The Vulcan began life as a prototype heavy slugthrower machinegun for Noah's personal company, Hekler'Kok Defense Industries, to market as a vehicle mounted or fortification weapon. The plug was pulled on the project, to the dismay at some, when easier and cheaper solution were found to some of the mass production problems it would have. When Noah was commissioned by Yasha to create a slugthrower for her he had many thoughts pass through his head but eventually settled on using this as what he would present to Yasha.
Taking the original design he modified it to a high degree. The original components of durasteel and other less metals were replaced with Noah's personal alusteel-titanium alloy, hammer forged quadanium steel and chromium and to add a little Mandalorian flare to the weapon he made the grip, charging handle and carrying handle out of veshok wood.
Continuing on the improvement of the prototype he added many features that were considered too complicated for mass productions. A quick change barrel system in case of overheating or the need for a longer or shorter barrel. A top mounted optics rail in case you need to aim the weapon effectively. Ambidextrous weapon controls so one can use the weapon with either hand. And finally a heavy barrel to reduce weapon hop-up.
As his finish touches Noah added a inscription on the top of the weapon: "Bid ibac gar may strike gar aru'ese bal te aru'ese be Manda'yaim daab teh a safer chaaj."
