Kay nodded, glad that things were getting hammered out now. Hopefully she won't forget anything.

"You may build your own port, though we'd like to have a say on where it goes, for we wouldn't want people to lose their homes or their livelihoods. You may also have your own security team provided that they are respectful of the citizens of Commenor, of our guests and of course of myself. I wouldn't want any of your security team to be too quick on the trigger either as misunderstandings happen. And they are not working under impunity. Everyone is held accountable under our laws. I'm sure that you would ask the same of me. Also, our inspections will be at random and I may handle some of them personally from time to time."

Her concern for Jaster legal work was entertaining, she truely wished for Jaster to stay in line as he worked. He was kaniving and truely a resilient individual, not everyone had high morals as she did, and everyone in the republic filled out paperwork before doing anything. She thought she was clever, but Jaster was always well informed.

Alexia was still looking at Kay, the feline had meet with Jaster as they conversated about the Galaxy. She had never left her home planet before and requested to see it first hand. Jaster promised that he would find her a Jedi companion to conversated with.

"This sounds reasonable to me, though normally of a crim was committed on our property we would prosecute the individual, but since we are old friends I won't push this little detail, criminals and juveniles will be held until your officials arrivals," Jaster looked at Alexia, the feline had been quite for some time, it would seem that she was very interested in Kay, "Before I hand over Alexia to you as a gift, I must inform you, she knows very little about the Galaxy and had chosen to accompany me in search of a Jedi, apparently they thrive off the force that comes from a user of the Light Side of the Force, or so she explained to me, and as you can see, beside the teeth, she seems like an average household feline, so don't worry too much about it giving away you being a force user, I told her of you.... Situation and she's agreed to keep it a secret."

Alexia looked back at Jaster and gave him an eye, the feline was only 4 years old, a young adult in their culture so she didn't enjoy being spoken of as a child. "Well Jaster, I'm sure Ms. Jamison would enjoy to hear that your teasing me?"

Ms. Jamison, Jaster XO and commander of the UTC Defence Fleet, also a avid feline addict that was overly joyed to see a small feline that was able to speak. Jaster was truely afraid of the women, top level marksmen, top of her hand to hand combat class, and someone who had a short fuse. Jaster stopped smiling as he though of the long 'Conversation' that would ensue if the XO heard about his little teasing spout.

Kay nodded to his comments about his security. "Yes, I'd prefer it if your men held the younglings or criminals for us so that we may bring them to justice. I think that it would garner you more trust from the people as well. Which is a great thing for business as I'm sure you already know."

She finished her tea and put the cup aside after Jaster explained about Alexia and teased. "Thank you for keeping it a secret. There are many people that I have encountered that don't like Force users, and of course I wouldn't be allowed in the Senate if it were known. And as I have a bounty on me, it would come as a surprise to them if I was captured. Very few know of me powers and I prefer to keep it that way. I could lose everything if discovered."

Kay looked to Jaster. "Shall I write up the contract and send it to you? Or should we just get it done now?"

Jaster was still thinking of the argument, well the XO winning a fight, when Kay brought up the contract. It was better for her legal team to iron out the fine lines so Jaster wouldn't have any legal problems, also something to show her replacement it the time ever came.

"I thing drawing up the contract would be best, patience is something one must have if they are to succeed in the world after all."

"That's very true."

She chewed the inside of her cheek a bit as she looked towards the datapad Jaster had that contained all of the info on Sempra's dealings, including about his slaves. "Mind if I take a peek of that now? I would like to see where Sempra gets his slaves from. The poor villages should be warned ahead of time..." Yes, she gave him a little hint into what she was planning.

Jaster grinned as the women accepted his terms and agreements for the trade deal, now he was to hand over the details of Sempras Invasion Plans. With her still intervention on the slave trade, Jasters profits of transporting secure trade ships would only increase. Sempra nowever was currently not insulating villages or even planets, he was enslaving criminals and signing treaties. Sempras pirates and goons were more into kidnapping as of late, but Jaster was still willing to hand over the small list he currently had.

"I'd be happy to," Jaster picked up the datapad and brought up the planets in which he currently knew were being placed under Sempras command. "It's not much at the moment, Sempras walking on egg shells, he doesn't want to distruept the treaty with the Republic, so his PR specialist are working overtime to cover his slave trade."

He handed her the datapad, there was only two planets on the list, others would be transported to her via encrypted messaging.

Kay wasn't so sure if she trusted that grin as there was a lot behind it. That and he had played her before. She took the list and nodded.

"Cover but not eliminate, criminal or otherwise." She glanced to Alexia and wondered what she thought of all of this.

Jaster looked at the senator, did she truely believe to exterminate the salve trade entirely? The though was truely childish, as slavery happened within the Republic under their noses. He had supplied the slaves himself, via Sempras orders of course. Jaster didn't have the luxury of desired contracts, companies that were already in dealings with the other Trade Empire didn't want Jasters trade networks. Slave trade was all he could do if he wanted to finance his other projects.

He would however envied her drive and determination on what he believed was a lost cause, such dedication was a lost art in this new world. After the Neatherwold Incident, everyone became very selfish and some even collaped into drinking and self destruction. To see the senator working for he benifits of others, well it inspired hope in Jaster that there were some still decent people in the galaxy.

"That is true, but drugs are the big ticket in the Hutt Empire, more and more Drugs are traded within and out of the Hutt territory, that slaves are too exspencive for the average Joe, only the inner most circles of the Cartel have slaves, heck I have one just for pure image within the cartel, though technically she's been freed, she works for me to keep my apearence within the Cartel, slaves thanks to your intervention is a sign of upper society or escolation in status, more exceptional slaves you have, the higher your social status."

Alexia looked at the two in true confusion and then spoke up, "Is the galaxy truely this, dark?" she searched for the words to explain where she was coming from, "On my planet it was just easy living, once I joined Jaster on his travels, all I saw was conflict and dangers, is there any positives in this larger world Jaster explained to me as your galaxy?"

That caught Jaster of guard, he did his best to ignore the problems with the galaxy, but when she brought it up, Jaster was surprised.

She glanced to the datapad as he spoke, looking up to him as he mentioned having a slave. She wondered if it was the slave girl that helped him in the White Palace and had so brilliantly acted as though she were beaten down and afraid.

But then his words gave Kay some other ideas. There were slave auctions going on. What if she could buy the whole lot and free them? That could be another strategy in her 'war' against Sempra. She just had yo make him suffer where it hurt most, in his pocketbook, after slaughtering the slaves in front of her. She hated feeling helpless and that was one of those moments.

And then Alexia spoke, which brought her out from bad memories. "I'm sorry to say, but yes it is this dark. Even darker in some places. But there are also places where it isn't so dark at all. And there are those like myself that strive to help others and defeat the darkness. It'll never go away, but at least we can try to lesson it's influence....If ever you wish to go home where you don't have to be around these constant battles, I will take you."

Jaster smiled as Kay spoke to the Feline as a child, she was a child's mind in the vastness of the galaxy. She like much of her race had never left her planet, explorers only recently found the planet. "I had found Alexia's group on my travels to a rumored new planet, days even weeks on the planet had killed many of my Officers, but after we found her and her group, they thought us how to service, in return for the information, Alexia and several of her companions were to accompany me to seek knowlage of the vast galaxy, the others were to scared to make the journey, only her and another female joined us, Alexia after hearing the stories of the Jedi my crew spoke of wished to be paired with one, learn the ways of what many of you call the Force, the sister wanted to be pared with criminals, learn the dark secretes of the galaxy, if you ask me, she's a little on the creepy side for me."

Jaster looked at his clock as he turned to radio in, "Excuse me?"

The feline looked at Kay with couriosity, "What Jaster says is true, I asked to journey into the galaxy, the thing you call the Force is a part of our culture and being, though we can only sense the force and not use it, I wish to learn how other sentient life as Jaster explained it, uses it, I now know that even the peaceful Jedi use it for War, but the soldiers from Jasters crew spoke of healers, scientist, and Jedi of knowlage, if possible I wish to know about them."

The description of Alexia's sister didn't sound so pleasing. But it was probably to be expected. For every good person, there was a bad person. It had always been that way.

Kay nodded to let Jaster excuse himself, though of course she was curious as to what was going on. Instead though she looked to Alexia and smiled a little. "I've learned a lot about healing. If I was allowed to continue my training, I could've been one of the best. I could show you some time."

She furrowed her brow as she pondered on whether or not it was safe for Alexia to be around her. Trouble always follows her and with that bounty on her head...Well...There were quite a few wanting to cash in.

Jaster returned from his call with someone on a communicator. It would seem suspicious as most people preferred to speak over holo-comunicators unless you were in the military. In through, Jaster was just stuck in his old ways of being a warrior in the Mandalairian Military, holo-communicators were just inconvenient to him.

He walked up to the table where the two were speaking, "So Alexia, what do you think of Kay?"

The feline looked up to Jaster with a wide grin and her sharp teeth showing, "Well she's a lot nicer then your crew makes her out to be, and compared to your discript-"

"Well that's enough outa you" Jaster interrupted with a quick placement of his index fingur on his lips, he looked over to Kay, "So, shall you accept my gift and have this pretty little Feline as your companion on your little mistifist missions, or will I have to search for another home for this pretty kitty?"

Alexia didn't enjoy that statement and was ready to pounce on Jasters back which was facing her.

She raised a brow to what Alexia had said. Did his crew say that she was a mean person? How very strange because she had always hoped that she was kind and respectful to most. Maybe given her position, they figured her to be snooty. And she was quite curious about what she was about to say before Jaster interrupted her. It wasn't often that she saw him act a little embarrassed. Should she press him on it? Maybe a little later.

Kay looked from one to the other. "Misfit missions, hmm?" Her eyes rested on Jaster and she was well aware of Alexia's distaste of what he had said by the way that she was swishing her tail back and forth with her head slightly lowered. Why anyone would risk angering someone with a set of those teeth was beyond her. He was either really brave or stupid. "I will accept her companionship, although I don't claim ownership of her. Alexia may join me as a new friend, for a little while at least, until she wishes to go back home." She then gave her a small smile. "And then maybe she could finish what she was going to say before you interrupted her. How was it that you described me to her, Jaster?"

Just as Kay questioned Jaster about how Jaster described her before they dicked with the ship, Alexia jumped on Jasters back and dug her claws into the left side of his back. Jaster shot trait as a tree and whimpered to himself, it was quite painful. "Oh I'm sorry Jaster, something scared me and jumped on you for safety."

She jumped off and walked over to sit by Kay's feet, near the foot of her chair. Jaster felt at his back to check if he was bleeding, but he seemed fine. Jaster just hopped these the feline wouldn't say that he mentioned Kay being a loose cannon and sometimes kind to a fault, but she was still kind and possibly the best person to teach her about the Lihht side of the force then any Jedi he currently knew.

Just then a tall Diathim walked into the room holding a Datapad and looking at Jaster, "Viceroy, we must be on our way of we are to meet with Sempra on time, forgive the intrusion sir."

Jaster looked back at the female, this was the slave he was given and used as a standing within the Cartel, though by all accounts she was acturaly free now. "Thank you Dami'ter, I will be on my way shortly," she stepped outside with a bow and Jaster turned to Senator Kay, "We will have to finish this conversation later Madam Senator, and stay out of trouble you two."

Her eyes widened as Alexia had jumped onto Jaster's back. She didn't need to do that. Though Kay was thankful that he wasn't bleeding or she'd be compelled to heal him. But even if he or she does tell her how she was described, Kay would agree with those comments.

But as she was about to express just that, Dami'Ter arrived. Kay bowed her head to her in greeting, ever so glad to see her away from the White Palace. And then she looked to Jaster as he spoke of departing. Funny how he became all formal again. She bowed her head to him. "Thank you for coming and for the gift of Alexia's companionship. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I'm sure that it will benefit both of us greatly. I have a feeling that we'll see eachother again soon." To that she had no doubt. Jaster always showed up whenever she was in Cartel territory and she expected to be near there again in a matter of weeks.
