In the desolate emptiness of space, a starship drifted among the void.
It's distress signal had been going for nearly two decades, with no answer. It's inhabitiants were long dead, from fighting, starvation, or suicide. Only one spark of life remained, entrapped in carbonite in the center of the ship.
That spark stared into nothingness as the skeletons of the former crew lay around it. The atmosphere in the ship was still breathable, if there was any left to breathe it, but alas, there were none.
This ship simply drifted, waiting.
But now, it's signal reached another ship. A ship that belonged to a certain group:
The Sith Assassins.

Naga detecting the signal out of curiosity went to investigate. Who knows what or who might be aboard maybe something he could use? or a person he could find useful in the long run? there was a list as long as his arm on the possibilities. He knew others would come either way so he grabbed what gear he needed for the situation and started making his way towards this ghost ship to unlock what ever secrets or mysteries it may hold.

Currently, a small crew of Sith Assassins were on the board the Viper's Fang , a medium-sized stealth-capable freighter on its way to a pretty well-paying assassination mission.

Ajihad was in the co-pilot's seat, when a signal came through. It was a weak signal, barely noticeable in the endless communication waves traveling through the sector. Frowning, the Demon's Fist started fine-tuning the ship's communications array, trying to get a clearer version of the signal. After a few minutes, he managed to tune it the best he could. It seemed to be coming from a distant ship.

Ajihad sat back in his chair, frowning. They were pretty far into the distant outer rim, a place where little to no ships travelled. The assassins had come this way to avoid drawing any attention, and risk blowing their mission. However, this new occurrence was... unexpected. Frowning, he pressed the ship's intercom button. "Gentlemen, please make your way up to the front. There's something I want you to see."

Animus was on his way to his Shipyard in Mustafar, The lights and stars of the Universe flashed before him like a veil of Magic and majesty. Animus was returning from the Academy of Glee Anselm in a particularly good mood, he felt strong and powerful, impossible to destroy, not with the Secrets he was learning from his Master.

Suddenly R-6 began going nuts and a Holonet was beamed inside his Star fighter coordinates and an apparent distress signal from a nearby ship. Banking Hard in the direction Animus sped off in the direction of the Distress signal
The Incoming Transmission from the massive vessel. His fighter soon docked in the old lifeless ship but Animus felt nothing as he stepped inside it, hollow and dead, His suit was on as he stepped through it's Ancient Dock.

Naga went up to where [member="Lord Ajihad"] was to see the dead ship ahead of them.... so this was the ghost ship they came all this way out for He thought. He was anxious to see what was on board if anything but he knew he had to wait rushing into the jaws of the beast doesn't always end well for the one who runs in unprepared. But he was prepared and ready to go there where many species who could survive in low oxygen environments to call on but a space suit shall do until power is restored to this dead ship and air can once again flow through its ancient halls.

Ajihad looked at [member="Naga Itesak"] , as the acolyte observed to the looming ship ahead of them. After letting him take a good look at the vehicle, the Demon's Fist would speak, "So, Naga, what do you think? It seems there is a distress signal emitting from the ship, but it would delay our arrival to the assassination significantly. In fact, we would be too late entirely. Do you think we should go see what it is?"

The young acolyte pondered on this thought for a moment true checking out this signal would cause failure to our assassination but ...there maybe a benefit to all of this in the long run yet the decision was ultimately up to the Lord.

While i do think itd be wise to continue to our mission there might be something onboard we could use in the long run or someone we could manipulate to our cause. But again the choice is ultimately up to you if you wish to proceed or not but someone else will pick up where we left behind should we choose to leave.

Lord Ajihad would nod his head at the acolyte's statement. There was a possibility that there was something on the ship they could use to their advantage, or a possible future asset for the assassins. However, there was still the issue that boarding the ship would result in their tardiness to the assassination. Although, this ship did smell like adventure...

Ajihad directed the ship to land in the old hangar bay, which seemed to be falling apart. He did think about calling in to the ship, requesting permission to board, but he thought better of it. There could be dangerous hostiles onboard, and he didn't want to alert them of his presence. Upon landing, Ajihad would climb into the back of the ship, and grab his gear. After equipping everything he might need, Ajihad stepped off the ship, and into the hanger.

The first thing he noticed was the lack of oxygen. The air very thin, but still breathable for the Miraluka's acclimatized lungs. The next thing he saw was the bones. There were skeletons strewn about everywhere. He raised an eyebrow, this place must have held an army. Between the two observations that he had just made, Ajihad finally realized where he was. He was on board a ghost ship.

Just then, the assassin heard the sound of bones crunching underneath someone's boot. It wasn't him, and [member="Naga Itesak"] was still in the ship. Quick as lightning, he drew back the string on his Dathomiri Nightsister energy bow. He pointed the bow in the direction which he had heard the noise, and almost fired. However, he saw that he was looking at [member="Animus Malgus"] at the last second, and lowered the bow. He sighed, glad he had not accidently killed the acolyte. "You startled me, Animus. Now what are you doing onboard this ship, may I ask?"

Naga walked down the ramp despite the thin air he was fairing well when he saw Animus Malgushttp://starwarsrp.net/user/8869-animus-malgus/ got on board before them nearly shot by [member="Lord Ajihad"] He was fairly surprised but shook his head knowing that it was a friendly .before he looked around the old decayed ship before them he glared at the armor not recognizeing it but he kept his vigillance and looked around the ship as he went towards the door and given there was no power he had to used his brute strength to open the door with a screech of metal on metal he managed to get the door open enough for them to get through in a single file line. He gazed down each hall way checking for anyone or anything to see if it was safe to process and waited for the others.

Animus looked into the figure of a clearly... Much better assassin. He knew who he was, everyone in the Assassin's knew, The Demon's Fist, but what was he doing here? In the middle of Nowhere? Surely he too must have not noticed the distress beacon, Could he?

Animus gave a bow to the Assassin, an Honor to even work beside him in any case. "My Lord, I detected a distress beacon in this sip, however there seems to be no one aboard" Animus said indicating to his Wristcom that indicated the distress call from inside this ship. The inside of the ship was abandoned, the sense of the Dark side lingered here however, it was strange to Animus though he would not show it, how this all transpired, as if some malevolent force pushed them towards their intended goals there seemed to be something here that wanted to be found. Animus dismissed this however as, superstition from his psychotic mind he sometimes needed to control. "What should we do now?"

Animus was prepared with his lightsaber and a special E-11 Blaster modified with a Scope, his Spacesuit, he did not trust the Thin Layer of Oxygen no matter what the situation, and a Spare suit for if Any survivors of Value were found, he quickly dismissed the possibility but not the Hope.

Ajihad nodded at [member="Animus Malgus"]'s statement, showing he agreed with what the acolyte said. "Indeed, it seems we are onboard a ghost ship. However, I'm getting a faint lifeform signal from the center of the ship..." He looked around, as his cybernetic eyes adjusted to the dark atmosphere within the ship. He was about ready to go back onto his ship, when he saw something that... caught his interest.

Looking at the ship's floor, he saw something on the skeletons that he had seen before. Something that he recognized from a recent event, something that he knew knew all too well...

The dry corpses were equipped with armor that was exactly the same as the armor wore by the intruders who had attacked the Assassins at their home base. Ajihad's dark skin paled a slight bit, the Grim Reaper tattoo becoming apparent on his forearm. The temperature in the hangar began to drop rapidly, and the assassins' breath was visible in frost within seconds. An angry scowl spread across Ajihad's face, and he beckoned to the two assassins that were with him. "Follow me. We're going to go check out this lifeform." Not waiting for a response, the assassin rapidly walked down the pitch-black hall.

Naga wondered what it was about the armor that caught Ajihads attention and made him so angry. But he obeyed and followed ajihad without quesiton who ever this new life form was ajihad had questions for it and naga wasnt about to stand in the way of the sith lord in these matters especially how his mood changed by looking at one of the corpses of the crew on board

The place was eerie and Animus did not even detect a sense of life, he was senseless in that aspect, like in many others contrary to what he would have you believe. Animus quickly stepped behind the other Assassin quickly and instinctively and after a short long road they were no longer near where they had come from. He had no idea exactly where he was going, but this was one of those moment where Animus, was glad to have company and Numbers. He did hear however a distinctive running as well towards their intended objective tailing them.Where they being followed? If so By Whom? Animus just continued on his Dash behind the other assassin, as Keeping up itself was a test of speed, and Animus found it hard pressed to keep up. He almost tripled Animus in speed. Just when he thought he was catching up, he was further way than before until they reached a place where air if any... Was as cold as Hoth...

Moving at a quick pace, the Knight moved through the ship's dark and empty halls. There was hellfire in his his eyes, and an aura of deadly hatred surrounded him like a black cloud of plague. The Demon's Fist expertly maneuvered through the ship, almost like he had been there before. Though, truth be told, this was only because of the HUD map his cybernetic eye projected.

Soon enough, he was at the heart of the ship. He seemed to be standing in what seemed to be the outskirts of a carbon-freezing chamber. And there, in the center of the room, stood the lifeform. Approaching cautiously, it seemed that this being was carbon-frozen, which was reasonable, given where it was at. Ajihad frowned. It seemed that this one's punishment had actually saved them from the fate of their crew...

"I don't know. Do you guys think we should cut this one loose, or wait until later?"

Naga merely looked over the figure, This was the life they where detecting the life that may prove to be a curse or a boon to our cause . Should it be unleashed from its carbon prison or let it rot there for eternity left alone on this dead ship. While looking it over he merely said " I say open it we may discover answers to some very interesting questions such as who this ship belonged to and how did they end this way"

Animus Malgus Naga Itesak

Animus looked upon the Carbonite encasing... there was life here. He put down the Space suit next to [member="Lord Ajihad"] and nodded. "whoever it is won't be of much danger... recovering from Carbonite itself is nearly impossible" Animus got closer to the Standing figure of Carbonate and stared at it trying to make out who or what this was. He did not sense lifeforms as keenly as Ajihad and he nodded at [member="Naga Itesak"]'s statement before saying with finality. "I say we open it." His voice boomed with confidence even more so having the Legendary Demon's Fist next to him, perfect moment however this was not. Animus had wanted to train with someone of his Caliber for some time, this trip might offer him the chance.

Ajihad nodded, so it was decided then. They would crack open this case, and see what it had to offer. He agreed with [member="Animus Malgus"]'s statement, that it was difficult to recover from Carbon Sickness. However, impossible it was not. He took several steps backwards, and drew one of his several lightsabers. "Go ahead and step back. Prepare to defend yourselves." Without waiting for a response, he used the force to flip off the temperature control regulators. They would solve this mystery, one way or another...

For the first time in twenty years, her consciousness began to stir.
What was happening? Had they finally arrived at Hoithea? Was she to be delivered to the Grandmaster at last? These questions only crossed her mind for a moment, before it was overwhelmed by feeling sensation after so long.

The carbonite slowly peeled away to reveal a young woman, with pale skin and tribal markings. A young woman that looked very similar to another in the Sith Assassins, and even had some of the same markings.
Dressed only in underclothes, she fell forward from her place in the carbonite block, coughing and gasping for air. Her arms shook as she tried to push herself up, calling upon all of her willpower. Vision blurry, and body shaking, the woman slowly stood, her chest heaving up and down as she tried to find air for breath.
Before her, she noticed three individuals. To her confused and addled mind, they seemed just like the bounty hunters that froze her.

"Have. . . Have we arrived?"
Her voice was scratchy and weak from disuse, and she squinted, trying to see clearly, but still nearly blind.
"Is it time for you to earn your credits, you worms?"

Naga had his claws sharp and ready but decided to let Lord Ajihad handle this one for now the girl was no doubt thinking they where the ones who put her there either that or members of the crew due to suffering from hibernation sickness. It would take sometime for her to recover and discover that she is the last of her crew. But he readied him self in case this woman attacked them out of sheer confusion. So he stood by [member="Animus Malgus"] ready to defend him self if need be. Yet he swore she looked similar to another one of his comrades in the SA even some of the markings matched the woman in question... yet another question to add to the possibly large list of other questions.

"Get her in the Space Suit, Quickly!" Animus began to stuff her into the suit and activating it air decompress-or ad Oxygen tanks immediately. Animus thought it very strange what she was saying, Credits? Arrived? Arrived where? These question would be asked later, for now they needed to get her to Safety. "Naga, Help me out"
