STRENGTHS
  • Highly to most physical attacks including blasters and lightsabers
  • Provides hearing protection to Vulpesen’s sensitive ears
  • Provides additional vision modes in case of darkness or other obscurements
  • Provides an additional air supply in case of a hostile environment
  • Provides an easily accessed comm system to keep Vulpesen in touch with his allies
  • Internal Systems are protected from EMP attacks meant to disable them
WEAKNESSES
  • Small area of coverage. The mask only Protects Vulpesen’s face
  • Sonic Dampeners are only really effective on loud noises. An actual sonic attack (Ie. Sonic Blaster) will easily overwhelm it.
  • Little to no protection against concussive blasts and elemental attacks beyond what a metal plate would provide.
  • No neck stabilization. While Vulpesen’s face might be protected from an attack, he’s still subject to whiplash'
  • While the mask will protect against bullet penetration, a solid shot to the head can still knock Vulpesen out or give him a concussion.
DESCRIPTION
Originally made as a durasteel mask to hide Vulpesen’s identity during his days in the army of light, Vulpesen’s fox faced mask has undergone many changes over its decades of service. Eventually changing from silver to gold in color when it was reconstructed to be made of phrik, Vulpesen has also added multiple systems to the mask such as a comlink, thermal/NVG vision, and sonic dampeners to help protect his Zorren hearing. While certainly useful with its multiple facilities and uses, Vulpesen’s mask has become as much a symbol as it is a tool, having been integrated into every armor he has ever worn.

Hello, I shall be handling this today

FIrst we will start with the easy one. You are three points over and will need to reduce.

  • Manufacturer: Vulpesen Torrevaso, VSF, Republic Manufacturers
  • Affiliation: Vulpesen Torrevaso
These will need links, character bio for characters and company pages for companies/factions

Impervious to most physical attacks including blasters and lightsabers
Wording is important and nothing on chaos is immune, impervious ect ect. Everything can eventually be damaged. So this will need a small rewording

Let me know when edits are done

I managed to lower it two points. As for that third point, I'm gonna ask for consideration that this is a mask. All that amazing protection is in the face region alone, and while the mask might be extremely resistant to being smacked by a baseball bat(like any well tempered metal plate), Vulpesen's spinal cord is not so resistant to the whiplash which is mentioned in the weaknesses.

Links added where possible (Republic Faction is kinda long dead)
Reworded to highly resistant.

Vulpesen Vulpesen apologies this was just pointed out to me

  • Energy: (And other Blaster type weapons) How much protection does the armor provide against this type of damage?
  • Kinetic: How much protection does the armor provide against this type of damage?
  • Lightsabers: How much protection does the armor provide against this type of damage?
  • Other: How much protection does the armor provide against this type of damage? (Examples: Sonic, EMP/ION, Elemental. You must disclose each specific type that applies to this submission with its own rating.)

  • Energy: Extreme
  • Lightsaber: Extreme
  • Ballistic: High
  • Blades: High
  • Concussive: Low
  • Sonic: Low
  • Elemental: Low

Kinetic is designed to cover ballistic and concussive impact. As well as melee as material can determine strength of the cut. So having three ratings for the same thing is not done and will throw your ratings off. As it stands with this

Energy: Extreme
Kinetic: Average
Lightsaber: Extreme
Sonic: Low
Elemental: Low

Would be perfectly balanced and something to look at.

should you need to or want to please use the Technology Spreadsheet provided under armor to see what kind of balance you want but it will need to be a green balanced.
