- Lignan Crystal: The Lignan Crystal used in the Lightsaber allows it to cut faster and burn hotter than a regular Kyber Crystal.
- Blood of Copero: The Blood of Copero crystal within the Lightsaber amplifies the Lignan Crystal's cutting power exponentially, allowing it an advantage, and the ability to cut through materials typically considered lightsaber resistant such as Beskar, Phrik, Songsteel and Cortosis, with difficulty.
- End game: The Blood of Copero Crystals were synthetically forged and each one begins to degrade almost immediately after it's first use. Although the crystals have a half life of over four years they will eventually deplete their power supply. Once a crystal has reached it's half life stage it will begin to deteriorate, which can cause their remaining power supply to become unstable and more prone to explosion upon damage.
- Curved-Hilt: The curved design of the saber's hilt makes it nigh impossible to wield with two hands, and simply impractical to use in an over-aggressive manner.
The Lightsaber is a trademarked stereotype of a trained Force User, to the point some would say it is impossible to find a wielder of the Force without such a weapon. As such, it would be impractical for Lord Marshal Taramaz Arcturus to take on an apprentice without a lightsaber. With a supply of good will and whiskey, the Lord Marshal set to work at the forge, shaping the unmalleable Songsteel into a curved hilt to house the circuitry, crystals and other various components of a lightsaber. In memorandum to the long-dead political leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Count Dooku, and to complement his apprentice's lightsaber form, the hilt was made to the style of the aforementioned Count.
After Lord Arcturus had assembled the lightsaber through the Force, he ignited the blade, which glistened black as the void of space. The blade was promptly tested on unfortunate training droids, which found themselves in several pieces courtesy of the newly forged saber.
