Private Walk the World

The Force, it gave some people problems. It gave some solutions. For Jared Starchaser? It kind of gave both.

He loved the Force, loved the many colors and shades, and layers it had. But he hated it at the same time. Who his father was, how vibrant the Force worked for him, giving him clarity and purpose, making him a hero. His sister still used the Force, finding a solace in her place with it. A Warden of the Sky, not beholden to any one group. She had her creed, she followed it, and she was a damned good Warden. Their father was too, and so was Jared, when he could focus on that one aspect.

But the Mirialan hybrid, who once so idolized his father, always had difficulties finding himself in the Force. It was why he became a Hunter of the Fringe, a Force adept who wandered the places between worlds, finding those that needed help, learning from those who would teach, and doing deeds for those who either really needed it, or could pay. It put him on the outs. He worked with the Jensaarai, and the Jedi, he had training in the military, but he was certain those were not his answers.

And his wanderings brought him far and wide. The larger ship, the Cipactli-class, was kept a system away while he took the Sunrise and made his way into the system he was looking for. No distress, but he knew that there was someone else nearby. A location was established and Jared had a deal to make, going after a long forgotten holocron. Contents unknown, but it'd be better to locate it than to leave it so it could fall into the wrong hands.

The green-skinned man parked his speeder bike and walked on foot through the streets of the outpost, the harsh sun being fought by the canopy of cloth over the marketplace.
