The fortress that had been discovered by Vulpesen and Matsu Ike served much better then many others. As a meeting location he had sent out the coordinates to allow others who had wanted to come a chance to well join him out here. The mountains and normal dangers would mean they had to be clever finding a way up to the fortress itself but getting past the pools of molten magma that burst around and created waterfalls while droids harvested obsidian from the heat. That was also kind of important there was also the crystals that could be discovered as the jedi master stood there. Sash over his eyes, lightsaber on the hip and the heat of the rivers as they were all around leading up a carved pathway to the old fortress they had found from some fo the ancient jedi.

"Now lets just see about it." The jedi master turned around and the fresh welts and small areas where he had gotten burned from one fo the large worms was there. Here on the world it was one fo the best places he had found to push those wanting to learn how to survive and go against the darkside without having to risk them just being there. The boots sealed with the robed pants that were highly protective thanks to Kiriko and the others who had made it. Highly flexible, armored and force enhancing as he could wear them and moved around like it wasn't really there. The belt with his lightsabers on it, the small compartments with supplies before the jedi master crossed his arms over his chest standing ready to meet the ones who wanted to come here. There was much to discuss.

Since the fall of several prominent members from the Silver Shadows and Silver Order as a whole, Arisa believed a change was an order. As she saw it, all its members had to be more vigilant in monitoring against corrupting influences while also trying to be considerate of each other's needs. Right now, she felt a distinct lack of community within Silver Order, which could make the lure of the Dark Side all the more attractive. Whatever ill could be said about the Sith, she usually found them acting much more cohesively, even supporting each other. Meanwhile, Jedi sects squabbled among themselves in petty contests to determine the "best" style of Jedi. It was little wonder why Jedi usually found themselves on the losing sides of conflicts over the past decade.

When she heard of calls to reform the Silver Shadows, she decided to take part as one of the last remaining Shadows of the previous iteration. It provided her with a chance to finally provide some input on making the necessary reforms to move forward.

She arrived at the designated system by way of her personal starfighter, conducting a detailed surface scan before descending planetside. At the coordinates provided in Syn's message, she found a large structure in the midst of large rivers of lava. She had no plans on getting stranded
on this far out place, so she picked out a flat clear area of the fortress to land. Little did she know, she had just entirely circumvented the intentional obstacles in her concern for her well being.

As she touched down on the fortress, she felt the presence of Syn. At this distance, she was able to pick him out, bare chested and all. Once she has asked around if the Jedi Master always walked around like that, and she had received a resounding yes on the topic.

"Interesting place you picked out for this meeting, Master Syn." She said as she came close to him from her parked fighter. In contrast to Syn, Arisa was dressed much more darkly in dark street wear, her normal style when out and about on her own.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
If there was one thing the Silver Jedi knew about Sorel, it was that she was dutiful. Not in a begrudging or half-hearted way, but in a true manner of servitude. She was a Jedi and Jedi needs always came first. And unlike some of her comrades that had subsequently left the Order, she did not see that as odd or in any way demeaning or negative.

She wanted to be a Jedi. Being Sorel came a distant second. And that suited her just fine.

And so the call came to aid the Jedi and Sorel answered. The fact that the purpose was to specifically oppose the dark-side was fortuitous and simultaneously fated. Was this her final test, or merely the path she was always destined to follow, given her beliefs? Time would tell and Sorel would waste no time dwelling on the possibilities.

She wore her usual robes and found the path to the destination a challenge but rewarding. Perhaps it was a metaphor? Regardless, her bracelet allowed her to keep cool under the climactic conditions, but her robes were singed in many places and she could feel welts where her skin too had been marked.

But she shrugged these off and bowed to those assembled as she reached them.

Some of them were arriving as he stood there mostly to get a better idea of what they could o but seeing one of them just fly down pointed out a drastic flaw in the plan... kind of... he could work with it while they were heading forward now. He was letting the force remain there when he spke seeing some of them arrive. "Welcome." He let his voice come over the sounds of the flowing lava and there was all the heat coming off that the circlet was allowing them to resist easily enough though as he was leaving it open. There was still a need for the silver intelligence director to handle things but those who wanted to work down here in te much with the shadows could get a chance to be thrown around by a nine hundred year old jedi master. "After Midvinter, I figured it would be best to have a warm place to discuss what happened."

Rakieh Atur

The Watchman's Apprentice
While Rakieh wasn't a member of the original Silver Shadows, and further had yet to become an official shadow himself, Rakieh felt as though it was just as much his duty as it was the duty of any of the other remaining shadows to be present for this meeting.

His knowledge of the history of the Silver Shadows was very limited, limited in such a way that he knew only of what it's purpose was and a name that continued to appear so often in his raiding of the Library's materials that it almost haunted him: Connor Harrison. It was his hope that, whatever conversation happened at the meeting, they could all find a way to reform the shadows and avoid future transgressions such as the ones the organisation had once seen. It was also his hope, if one could hope such things, that his presence was one welcomed at this time, and that this could perhaps be his first steps into becoming a full fledged shadow.

Getting to the planet was difficult enough to start. While Rakieh had planned to travel to Coruscant regardless of what was to come up, travel without personal means of doing so was quite difficult to arrange and even more difficult to pay for. Regardless, with what little funds he had to do so, he had stopped at this particular planet only to begin a trek across its fiery, hellish terrain, having almost fell —very embarrassingly, in hindsight— to his doom multiple times, incurring a few minor lacerations and experiencing multiple minor burns along his legs and his arms, forming some bruises and welts where he might have slipped into the rock-face or slammed against it in catching himself. Regardless, indeed, he pressed on, having at one point stored his mask in his now mostly tattered robes in hopes of not damaging it —a feat in-of-itself, the mask not being damaged already.

Upon reaching the meeting-place, sweat dripping down his face and drenching the vital areas of his body, Rakieh bowed his head in respect to those already there. "Master Syn. Master Crieff. Master Yune." At the time of his arrival, Syn had just finished his sentence, and Rakieh, though part of him told him he shouldn't, spoke in response. "I must say though Master Syn, if I may, your use of 'warm' seems to cover a wide range of temperature gradients."

She brightened as she felt and saw Sorel coming up with her in the fortress courtyard. It had been a while since she had seen her friend, the Watchman now based back in Kiribi. These days, their paths only seemed to cross as result of terrible events. After today's meetup, she'd see if she could peel away her devoted friend from her Jedi duties for a time to go hang out in the core.

Among the small gathering, there was one of the Silver Order's newest initiates, Mr. Atur. They had never met until today, but from what she had discussed with other instructions on Voss about the latest batch of initiates, he seemed to be a promising individual. She'd keep her eye on him

As Master Syn mentioned a need for the change of scenery
post-Midvinter, she had to hold her hand over her face to stifle a chortle. Not knowing the Jedi Master very well, she wasn't sure if he was being serious, or if it was a bit of deadpan humor. In the presence of an impressionable young Padawan, she decided to treat it as the former and treat his statement seriously.

"Thank you for the invitation," she answered after regaining composure, offering a respectful nod. "Ah, so what's the story behind this place?"

HE could sense more of them and the jedi master stood prepared and ready. motioning with his hand for Arisa and the others who were here. some fo them prepared and he could smell Sorel through the smoke and dust rising up onto one of the areas overlooking the fortress itself. "I want to welcome all of you here, I know there isn't a lot and what happened both at and before midvinter hit us all hard." he remained there turning around as the power flared more around him to shift his aura. "The silver jedi have been hit hard by a series of betrayals different ones for different reasons but all seem to stem from the same problem." He remained there and compared to many of the others he might not move around, he might not like being around all of the people but he preferred to have the honor. To stay around and operate as a jedi even though it might cost him little by little a piece.

"The problem was we had let the jedi and the shadows become corrupte. Vexander is skilled, he was talented y he was also trying to combine the different positions within the jedi to become one thing... then he was given the idea that the group should be more then jedi. That they needed to be above the others, assassination, theft, using the darkside. Little by little he and Connor wanted the shadows to accept ore and more the darkside being used to serve the lightside was how it needed to be. Connor Harrison cutting out the shadows purpose, cutting out what makes the shadows into something that allowed it to have wisdom. He got rid of having another jedi on the council who can look objectively and with wisdom at what the shadows do and where the shadows should go with disdain making it so the position was his alone to command."

Calmness flared, the ancient jedi master had gone through a lot and anger was one thing to have but it served no purpose. it burned you out, made you walk the path of the darkside. So he remained ready for anything and standing here he could see them in the force while his senses were expanding outwards before he came to stand there. "It is a quiet thing for one jedi to fall, to so cut themselves off from the others of the order that the only advice they seek out to tell them they are doing the right thing are the voices of the sith. It is cowardly but understandable, they wanted to do something and hearing people who might have something different to say it scary. Dragging their padawan into their cause and tarnishing that which is a long standing group with their own selfish wants and desires just because."

That was the part that really grated on him while he was moving there. he pointed his finer and there was a list of jedi who had left the order for no other reason then their own selfish needs. Many others who just floated and went where they could get the advantage never setting themselves up or establishing the roots a jedi needs to whether a storm. It made the jedi masters blood boil at times as he had known plenty like that or ones who thought their duties were over. Who believed they didn't need to keep doing something not because the war was won but just because they had been knocked down. It wasn't something he preferred until he continued. "We are jedi, more then that we are part of the order, tasked with cleaning up the darkside where it is found and destroying the artifacts. We do not bend like connor and aria."

He said their name with a little venom, those two had shown how pliable the order itself had become in terms of training. Aria had even brought sith to Voss and tried to delete the archives of the silver order. If it wasn't for well practical sense, back up, an AI and security clearance then she might have managed to do something like discover when a jedi vanishes and turns tot he darkside... The tech division locks out their codes so they can't actually be used by enemies of the order. "We've had other leave whether because they conversed with sith and figured that they are saying something they can agree with so ignore history and what you know. We've had others who have left because things are not are pristine as they want it to be. Or the personal favorite of mine, leaving because you don't get glory and recognition."

He was looking at them and the hybrid with the force sight could see more of it. "We are jedi, we do not live for glory, we do not seek to have our names be heralded as heroes. The individual is not as strong as the group. We are only as strong as each other and the ones around us. From the eldest grandmaster to the lowest youngling all need to work together and be united. The opposite of what the sith stand for." He said it walking them and other jedi like Ryn who had seen training in the silvers and ran off as soon as he had gotten a chance or some like Veire who had come here and then left because he wasn't being given the rank of master right away despite not doing anything else. Dune who had just left and resurfaced elsewhere. If they had left the order and were just bein freelance like Valae the padawan of the randmaster he could accept that.

The jeid master continued to look at them and there was a number of incidents that had happened. from the attacks on the temple at Voss, to Ossus, to the latest at Midvinter. Voss had mostly been attention seekers, Ossus had seen the mandalorians and sith working together and using technologie that no one in the galaxy had seen since the celestials were in the galaxy. Teleportation, the ability to move entire fleets away from your own and bypass all defenses of a base ot even a planetary shield over an area. It boggled the mind, they were using the same technology at Midvinter and had proven to the jedi a number of limitations they had when they used solid grounding over ignorance to how something works. He would have to continue investigating with the others if they had the chance for it."

"Here in this fortress we were supposed to be joined by the remaining silver shadows for reforms and to start the process of properly rebuilding. After seeing Connor and Aria on Midvinter serving the sith and showing how much more powerful they became with the darkside." He said the last and let his voice drip with sarcasm because he had seen no skill but if anything both had been pathetically underwhelming and the defenses of the city and walls hadn't been breached aside from teleportation. The suddenly the sith order had vanished broken up into different sith groups who served little purpose to them before the jedi master stood ready for anything. "Either way the old silver shadows are gone, their ways of corruption, darkside use and assassination are gone. We are servants of the light who eliminate the darkside. We do not sleep with it as many do."

Arisa blinked after Master Syn went off on his diatribe from out of nowhere, then frowned as he bad mouthed several Jedi by name, especially at the mention of Connor Harrison. She hadn't known the man very well, but she could recall him coming to the aid of the Old Republic in their time of need against the Sith on Deneba. That was a lot more than she could say about most Silver Jedi, who had collectively garnered a poor reputation for their policy of isolationism. It was a bit rich hearing a Silver Jedi complain about abandonment when most of the Jedi had abandoned her with the Republic, even after she had come to their aid on Ruusan.

"Master Syn, If I may, I don't believe that you should be so quick to denounce your fellow Jedi, even if they have turned on us now. From what I saw of some of the people you mentioned, they seemed to be fairly decent, if troubled. Matters are not as black and white as you present them."

"With all these people leaving the Silver Order, I think we need to admit to ourselves that those who remain are part of the problem and we need to look where we failed individuals like Connor and Aria instead of pointing fingers. Coming in from the Republic, I'd like to think that the Silver Jedi were more nuanced and understanding than the New Jedi Order, but it is honestly disappointing to listen to what I'm hearing now."

She could have gone on more, but she stopped there, trying be diplomatic. Syn came off as one of those Orthodox Jedi types she had read through in her studies of the Jedi through the era. They were noted for their callousness that left them at a disconnect with the people they were supposed to serve, and even among themselves. This apathy had eventually led to the downfall of the original Jedi Order. If this was how the masters of the Silver Jedi comported themselves, slinging out verbal abuse, then it was small wonder that members were leaving in droves.

He was looking at her now. Face blank as what she said was rolling around in his head before he spoke. "Really?" He said it with disbelief while he stood there looking at a few of the others then crossed his arms over his chest. "So jedi who follow the code, serve the light, keep their vows to serve people are the proplem. THose who run off to become darksiders, those who leave because its hard." He made an exasperated sound with his voice while eing there. "Because they didn't think serving others and helping them meant all of the time and they deserve to have their own life." He stayed there though waiting. "We are the jedi shadows, elite sentinels within the order. We serve the light and go after the dark. It is always black and white with us. That is why we are effective, that is why we have oversight and others who tell us where to go."

He remained there though and brushed off the rest of it. He was older then most here, easily and had seen more then enough before looking around at a few of the things they had here. "As to connor, one good deed in a sea of bad decisions doesn't amount to much. That is like saying palpatine was not such a bad guy because he helped an old woman across the street once." The others well he didn't care enough, he had seen them as just another disappointment. They had stayed long enough to get what they wanted and then ran away for other wants, a new shiny. "Any jedi that forsakes his or hers oaths to serve the people and the light, to e a guardian of the force and battle the darkside deserves what is heaped upon them. You have taken a vow that is not supposed to be so easily broke and yet..."

He said it whie standing there. "And yet you toss it aside because you like children see something shiny and new as more exciting. The attention span of a gnat instead of actual dedication to a cause that might not directly benefit you." He remained there now and walked a little with some thoughs to it as he thoughts about Connor for a moment and decided to entertain the young child. Her notion that the jedi did something wrong and were the problem not the ones who betrayed them. Where did the jedi go wrong with connor? Was it trusting him, promoting him, teaching him, forgiving him the different times he kept slipping to the darkside, entrusting him to lead a group that is notorious for their anti sith viewpoint and reputation for eliminating traces of the darkside despite him being a darksider? Just where did they go wrong... because she presented it like he couldn't bbe at fault for his own actions.

He stayed there, thought about it for a few moments allowing the force to contemplate it for him and weighed the pros and cons of debating it. The pros were he could see where this ones thoughts laid and why reforms such as this were important. Abusing this position and group had led to dangers and prolems, the shadows were meant to e sent in and gather information not be something used like a hammer. The cons were that he would likely be bored and his plans for the area here was to see what they could learn and observe as sith had been using this planet for a number of things. From the empire to the fringe, the primeval, crusaders and now just random darksiders woulld come here for the fireworms along with other things. Debating whether or not fallen jedi are to bllame for their falling to the darkside was incredibly dumb.

Space Elf.. its a thing apparently.
Honoko was a fairly newcomer to the whole jedi thing so the invitation came as a surprise.
she had never realy heared of the shadows but by standing quietly and just listing she gathered as the name implyed that they were a sort of dirty jobs squad for the SJO. "Look im flattered and all. but why am i here? i'm not the stealth type. " she admitted thinking to her self it was true she liked fixing things... and breaking them.
but that being said she was Mandalorian by birth so it stood to reason to look for someone willing to do those dity jobs,
she had heeded the invitation coming in her ship the NAIL. and was more than redy for a trap.
" i got a question. a few if that is ok. first of who the skev are the shadows? secound is, If you lot shanked it up besore why try for a secont time? "

The jedi master turned to look at the girl who arrived and was asking about the shadows. He remained as ever but had a small look on his face. "The shadows are an elite group of jedi sentinels formed and sent out after conflicts to clean up traces of the darkside. While some seem to think it is more proactive it has always been reactive and seeks to have all of the facts instead of just blindly running off to go and fight what one thinks is the enemy. It is also regulated, controlled by the jedi council because traditional shadows are servants of the light. They fight anything that won't fit itno their view of it, that includes the shades of grey many children like to put onto things." He was hoping that gave her a few ideas but also spoke. "You though are from the tech division, the sentinels we have who like to build and make things yes? This fortresss is something that you are here for. To work on fixing up."

The more she heard about the direction of the Shadows as envisioned by Master Syn, the less she liked of it. In her mind, the structure and mission of the organisation didn't seem suitable current times where there were Sith running around left and right. There was no longer any room for a reactive group as the Sith plagued the galaxy. They needed to get ahead of the threat and try to understand their enemy instead of making blanket assessments from their holes.

She had come with ideas in her head about how to reform the group to better serve the Silver Jedi Order and the people they protected, but Syn appeared to be stalwart in refusing change. Not in the mood for fighting, she decided she was just going to call it a day and leave them be.

"I'm sorry, but I don't feel comfortable here anymore," she told him. "If this is all the Shadows can be in your mind, then I'm going to have to reassess my participation in such an inflexible organisation. Good day to you."

She looked around for a moment, eyes lingering on her friend Sorel. Then she turned away and headed back for her ship to return to Voss and get back to more pressing concerns. The new batch of Shadows could do as they like, so long as they didn't interfere with her work combating the Sith.

" I am here to me a Jedi not a Mercenary or an Assassin. im a mechanic. i'll help on that side of things but this isn't why i came here. " she admitted.

"The silver shadows became corrupt because they chose to push for assassination, they abandoned their purpose of cleaning up to do things they were not supposed to do." He was looking at her. "We are not them, I didn't join the silver shadows for a reason, beyond trying to be an echo chamber and controlled by one of their own. They only bred danger and corruption, a shadow in controlled and sent out only when the circumstances require it." The jedi master said it and watched the other one walking off. Which was for the best as he saw it. He turned back to look at Honoko and spoke. "I have no idea what she thought this was going to be, the shadows were the most inflexible part of the order for a reason. It is in all of the histories... but no matter you are an engineer and technical jedi padawan. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do but I am just asking you to fix the place here up. He looked at her and remained looking at her but eye contact with a blind being wearing a sash is not the biggest thing always. Though he was looking at her and curious but shrugged to himself. "Right." He turned to look back and was making it a small thing. Crossing his arms over his chest though as he tried to understand what she was talking about. The shadows were not police, they weren't anything like what they were being portrayed as and he had children going he cared little and he was not putting himself in charge. There was no one in charge of the shadows within them. The assembly, the council would assign someone to oversee and send them out. He was going to be involved to work on specifically no one becoming corrupt by actually working on the training to resist the darkside. "You make it sound as if I am going to assume Connors position and control everyone. I am not, I am merely one in the service of the order and the force. The old ways worked and they were changed leading to failure. I am putting it back on track and it is going to make these children who want everything to be about inclusion upset."
