Websource: www.valyriansteel.com Baratheon's Warhammer
Intent: To have an alchemical weapon for Orcus
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: One Sith Alchemists
Model: Pur'makyl
Affiliation: Darth Orcus' hammer
Modularity: no
Production: Unique
Material: Rare Ores
Description:
The sinister golden weapon was forged for Orcus at his own request by alchemists of the One Sith.

Strengths-
  • Lightning Rod: as a hammer form of a Sith Sword it can attract and absorb incoming lightning and then unleash that same lightning back when it strikes a physical target
  • Alchemical Properties: due to the Sith alchemy of the hammer it can deflect blaster and particle weapons as well as block lightsabers.
Weaknesses-
  • Heavy: despite its powers, it is heavier than a lightsaber and therefore takes more time and effort to swing.
  • Not A Lightsaber: it is not an invincible bar of plasma that can sear through nigh anything.
Classification: Warhammer
Size: One or two-handed
Length: 2.22m
Weight: 20kg
Other Features: Lightsaber resistant

I'll need a better source on the image - Google image search, or TinEye, should do it.

Amplifier: Pur'makyl serves as a focus point to harness the Dark Side and turns the wielder into a walking Dark Side nexus if they are powerful enough and have a strong enough connection to the blade.

Going to need a bit more detail on this one, limits, etc., but I'd prefer if you scrapped it altogether. That's a canon property that's best assigned to the kind of mastercraft sword that usually requires a dev thread with a highly skilled alchemist.

Heavens knows I harp on about this, but a 25kg Warhammer is a massively heavy thing. Even for a walking whale, do you honestly think he can use this for long without tiring?

Given that he’s not human, I would strongly suggest lowering the weight to say…10kg. You can still deliver a titanic amount of force with a weapon like that…heavier than any weapon used on Earth.

Let me know your thoughts.

This is quite different than Ashin's megasword.

I understand the concerns with realism, but this is honestly very feasible.

Hion is ~800 pounds and 7'2". Not to mention that the orbalisks covering his body give him increased strength. I'd imagine he can swing around 55 pounds, which is only 7% of his total body mass.

Comparatively, the picture is of a very real 10 pound hammer. Which would equate to ~7% of my total body mass. Could I swing it? Yeah. Would I be exhausted after a few swings? Yeah, but I'm not an orbalisk-enhanced Dark Sider.

I'll drop it to 20kg
