Wake Up

"That's a pretty bold claim buster." Kira replied, aware what Devin was attempting to do; distract her. She was happy to do just that, even if it was to relax a bit and use his strength and warmth to help quench the tide. They were both quite physical, but right now, the Jedi Lorrdian Master simply wanted to cuddle her beloved.

"My husband is pretty much the best husband in the world." she claimed, voice muffled as her lips pressed a soft kiss upon his chest. Soliael was tall, so his stride brought them to their little place of sanctuary rather quickly. Yet his feet were light. One wouldn't have expected a man so large to be able to move so quietly.

"Pretty hard to measure up."

They headed through The Freya and towards their bedroom. "Pffffffff."

Solilael made a half whistling mocking sound.

"Doubt it." He told her as he rounded a corner onto the correct deck. "He's probably a wimp."

He was of course well aware that he was just insulting himself.

"I'll show you what a real man can do." He was speaking of cuddling of course, nothing untoward.

"A wimp?!!" an expression of mock aghast, one hand coming to rest on her breastbone in a dramatic gesture. Of course, the devilry in her eyes spoke of her bout of silliness. Indeed, the Lorrdian Jedi merely cuddled closer.

"Not true. He is most definitely not a wimp." Kira said, defending her husband from...well her husband. That made her mouth twitch with growing humor. Already she was feeling a little bit better.

"What makes you so sure he is a wimp?" she challenged, lifting her chin a bit as she peered up at the former false god.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Well where is he?" Soliael asked, stopping just a few meters short of the bedroom.

He looked around in an exaggerated fashion.

"He's just letting another man carry his wife to bed?" He made a Tsk'ing sound. "Total wimp."

Soliael said as he crossed the threshold of the bedroom door, the hatch sealing shut behind them.

"You don't remember?" Kira would cry out in mock surprise. As if she couldn't believe what he was saying. She even added an exaggerated and dramatic gasp. A poke of his cheek followed with the pad of her finger.

"Well see he bumped his head rather hard against this crystal cave's wall." Kire explained, becoming more elaborate with the tale as she continued. " I was using and abusing him so much that he just hit his head far too many times." they came to the bed, where Devin hovered for a moment with Kira's petite body over it.

"And then he just forgot he was married to me!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

"pfff." Soliael blew a puff off air through his lips.

His head shook.

"That sounds unlikely." He told her. "I'm a doctor."

The lying continues. "I know for a fact you're making that story up entirely."

He shook his head slowly, as if he were disappointed in her. His arms dropped out from under her, letting Kira fall onto the plush comfort of their bed.

"Trying to cover for your absent husband." His fingers floated over her, gently, pulling at the robes that adorned her. "Shameful, Miss Talith."

" You are no doctor--OMPH!" the petite Lorrdian gave a muffled laughing cry as she went bouncing upon the sea of blankets. Her protests turned to giggles when her husband tugged at her robe, the woman gently bumping his leg as if to push him away with the pad of her foot.

" Hey! This isn't a physical test! A doctor wouldn't do this!" she cried, booping and swatting at his hands playfully. All of a sudden, there was mischief in her blue eyes. Within seconds, the Lorrdian went reaching out for Devin's wrists. Using all her strength, she attempted to bring him tumbling down on the bed beside her. Impish giggles would echo within the chamber, the blonde preparing to snuggle up tight against her beloved.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"How dare you!" Soliael said as he went tumbling onto the soft plush of their bed, bouncing once or twice due to his weight.

"I have a degree from Coruscant Medical School." Which of course didn't exist. "I graduated with highest honors!"

Again, not true.

Soliael hadn't even attended a primary school, much less university. In most academic circles he would probably be ridiculed for lack of degree, his opinions and all the knowledge he had amassed would be seen as little to nothing but speculation. Of course that didn't mean what he knew was false in some way, after all he had been the god of knowledge for years. "You will pay for such accusations!"

As Kira pressed up against him his fingers came down against her inner thigh, lightly rolling over her skin to begin tickling her.

"Prove it!" the blonde challanged with a cackle, lifting her chin and wiggling within the bedsheets. Of course, that quickly turned into a squeal of protest when Soliael's fingers went dancing across her skin. They managed to find the sensitive parts of her body, across scars left behind his late sister Nemene and tickled her furiously.

Kira's laughter could quickly turn into a giggle snort fest, and it was to no surprise when she began to writhe, squirm and try to wiggle away from her husbands searching fingers.

"GAH~ Stop!!! Hahaha!" her protests were cut short by another half snort, more bubbly laughter welling up and out of her throat. They were like teenagers.

But maybe that was exactly what suited them best.

What had made their marriage work and last.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"No!.' He called.

His fingers slipped between her legs, continuing to tickle her inner thighs.

"Not until you admit I'm a doctor!" One hand wrapped around her wrists, holding her arms up so that she could not resist him. "I am a doctor!"

He called out to her again.

Soliael's fingers pressed in right above her knees. "Admit it!"

Kira shifted and squirmed in her attempt to get away, scarred legs littered with a webbing of pale pink lines and keloid scars. Nemene had done quite a number to the Jedi Master through the hands of a child. Even if more than twenty years has passed, there were still times that Kira would think about it. About the chain of events. Where it had brought her; where she had failed.

Perhaps she'll never quite forgive herself, but those are a personal set of demons. Much like Soliael had his own.

Yet darker thoughts were not in store for today. Instead, there was laughter and smiles. Tickles and playfulness. A time to merely enjoy each other's presence, even if it was as silly as younglings.

"NO!" she cried out, bopping him on the nose with her finger.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Yes!" Soliael insisted.

His hands quickly slipped around her, fingers latching around her wrists.

"Admit it!" His voice bellowed throughout the ship all around them. "Or I shan't release you."

His hands wrapped around her wrists, slipping her arms up and above her head in one swift motion. The comical size difference that the two of them so enjoyed really meant that Solieal had the upper hand in situations like these, had the upper hand for the past thirty years really. There was little she could do to stop him once he'd actually seized her, mostly because his weight was, on it's own, enough to completely crush her if he really wanted to.

"I'm warning you!" His other hand poked her side.

"Hey, HEY! Quit your poking, buster!" Kira cried out, attempting to move her side away from the offending finger. It didn't work as well, but then again, she wasn't really trying that hard. This was just them unwinding after the series of crazy days. Of isolated ancient Jedi temples with bloody histories and an endless array of pirates.

Her giggles waned and then she gave a sigh. "Fine. You win." the blonde said dramatically.

"I'm exhausted." her body went limp and she merely shone a smile up at Devin.

"Come on. I want to cuddle."

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Okay okay." Soliael said as he slowly released his wife.

The two of them shuffled around the bed slightly, Soliael taking off his pants and shirt, not for sexy reasons but because he thought it was weird to be in bed with clothes on. After a few more moments the two of them slipped beneath the blankets, Soliaels wide arms wrapping around Kira and pulling her close.

"We'll see what tomorrow brings." He told her quietly. "This won't be all that bad."

They were just pirates.

When Moross had its beginnings Piracy was truly one of the greatest problems facing the original three gods. It was an issue that had quickly been cut apart, quite literally, and the Crusade had managed to storm most pirate fortresses within the sectors in a matter of months.

Easy stuff.

"Alright." Kira's voice was still a bit muffled, her lips moving along his chest and snuggling in close. As she was wont to do, she threw and slid her right leg over his own. Her foot then went curling around his leg, drawing him in closer. Arms went snaking along his flank, the palm of her small hand falling flat at the small of his back.

Snuggling in, surrounded by his warmth was the best feeling. Here she felt safe. She felt loved. Felt as if there was nothing in the galaxy that she wouldn't be able to do. Her heart seemed to swell, and she gave a content sigh. Tension eased from her body, the silly heightened senses from the tickle session already fading.

"Tomorrow will be better."

Soliael stood on the hangar deck of their ship, his hands diligently patching one of the holes that had been poked into the side of their shuttle during their escape.

They were due to arrive on that other world in just a few hours, and Soliael had decided to take the time and try to fix what he could on the ship. It didn't really matter since the thing was still more than flight ready, but he wasn't about to sit around and do nothing while this thing kept looking like crap. You could either have nice things and look after them, or you could have some garbage. Soliael had tried to teach his children that lesson, and he stuck to it himself when he could.

"Almost done." He told Kira who was holding one of the metal panels in place for him. "Just have to..."

He trialed off as the metal snapped into place.

"There we go." He said with a smile.

The patch was far from perfect, but it looked a hell of a lot nicer than just a hole in the ship.

"Still trying to be a handy man?" The familiar voice of his wife would drift behind the tall, former false God with an ample amount of humor. The blonde would have her hair up in a ponytail, the fringe of her blonde bangs tickling the tips of her lashes. She likely needed a trim. The length itself for the rest of her hair had long since grown to the middle of her back.

She was dressed comfortably and visibly less stress than she had the day prior. How long that would remain would depend on just what the day would bring. More pirates or not.

"How is she?" Kira inquired, strolling up alongside her husband. Arms came up to cross over her chest, pausing for a moment while she let her eyes sweeps over the hull of their shuttle with a discerning eye.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"She's alright." Soliael said with a shrug. "None of the engines or critical systems were damaged."

Kira already knew that of course.

"Just isn't as pretty." He patted the side of the ship. The Shuttle wasn't anything special really, just an old ship that could ferry them from The Freya to the surface of whatever planet they were on. Technically they didn't even need the shuttle. The Freya could land in any atmosphere, having actually been specifically made to do so. It was just a bit more difficult because finding a place to park a two hundred and fifty meter ship was much more difficult than putting down a fifteen meter one.

They would be good in case of emergency, but he'd rather have the shuttle.

"That's alright though." He turned to Kira. "You'll just have to settle with the ugly option again."

He wrapped an arm around her. "Just like with your husband."

"A few scars won't harm her much," Kira added, reaching up to check up on the holes and dings that Soliael had been patching.

A big snort followed his commentary; as if that were true. Devin had the annoying, frustrating type of genetics that would slow his aging and keep him in his prime for a long, long time. The Lightside of the Force might extend her life, but it wouldn't even be a dent within the longevity that the former false god would have.

"As if, big guy," Kira added, clucking her tongue and giving him a slight punch to his upper arm.

"I've seen the way other women oogle you!" with a teasing flash of teeth in a wide grin, the Lorrdian took a step around her husband to head inside of the shuttle. A few diagnostics checks wouldn't be a bad idea before they took off.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Thats usually just pity." Soliael said with a sad shake of his head.

He followed after her onto the ship.

As far as he could tell everything was fine with the Vessel, though there was no better way of finding out than running a quick diagnostic. He glanced towards the corner of the shuttle, frowning for just a moment before shooting a look to Kira.

"They all wonder how such an uggo ended up with such a galactic beauty." He shook his head sadly. "Its a good thing I knew how to trick you."

He glanced towards the system then got serious for a second. "Check the aft wings"

For some reason those felt off to him.
