DESCRIPTION
An atypical Vibroshield in most respects. This specific model designed by Agrel for himself and his most loyal confidantes enhances already established qualities. These Shields incorporate a coating of Haysian Smelt and Laminanium over the Ultrachrome base. The Haysian Smelt gives the shield an altogether more fiery appearance which is purely cosmetic but desirable by Agrel, it is also highly electrically conductive. The addition of laminanium is due to its high melting point and properties of self repair when shifting from liquid to solid states. Magnetized handles of slivian iron were grafted to the back of the shield.

Overall these shields are round or rectangular in shape, roughly thirty-six inches in diameter in most cases. The Vibro technology incorporated into the shields enables them to be able to deliver particularly nasty slams outside of their defensive roles.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Ultrachrome base
  • Mixed Haysian Smelt and Laminanium coating
  • Magnetized Slivian Iron handle/grips
  • Augmented Vibro Motor
  • Gene Locking technology
  • Integrated targeting computer
STRENGTHS
  • Energy Resistant - Ultrachrome is highly energy resistant and functionally capable of deflecting both blasterfire and slugthrowers, potentially redirecting them back at their source. Lightsabers cannot penetrate ultrachrome however when the metal reaches a high enough temperature it will begin to melt making prolonged contact with a lightsaber inadvisable.
  • Electrically Charged - Haysian Smelt is naturally and highly electrically conductive. Due to the coating overtop of the ultrachrome base these shields can naturally absorb electricty up to and including force lighting, holding some of it for later release during a timed shield bash and transfering it back into the target to augment the attack.
  • Defensive Adaptation - Integrated targeting computers integrated into the handles of the shield and synced with an HUD feed the wearer tactical data. In a sense the targeting computers will manipulate the wielder into positioning the shield at angles that are the most defensibly pliable.
  • Semi (self) Repairing - Ultrachrome is not invulnerable, in fact if it becomes to hot then it begins to melt. Laminanium in its coating is known to have self repairing qualities. If the shields base begin to melt on contact with a high energy source then the laminanium will assist it in cooling and reforming into its original shape.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Cover - A Shield by definition only protects its wielder at angles where it is positioned to block damage. Enemies capable of angling attacks around its cover will find that it is non entity.
  • Ion Energy - While ion energy has no effect on the metals that give the shield its resistances it can disable the vibro equipment and targeting computers integrated into the shield making it less effective in combat.
