Wake Up

He smiled. “No.”

Those had been an utter wreck, a ruin. They were still in the closet in her room, but they weren't really anything that she would wear, or should wear for that matter. He smiled at her, and looked down with that same amusement in his eyes.

“Take the clothes in your bedroom.” He said quietly. “There's a bag there, as well as another small gift.”

He still owed her after all.

Kira Talith

"Okay," she would concede, although it was with a bit of a somberness to it. Every article of clothing she could call her own has always been treated with the best care possible. For one with so little, Kira made sure that she could get as much life as she could from her garments.

Nonetheless, her ears would perk at the mention of another gift? The expression on her face would relay that he didn't have to do that. That he had already given her enough. However, she would be able to tell that there wouldn't be any arguing over the fact. That he wanted to dote on her was his prerogative, and because he wanted to.

Tippy toes would draw her up, and her face would lift to his. The soft press of her lips would brush lightly.

"I'll go get ready."

What she would find in her room of course was a pair of soft leather boots. They had been custo made in Exocra by the best leatherworker in the city, and had been made to fit her perfectly. They were probably the best shoes anyone could ever own, and were designed to be comfortable, but also functional.

Soliael would leave Kira to discover the boots on her own, and would instead colelct her some twenty minutes later.

After finding her he lead her towards the second level of the Fortress where they found a large hangar bay. Within the hangar sat a massive sleek looking ship, black empty wings extending from it and seemingly have no engines what so ever. The ramp that lowered from the back of it seemed to float rather than be held up by any discernible struts.

Soliael smiled down at Kira.

“We should get to Ossus in three days.” That was by all accounts remarkably quick, faster than most ships could make it.

Kira Talith

Nine toes would wiggle in comfort within the confines of her amazing new leather boots. She had promptly thanked him with another kiss and a hug once he had picked her up, and while it held a note of melancholy, there was joy to it as well. He'd remembered. In that she made a promise that she would take absolutely the best care of them!

Stepping alongside him, her blue eyes would sweep over the black ship, eyes widening at that bit of knowledge. "Three days?" That seemed almost unlikely, but there was no lie in his voice.

"So fast?" She would rock on her heels before taking a step towards it. "Just what do you fuel this thing with to make it so fast?" she'd ask, giving a half twist on the pad of her boot so as to turn to him anew. Here she came with her familiar, and perhaps reckless, backward walk.

He gave her a flat look. “Jedi.”

Then walked off onto the ramp of the ship, grinning of course.

The ship itself was nearly one hundred and fifty meters long, the body of it contained everything one might need from refreshers to an entertainment room. The Ship itself was simply called The Manta and with its black wavy design it was very fitting. The Ship was crewed by ten individuals, each one trusted by Soliael with the knowledge of who he really was.

It was a new ship, having replaced Soliaels old one the Freya.

The one unique thing about the vessel aside from its appearance was the fact that it had absolutely no weapons to speak of. Instead it relied on a considerable amount of speed and maneuverability as well as highly advanced sensors and hyperdrive to make its way through the galaxy.

A rather unlady like snort would be heard, followed by the quip, "We have no meat on our bones there Lord Keeper," she'd drawl out, "You clearly are not getting your credit's worth."

Up the ramp she went, still walking backwards. Really a bad idea. Especially considering one rather broad shouldered individual was on top of said ramp awaiting their arrival. One of Soliael's own.

However, Kira saw none of this too busy being snarky. Really, she had been used to this Fortress being seemingly empty save for she and he. Needless to say, she was too quick instep and would likely soon find herself bumping against a broad armored chest of a Crusader.

The crusader put his arms out to and grasped Kira by the shoulders gently so that she would not run into him. He had an amused look on his face. The man looked to be in his early fifties, graying spots of hair on his temples and white peppered throughout his beard. He looked gruff, but kind. Soliael knew the man well from his days in the Sith Empire, and he greeted him warmly.

“Nien, hands off, she's mine.” There was no anger in his tone, only a simple playfulness.

The gruff man unhanded Kira almost immediately.

“Pardon, didn't know we could just go about claiming women.”

The man grunted, but smiled at Soliael. Clearly the two had a sort of banter going about, a friendship. Nien had been part of a detachment of Stormtroopers that traveled with Soliael. They had been utterly loyal to him, and only him. Soliael had contracted their services early on when he joined the Empire, and when he left they had accompanied him. Since then they had all grown in one way or another, and Nien had proven to be Soliaels most trusted Pilot and Captain.

Surprise would take Kira as large weathered hands would balance her before letting her go. Blue eyes would widen as her head would tilt back, clearly not expecting to see another face so relatively soon.

"Oh!" she' would immediately give a sheepish grin. "Hi. Sorry... about that." she would take a couple of steps back, adjusting herself so she could face Nien. He was tall and broad shouldered, wearing regular clothing more apt of an old timer spacer than anything to spiffy. Curious.

A glance over at Soliael would give a question on just who else might be here.

Nonetheless, a sunny smile at the ready and ever friendly, Kira would extend her small hand to Nien. "I'm Kira, " she'd wink, then in a lower voice full of mischievousness., "I just go along with what he says. " in reference to the claiming. She was apt to make light banter it was clear.

"Nice to meet you."

Nien smiled at Kira, and then took her tiny hand in a large leather gloved covered one. He looked kind, the sort of man you'd sit with while smoking a pipe and telling stories.

“This is Nien.” Soliael said. “He's been my pilot for some years now. Captains my ships and makes sure they're all ready when I need them.”

Soliael patted the man on the shoulder, who simply nodded in affirmation.

“If you please my lady, were ready to depart when you board.”

Letting go of Kira's hand Nien waved Kira and Soliael aboard, smiling at Kira and giving a Nod to Soliael before departing from their company. The man had important things to tend to, like flying the Manta off of Exocron. The Vessel was not a known one, and flying through the mountains was rather difficult, even with repulsorlifts.

Soliael slipped an arm around Kira's waist and brought her onto the ship.

Kira Talith

Soliael's arm at her waist would tug her inside. Her hand would reach to rest on top of it, giving it an unconscious squeeze in affection. She was an affectionate woman by nature, and the Lorrdian in her only fanned it a hundred fold. Her desire to constantly touch and gesture was evident in everything she did, and with Soliael it would be no less.

"So will I get the two credit tour?" she'd ask with a crooked grin up at him, trying her best to keep a level of cheer about. It was best to focus on the time she had with Soliael. Not at what would come after. This is where she would cherish what time they had in the now.

"Who else will I be bumping into?"

“You will.” Soliael said as he lead them towards the forward section of the ship. It was best that she drop her things there first, then they could see the rest of the vessel. Together they moved, and it felt nice. It was an oddity, the two of them shifting and jumbling about the center of a vessel like this, moving together as a couple, the Jedi and the God.

He smirked at that.

Then addressed her second question. “There are nine others. All people I trust, all know who I really am.”

That was important, so she didn't need to worry about slipping up with his identity.

“They all used to be stormtroopers, part of the old Sith Empire.” He explained to her as they moved passed what appeared to be a kitchen, the floor beneath them shaking slightly. “When I left, they left with me. Ever since they have served me well.”

That was all the explanation needed really, though she could always ask for more.

Kira Talith

Well that was one less worry if they knew exactly who he was. It also brought to mind that these were men who have known Soliael far longer than she. Bits and pieces of his past that were not part of her memory. Odd how that worked out. She didn't have much to go on with what the meld revealed to her, but she knew well that it had been a timeline prior to his trek to the Sith Empire.

Her mind would lightly race at that.

As they made their trek, the ship would slowly start to rumble. Therein came the low pitched whine of the engines starting. She would shift her small satchel of belongings to one hand. In it was a few changes of clothing, the box he had given her necklace in, and a few toiletries. Nothing overly fancy. She personally wore something pretty casual, granted it was more suited for the cold weather of Exocron down to the slight furred hooded jacket. At her hip however, would be the red and white speckled horn of the ice monster. She had taken the time to clean the horn and use it as her new saber hilt.

The corridor would bend, sending them past a medical bay. "Guess you just have that way about you," she'd say, giving him a faint grin.

"Follow the leader type deal. Were you good at playing that when you were a kid?"

“Well, when I was a kid, there was another leader around.” Soliael said quietly as they finally reached the bedroom.

He figured at this point they didn't need separate rooms, and the bed was large enough for both of them, though he suspected even a cot would have been large enough for the two of them together. He smiled slightly at that. Were they already that close? Already so in love that a floor was good enough for them?

Soliael glanced over to her.

He certainly thought so.

The room was rather plain, much like the one in the fortress. It contained a bed, a desk, and communications table. That was it. He smiled and directed her into the room, which undoubtedly had as many hidden secret as the one in the fortress.

Kira Talith

Kira would flash him a smile, moving on ahead of him into the room. It had the same similar spartan like quality to it. Bare essentials. Not that she was complaining, she was well used to that herself.

Granted, what small knickknacks she did collect in her various wanderings - like pretty rocks, minerals, and crystals because they are free! - did decorate her shelf back on Ossus.

She would go straight to the cabinet, where a quick unlatch would open it up to allow her to set her bag inside. She would close the door and secure it there after. Didn't need things falling about during their flight, even with artificial gravity.

"You're mother I take it?" she'd flash at him, walking back to him. She came to a halt just before him, tilting her head back to meet his gaze.

He nodded his head.

It was a simple enough answer, when he had been a kid Quietus had always lead. Oh there had been adventures where Soliael had pointed them in the direction, but always Quietus had been in charge. It was simply the way of things, mostly it had been done cause he had been so young. Quite honestly he not had any friends growing up.

Not because he was anti-social, though he did generally think that people were fools, but because his family traveled the galaxy about as regularly as flowers grew in an open field.

He had never had time for friends that followed him.

It was an odd thing to think about really, especially when Kira was there. She had not had a family growing up, and he had not had friends. A strange counter-balance they were to each other. He smiled at her, planting a kiss on her brow. “Would you like to see the rest of the ship? Or Join the sixty two mile high club?”

Kira Talith

"The what?" the most comical befuddled look would wash over her face at the latter question. Her brows would furrow into a slight frown. She was all for getting her two credit tour, but the last offer certainly confused her.

"You have a club? Is it like a cantina?" clearly for the Jedi, she had no true idea on what the innuendo meant. She would flick her bangs off of her face after he kissed her forehead, sending them flying in all kinds of different directions.

He grinned at her, it was a silly grin, but one that spoke of mischief and ill intent. Through the bond of the ring Kira would sense a flaring of desire within him, a slight spark of need, and want, that rushed through Soliael all of a sudden.

“No.” His hands came up and gripped her by the hips. “More of an exclusive group, that currently has no members.”

Soliael pulled Kira close to him, pressing his own body up against hers.

Kira Talith

There was a smoldering in his eyes that joined the devilry in them, and their nearby proximity through the ring made Kira's give a quick intake of breath.

"No members at all?" she would ask in a low murmur as both of his hands skimmed down to her hips, urging her closer until there was no space between them. Granted by then, her body would be straining towards his like a static charge that drew her in.

"So how do you join this club?" her own fingers would start to wander, ever becoming aware of just what lay in their surroundings. The bed was to her right, the door already had hissed shut. A thrum of energy would ripple through her. Anticipation? Perhaps. Her body had been subsequently encouraged to react to this man and this man alone. It was no wonder that feeling his need and want spark through him would fan her own.

Tippy toes would rise, and she would curl her fingers against his chest, "And what are the benefits?"

His thumbs wound their way into the lining of her pants, his hands slowly pulling them down off of her hips. Thank god they were slightly too big for her.

“It's actually very simple.” He interrupted himself by leaning down and planting a kiss on her lips, his own forming into a wide grin against hers. “There's just a few tests that I'll have to put your through.”

Fabric dropped, and his hands slid across her skin to her read, lifting her off the ground. “As for benefits. There are many.”

He began to laugh as they crashed down into the bed.

Kira Talith

A squeal of laughter would resonate within the chamber, both bodies bouncing upon the bed. Blue eyes would darken as his hands would smooth up her waist on the bed, bare legs sliding against his.

"Is there a cheat sheet?" she would ask in the midst of soft laughter, his mischievousness inciting her own. Kira loved that shirt on him, it really set apart his eyes. Off it went.

She also loved the way his pants fit his figure, more so as the sinewy muscles of his abdomen flexed at her touch after tracing a happy trail south. Off those went too.

He gathered her into his arms and kissed her, one hand tangled in her blonde hair and the other caressing down her back. Anticipation climbing faster than it had minutes ago. Was this the ring? Perhaps. It was a heady combination of she and he in her mind. Desire. Need. Love. Everything was so overwhelming, heightening her senses beyond what she already felt.

Kira would lift her head to capture his mouth, a notable wide grin on her face as she did so. Her last coherent thought, as Soliael took his time kissing and touching every part of her could reach and her body arched into his, was

Oh . . . so this is what all the club fuss is about.
