DESCRIPTION
The Cipactli-class cruiser is a semi-unique offering from the SoroSuub Corporation at the direction of Home Guard General Coren Starchaser. A limited run of modular cloaked cruiser, the Cipactli has two major loadouts, both with their specific mission protocols. The assault version is a heavier hitting and longer lasting vessel that sacrifices speed and some of the more 'life safety' advanced systems to be a vessel of much else. The assault model is designed to work as a solo operator or within a larger team of starships that can either be a vanguard for a fleet operation, using its cloaking system, or a vessel that is designed to hunt targets on the farther reaches of space without being seen before the trap can be sprung.

The covert variety of the vessel is designed to be a true scout or courier vessel. Weapons designed to keep enemies away from its close range, or disable and disrupt their plans at far range, the advanced systems on the covert vessel allow it to scan systems, and move through enemy territory. Through the use of the HIMS system, the ship will have more capability to press deeper into a gravity well, the resulting system allowing the ship to be where it may not be particularly allowed, nor expected, and the Sensors Scrambling Suite will allow it attack the enemy's scanners, in order to find the safety of cloak, or break for lightspeed.

The Cipactli-class cruiser is released as a limited run vessel and as the advanced systems are designed to not interfere with themselves, are only granted to worthy causes or individuals by SoroSuub Corporation at the direction of General Coren Starchaser.

Coren Starchaser Coren Starchaser , I'll be your factory judge for this submission.

Manufacturer: Starchaser Enterprises(Design), SoroSuub Corporation (Production)

Can you please hyperlink SoroSuub to either the wookieepedia article or to the Chaos company submission? (If it is by the chaos company submission, we will also need proof from the owner that they're okay with you using their company to manufacture this if you are not SoroSuub's owner).

  • Hangar Space: Small
  • Hangar Allocations:
    • 16 Fighters/5 Shuttle Craft (Assault Configuration)
    • 10 Fighters/6 Shuttle Craft (Covert Configuration)

I think the rating that you're looking for here is "Low" rather than "small". That should provide the Cipactli with 2 squadrons, which gets to our next point. At this time, we count all small craft by squadrons rather than by individual vessels within a squadron. The main reason for this because exact squadron size is a balancing feature in the small craft template. If we list craft individually like this, it creates a loophole that people can abuse to get a large number of higher-powered craft than normal. I'd recommend this for the Cipactli to get something similar to what you listed:
  • Starfighters: 1 squadrons
  • Support Craft: 1 squadrons

Speed Rating: Slow (Assault) / High (Covert)

I think the speed rating that you may be looking for the Assault version is "Low".

Overall , the assault version appears to be one rating underpowered. There's any number of things that you could increase, but I think that based on your description, my first guess would be to increase armament rating to "Very High" instead of "High".

If the ship is caught in a gravity well, the HIMS system will allow it to continue its jump to hyperspace

This is probably more of a unintentionally vague language, but I feel that I should also clarify this just to be on the safe side. HIMS allows starships that already in hyperspace to continue to coast through hyperspace or penetrate deeper into an interdiction field because it sustains an already existing hyperspace 'bubble'. If a ship reverts into realspace and is caught in a gravity, a HIMS doesn't allow a ship to safely jump back into hyperspace because the using ship doesn't already have an active hyperspace 'bubble' to sustain.
