STRENGTHS:
- Infrared Vision - The ability to see in otherwise obscured environments.
- Limb Regeneration - Trandoshan are capable of slowly regenerating lost limbs with enough time spent in recovery.
- Apex Predator - Trandoshan are born and bred hunters with acute senses, heightened strength and reflexes as well as razor sharp claws.
- Short Lifespan - Trandoshan rarely live beyond the age of mid-fifties, to sixty Galactic Standard Years.
- Butter Fingers - Due to their large claws, Trandoshan lack dexterity in their hands and feet compared to many other sentient races.
Vrun Ryssic, as a Trandoshan, is easily distinguishable from most other cultures and species due to his green scale-covered skin, cranial crest and three large claws on both hands and feet. Unlike other reptilian species, Trandoshan do not have a tail. Other notable features are Vrun's yellow eyes, sharp teeth and significant height as he stands at seven feet, towering over most others.
BIOGRAPHY:
Vrun Ryssic was hatched on the world of Hsskhor, otherwise known to the wider Galaxy as Trandosha and located in the same sector as Kashyyyk. Vrun's earliest years were spent learning the ways of the hunt in his home city of Varic before leaving for Hsskhor where he would seek out advanced training and take part in hunting parties to honour the Scorekeeper, the Trandoshan Goddess of the Hunt.
Among their culture, Trandoshan are seen as younglings until having reached the age of eleven, following that, the age of adulthood until the age of fifteen; At thirteen years of age however, Vrun Ryssic had grown tired of remaining on their homeworld so close to Kashyyyk and within a controlled sector of space governed by the Silver Jedi Concord, they who would make it difficult for hunting parties to capture or kill their prey, especially their greatest of rivals, the Wookiees.
In a bid to prove himself and to honour the Scorekeeper, Vrun Ryssic would look to the wider Galaxy, determined to overcome the most dangerous of adversaries in the thrill of the Hunt.
