Orihime was watching her movements and remaining with most of her focus. The padawan was getting the hang of it and every mistake was hopefully something she wouldn't make when it counted and she was in the field. COmpared to many of the others that could go around she was checking out parts of it. Holding interest and all of their attention before she moved adjusting herself to give a better display but also allow the padawan to follow and mirrot her movements better. Just like when she and her sister worked to mess with others by doing the twin thing.

Jairdain watched every move her master made and did her best to mirror her. After what felt like an eternity, she was moving around with more grace than she had ever had at home. Of course, she still made mistakes in foot or saber placement, but accounted for them and moved on.

"Orihime, I have heard mention of various different forms. What is this one and what are the others?"

She stops in her exercises and looks at [member="Orihime Ike"]. Nothing had been fast moving or strenuous, so her breathing was fine and regular. However, Jairdain was thirsty.

[member="Jairdain"]

She was looking at her and gave a nod of her head. "Yes there are different forms, several and then some non traditional forms that others use. It all depends on what you are able to use and are wanting to learn. With a blade you have to find the style that works for you. Such as mine is Ateru, it is slightly more aggressive and requires moving around constantly. I have worked and trained it to better work on many of the things that we can do as jedi." She said it with a look on her face when she was moving and the movements were made so the padawan could follow her.

Taking a drink from a bottle of water, Jairdain listened to [member="Orihime Ike"] answer her question about the different forms and which one she preferred. She set the bottle down and picked up the training saber again.

Jairdain fell into the now familiar motion and followed along with her master.

"Which one relies more on defending? I'm not normally an aggressive fighter?"

That might be one reason she had never been good at the more acrobtic like fighting others in her class.

[member="Jairdain"]

Hmm she was looking at her. "There is two to three forms. Depending on how you want to do it. Djem So is a stationary form, allowing you to defend and conserve energy as you counter attack. There is makashi which is used to counter and duel saber wielders and then there is soresu which is powerful and made for defense. The major problem with it is that while you can have an unbreakable defense you will also suffer not having a way to stop and counter attack. Movement is key and rotations to cover everywhere around you. I would always recommend djem so over soresu. You can defend and attack as needed."

So there is a form that met both counter and counter attack. Feeling that's the correct one for her, Jairdain nods her head.

"Do you know Djem So?"

She raised her eyebrows, indicating her true interest in the question. Even if [member="Orihime Ike"] said no, at least Jairdain knew what form to ask other people to help her with.

Keeping up with her Master, Jairdain continued to follow the motions they were going through with the practice saber.

"Oh when might I get a real light saber? I've never held one personally."

[member="Jairdain"]

She was looking at her and. "Yes somewhat, I don't often use it or my saber in general for combat but I have worked to make sure I know the skills like many of the other jedi." She might not consider it her main but if she could use it then she would be able to focus and try to get it working for herself.... as to when the padawan would be able to make and use a saber well that would go a long way for what they were doing here. "For a real saber we can make one whenever you feel comfortable and would like to. We have the supplies here."

Jairdain stopped in the middle of her movements in mirroring her master and lowered her saber, looking at the young woman.

"Really? I had no idea."

She's actually shocked and surprised that all she needed to do was ask.

"What do I need to do?"

In her mind, she pictured herself as she had seen the other students in her class, floating, flying, twisting, flipping through the air.

She had a look at her and grinned. "The first step is making sur that you will be able to use the saber without maiming yourself. You need to be patient but you can look and work to gather your own supplie for it. Something that makes the saber something that will be yours." She said it while holding her saber and the blade of the rose was more like a solid rod of silver with the saber blade coming out of it. Then she activated a second blade and the telescopic hilt extended to be a bo staff. "My saber for instance can go from single to double bladed, is made to be immune to cortosis, has a sharper edge and an enhanced power cell with stronger lens. It makes it powerful and biometrics make it so only I can use it. Sometimes my mother and sisters can though but they have their own unique blades."

Jairdain returns [member="Orihime Ike"] smile and nods her head. It'll be a bit of time before she's sure she won't harm herself with a real lightsaber, so back to practice she goes.

She lets out a small mental sigh, still thinking about how she wants to be when she masters this art.

"What is required to make a lightsaber?"

Though she follows her master's motions almost exactly, Jairdain misses a step and ends up tripping over her own feet.

[member="Jairdain"]

"Parts for one, imagination, willpower and some skill. You want to understand everything that is happening in the blade and how it functions so that you can repair it, so that it will be a part of you." She said it while holding her blade and bringing it back into the proper size with one blade activated in her hand as she held it. "I spent years since I was able to go out on missions with the jedi finding my crystal with my sisters to when I was a teenager that was able to finally construct it. Ten years of gathering the supplies."

Getting back into position after losing her balance, Jairdain falls again into motion of following her master. She listens to [member="Orihime Ike"]'s story on getting the parts and constructing her own lightsaber.

"Ten years! Why so long? I mean if all the supplies are already here. Why didn't you just use them?"

[member="Jairdain"]

ehhh she just shrugged a little when she was thinking about it. "Never really had a need to make my saber until I really started learning how to be a jedi and roaming around." She was looking at her and kept the motions going until they allowed the force energies here to work on some parts of it. She held the blade out wile making it so that the padawan could follow her actions here. Her movements and her area in the room to get a small area while she moved around with a grin of her face.

"Not that I'm in any hurry or anything, but when will I start going out and do missions?"

What those missions entail Jairdain had no clue, but she kept following the motions of [member="Orihime Ike"]. Their work area and movements were getting smaller and smaller. She wondered at this, but kept quiet.

[member="Jairdain"]

Hmm well there was always a chance to do missions and go out and about. They might be able to figure out one or two things if they got lucky. No real turn about and no one to really question it. "Well you could do some missions however I would recommend that you practice and develop some skills to a good degree first." Orihime said it though with a grin on her face as she liked the idea of heading out on missions and really there was little else that would stop or bother her.

Jairdain didn't stop following the motions of her master, but considered her answer.

"Isn't it better to try and keep situations under control though and not bring violence?"

Now she did stop in her movements, lowering her training saber.

"I'm quite good at moving objects and telepathy. Though using that on somebody that doesn't use the Force is difficult."

[member="Orihime Ike"]

[member="Jairdain"]

Orihime gave a nod of her head. "Yes it is, violence should never e the first answer but there is a lot of danger in not thinking it will be something that will happen. A numbe rof jedi that I have seen and listened to talk about how jedi need to be jedi and should always seek the peaceful solution. Jedi should seek it but be prepared given the galaxy for them to just attack you. More people seem to prefer fighting out of a situation with the jedi because they know we do not seek revenge, we will turn the other cheek and try to resolve it."

Not having seen as much bad in her life, Jairdain just nods in understanding.

"Of course one should be prepared for the worst, but things have always turned out positive for me and I would never consider revenge."

She now has full control over where her feet are moving and going through the rotation again, Jairdain doesn't stumble or mess up in anyway. Smiling, she continues to mirror her master.

Orihime was looking at her and getting a small nod of her head where they would be able to go now. Jardain was learning the movements and able to follow the movement while talking. That was progress with the saber here as Orihime sped up a little and was moving into position. "You are doing well and you have an understanding of the attitude that will help jedi." She said it and was beaming with a little pride, she wasn't screwing up in most cases... which was a good thing. She was instead focusing on as she saw it what they might have and be able to get going now once in position and turning the move into a velocity styles form. To practice the saber work and let it go faster and faster. "Your aura compared to many is also helpful, less chaotic and with all of the emotions others bring."

For a moment Jairdain stopped to watch the motions of her master as she had changed them from they had been doing previously.

She blushed at the compliments [member="Orihime Ike"] gave her, but knew with certainty she was right. Jairdain smiled at her master and once she was confident she could follow the movements, she started again to mirror her.

"I might have a better head on my shoulders and a clearer mind, but I do know things can be harsh and there are times when I will need to be as well."

Laughing slightly, "I'm also very stubborn."
