Wake Up

Soliael wrapped his arms around her almost immediately. It wasn't even something he had to think about anymore, around Kira Soliael basically became an anti-gravity pack. His arms locked around her pulling her against him to steady her where she was.

It was a reaction.

There wasn't any thought behind it, simply a grin and a pace of action.

He had known this would be a shock to her. Soliael had given her many things. The necklace, the surgery, but this was something else. This was a multi-million credit home on what many considered to be a paradise world. It was different, it was tangible. Soliael grasped her, holding her close and laughing.

He was laughing!

LAUGHING!

Okay, so the sudden mushy feeling she was getting from his earlier spike of interest would get shoved to the side in mock indignation. Granted, her almost fall resulted in the lock of her legs around his waist, tightening her grip. Oh there was never a doubt that he would catch her. There was a knowing in that.

Right now, however, Kira couldn't help but smack him on the arm because he just wouldn't stop laughing!

"You little -- " his amusement could be felt rocking over to her in waves, and while she could very well control herself due to the necklace, his mirth was just as infectious as always with or without the ring. This was something that made them closer, perhaps a bit more intimate. That ability to laugh at each other, and more importantly, at one self.

The slight stretch of her body had put a bit of strain on her stitches, but it wasn't too bad. Just a friendly reminder. Either way, she was too busy smacking him in feint pique.

"That isn't funny!"

Granted, it probably would have held more weight had she'd not been saying it half laughing herself.

"Stop joking around you big lug!"

“It is not a joke my love.” Soliael said pulling back from her slightly, though ensuring that his grip remained firmly on her.

There were a few things he joked about, but this was not one of them. This home was not just for Kira, but it was for himself, and something else that he had been mulling about, something he would speak to her about very soon. The manor would not be complete just yet, Soliael intended to make a few additions, necessary ones, but it would all belong to Kira, all of it.

He knew that much.

“This.” Soliael moved one hand, watching her carefully, then gesturing to the manor, the island, everything. “Is yours.”

“The island, the house, and a little bit of the ocean around it. It's all yours.” He had specifically marked it so. Legally, according to the government here, Kira Liadain was the owner of this island. It would be a big shock to her, it would be the biggest thing she'd ever owned.

But it was for their future.

Kira couldn't quite believe it. In fact, she was still kinda half shocked half mid bemused laughter.

"Wh... why would you do that?!" she'd exclaim at him. Her eyes were so wide and bright blue. A shade as oceanic as the waves that would crash on the beach behind her.

Her hands would push against his chest, looking up at him in dawning comical realisation.

"I don't need a house!" she'd protest, not that she wasn't grateful... just that for one so poor as Kira, the thought of owning something like this was just -- mindblowing.

Soliael looked at her, making sure to maintain a careful, but soft grip on her hips so she did not fall off of the bannister.

Some would call him paranoid for that, but Soliael knew well enough that his lover had a tendency of falling down, and even though there was soft white sands below them, they were still two stories up. It was quite a fall, and with Kira the way she currently was, Soliael wasn't going to be taking any chances. He was ready to dive at a moments notice.

“No, you don't.” Soliael said with a smile.

There was amusement still playing through the bond, though suddenly a spike of seriousness jutted through it.

“But our children might.” It was a bomb to drop, but through the ring Kira would know just how much Soliael meant it.

Kira would blink.

The grin would linger, but her eyes would take on a slow serious shift. Her jaw fell, mouth half parted open in between sending him a teasing quip and suddenly struck with shock.

Now that was a doozy of a statement. Yet through their bond, she could tell he was quiet serious.

Her mouth would close - no sense in letting a fly in - and she took a moment to look at him. Really, really, really read his expression. The unwavering orange eyes, the lingering smile, and the slight note of hope that lay deeper therein.

"... like.. kids?" Kira would repeat, as if she wasn't quite hearing him correctly. "Our kids?"

Considering everything she'd gone through and how she'd been raised in the jedi order, she hadn't really ever given that much of a possibility. Not to mention, she had sunk into the thought of never having them after -- well... that all came about. Then she got sick.

But now....

She didn't even realize that her fingers were lightly dribbling in slight nervousness, apprehension, and a might bit of confusion.

She didn't quite know what to say. Funny, that's when her stitches started to itch. A reminder of what could be.

Possibilities.

"... you want...." a slight pause, a scrunch of her brow, and then a rather half quiet and thoughtful voice, her head would drop a bit, then pick up to look at him, ".. to have kids?"

She nibbled her lower lip, tugging at the soft pink flesh.

"With me?"

Soliael paused for a few moments.

This wasn't the first time it had been brought up, but the first time that Soliael had mentioned having actual children with her. It hadn't been a possibility before, but now? Now it could happen, they could do it, if she wanted to. It was always up to her.

Everything was.

Soliael wanted children, to continue his family.

Yet if Kira did not desire it, then it would not be so. Such was his love for her, he would give her everything that she wanted, everything that she could dream of, everything that she could desire. It was how he was. She could ask for a moon, and he would deliver her seven. Soliael looked at her, twin suns staring into icy glaciers.

“I do.” His hands would tighten on her slightly, vulnerability would peak through the bond.

A feeling not often shown by Soliael.

Kira Talith

It would start slow.

Kira is a Lorrdian, and by that an expressive woman. Their time together had given Soliael the ability to read his lover with an intimacy only Lorrdian's could have. So when he simply would confirm with those two little words, Kira's face would gingerly start to brighten.

Children with Devin? A daughter with his eyes? A son with his confidence?

Much like the morning would peek a slow warming smile after a storm, Kira's entire expression would take on a shy hopeful and joyful note.

Her fingers would curl slight indents on his arms, legs tightening slightly about his hips. And she simply would beam affection out as she said in a soft but excited voice.

"Okay." she'd breathe out in a sunny smile.

His featured softened, his grip on her hips relax, and within him grew a desire for her stronger than he had ever felt.

Soliael looked to her, his eyes swallowing her whole, his gaze looking down at her, his body pulling against her, his legs becoming somewhat shaky and his fingers softly curling at her sides. He smiled at her, and her entire being began to call to her, sing to her, want her.

It was like nothing he had ever felt before.

He kissed her.

Kira Talith

Her smile would melt into his kiss, tasting like saltwater taffy and just as salty sweet. Warmth, need, and desire would flood and overwhelm her in its heady cocktail. His. Hers. Just here, together. The emotional high Kira got from Soliael now was enough to make her believe she'd fly to cloud nine and beyond.

They'd melt into each others arms, and one would wonder where one would start and end with just how tightly she'd wrap her arms around his shoulders, drawing him near.

She couldn't help it after all, for every action and every motion would convey this;

I love you.

And what could be more fulfilling than bringing to the 'verse a physical representation of a blend of the other. There would be more to talk about of course, but for now...

Kira simply sank into his arms.

Soliael held her.

It would take time before they could try, weeks, maybe days if they used the force to heal her. They could do that if they really wanted to. There would be no adverse effects, and the need they both felt now, the desire for one another would likely demand that it happen. Right now though, Soliael didn't care.

He was simply enjoying the moment.

The former Sith Lord, the Former God, was happier than he had ever been.

Who knew that all he needed was a tiny Jedi Master?

He backed off from her for a few seconds, kissing her on the forehead and reaching back with one arm to reach behind himself. He unhooked her legs one at a time, still holding her, then grasped her and lifted her slightly, spinning her around on the bannisters so that she could face the ocean breeze. His arms pulled around her, gently crossing her stitches.

A salty wind pushed against them, the crashing of waves resonating against the sands.

Kira Talith

Kira would snuggle up against him, her arms sliding over the lightly hair dusted arms of her beloved, embracing him over his. The soft cry of seagulls would break the sound of crashing waves. Her fingertips would lightly doodle over his hand, her mind racing despite the calm of being in his arms.

She was excited. With that excitement brought more questions.

A child. Their child!

Her teeth would nibble over the fullness of her lip. Finally she'd ask, " How soon? "

In the back of her mind, while there was relative peace here, war would paint the 'verse a bloody hue.

Did they want to bring a child into that?

He rested his chin upon her shoulder, his arms wrapping around her, maintaining that careful hold so that she did not fall.

“When you are well again.” Soliael did not care about the war, he did not care about the battles or the Soldiers dying. He cared about Kira, he cared about their future, others didn't matter, others could take a back seat. He would protect what he had. The thought of the Jedi, of the war, it never even crossed his mind. “We wouldn't want you hurting yourself.”

Soliael said, fingers curling across her abdomen in a tickling way.

They would definitely have to wait for her to heal.

Kira Talith

She'd tilt back her head, looking up at him with a faint grin curling her lips. Impish mischief would sparkle in her eyes. She'd give a slight giggle at the tickling sensation of his fingers over her belly.

" So anxious to be a daddy there?" she'd tease him, her right hand sliding up from its perch on his arm. Her palm would go caressing his cheek, feeling the bristles of his beard tickle her skin. The hem of his shirt she wore would inch higher.

" What, you already have names picked out?" she's tease.

“I will leave the names up to you my love.” Soliael said as his hands drifted upon her.

Was he eager?

He didn't really know. All he knew was that he wanted this. He wanted it for her, he wanted it for himself. Was that not enough? Soliael knew that she was only teasing, but it was a thought to him. Did he have to ascribe something else to this? No. He wanted it. That was enough, it didn't matter how much or how soon. Simply that he did.

“I'm sure you'll be better at it.” His voice rumbled. “Though. There is another question of name.”

He smiled.

Perhaps it was time for two bombshells today. He wondered if Kira could handle that.

Kira Talith

"careful, might end up with..." She'd give a feint expression of deep thought.

"Ringo!" Devilry was in her minx of a gaze, her bare legs swinging over the railing to and fro. At his subsequent phrasing, kira would arch her brows up into the fringe of her bangs in query. She could feel through the bond another curious surge of pensive seriousness.

"Hmm?" She'd hum out expectantly. "What is it?" She'd ask, her nails gently scratching his jaw, enjoying the bristle of his beard.

He smiled.

“Your own.” Soliael said, almost a song in his voice. “Liadain.”

There was a slight hint of amusement in his tone, though not because of her name. He knew that to her, it didn't mean all that much. The circumstances on which she had received them were nothing special or meaningful to her, it was simply a name.

For Soliael however names were important, certain names denoted things, told stories and what you really were, what you were a part of. Kira was a part of him now, a part of his family. “You may have to change it when we get married.”

Kira Talith

Well at least this time he had his arms around her to avoid any potential drop of balance. Either way, her jaw fell again. Then closed. Then fell again.

"Wait wha---" she would start blinking rapidly, half turning to look at him -- which was likely very precarious considering she was sitting on top of the railing.

"Married? Like ..." a finger would point from him to her and then back again. "Wait -- what do you mean when?!"

Her expression would shift from shock, to a slight bit of panic, back to confusion. What did he mean when?!

Was he joking around with her? She'd turn up her face to look at him; she'd caught the amusement earlier and it still lingered.

Did she completely miss the part where she'd been asked?

. . .

Was she highly medicated at the time? Highly possible...

“Well!” He sounded incredulous.

“I mean if you hate me that much.” There was of course no real hurt or insult in his voice, no real emotion of damage. That would have been silly, but that didn't mean that he couldn't play around. His grip loosened on her, and he took a step back as if he was about to leave.

Of course, he had known somewhat that this would be her reaction.

Yet he had still done it.

There was a reason for that. Kira was everything to him, she was his all. Without her he was nothing but a shell. To him it was not a question of if it was a question of when. She meant that much to him, she meant everything, and he knew that for her it was the same.

Kira Talith

Her hands would instantly reach out to hold him fast.

"Oh no you don't McSparky!" Kira would exclaim, dragging him back over to her. "You don't drop that kind of a thermal on me and expect to walk away with your dejected saunter!"

She'd spin and twist round on the railing so her back was the the beach again. Her legs would dangle for a moment, before she would hop off so she wouldn't randomly fall back again. Her height sank as all five feet of her stood before her beloved dressed in only his shirt.

Her hands would come to rest over his bare chest, fingers curling in slightly. Tipping her head back, she drank the sight of him, searching his expression.

"And yeah, clearly I hate you so much that I'll agree to have kids with you," she'd say in a faint quip of playful banter, "Oh no... I said 'kids', plural... can you feel the hate inside me?"

Well she always had a flair for the dramatic.
