DESCRIPTION
As the war between the One Sith and the Galactic Republic rages on, Sith Lord Darth Vornskr once again requested an updated suit of armor for his private paramilitary organization, the Blackblade Guard. Basing some of the design off of the previous model and ancient models utilized by the fabled Galactic Empire, Vornskr had the armor's effectiveness increased so that his soldiers would be more capable on the battlefield, and be able to take more punishment. The armor sports reinforced durasteel armor plating, as well as the traditional flame-proof armorweave bodyglove underneath, and sports all that the old model had to offer and more. Keeping with the group's namesake, the armor is painted a jet black that reflects no light, making them all the more menacing when seen on the battlefield.

One of the biggest features in this new set of armor is the range of interchangeable weapons on the left gauntlet. Only one weapon can be used at a time, and it is usually up to the personal preference of the individual soldier. With production being handled by the massive Titan Industries, this new series of armor will quickly phase out the old in the most infamous paramilitary organization known to the Galaxy.

Hey ok, do you mind doing a short dev thread since adding a flamethrower itself is significant addition to combat armor? Taking into effect the bump up in quality and how useful the grappling hook and boot spikes could be (assuming they're used for 0 G or Climbing situations) I'd like to see just a short 10 post thread at least with the creation of the armor and reasoning for improvement if that is ok.

And could I also ask for an elaboration on what the electromagnetic plates do or are for?

The flamethrower is an optional add-on, and only has a short range. Think of it like Jango Fett's wrist-mounted flamethrower from Episode II.

Same with the grappling hook, which only has the function of aiding the soldier in reaching high places, and if you would remember Episode I, the Theed soldiers in the climax of the move had grappling hooks on their weapons, and in Episode IV where Luke and Leia crossed the chasm in the Death Star.

The boot spikes are exactly what you'd think they'd be for.

So I don't really see the logical reasons on why to write a dev thread for additions already present in canon and would not require much extra explanation as to why a highly trained soldier equipped to deal with varying battlefield obstacles.

The electromagnetic plates in the gauntlets are just to provide the soldier an added hold on their weapons on the battlefield, and can attract nearby metallic objects.

While they are canon, there is plenty of things from canon that are powerful. In addition it isn't just the flamethrower as much as it is the added number of powerful weapons that would give a leg up in combat, even if you do in the end restrict it to one.

Let me give you another option then after thinking it over.

List out the fuel level (length of time the flamethrower operates) for the flamethrower, the number of missiles for the rocket attachment, and shots per charge/cell for the wrist blaster and we'll be alright. Does that sound manageable at least?

Edits have been made, and will be quoted below with changes highlighted in red;
  • Interchangeable weaponry: Concealed/Retractable Blade / Wrist-mounted blaster (The cell holds of charge of 8 shots on either burst or single-shot firing modes) / Mini-Rocket system (Individual can hold up to either 6 of either anti-personnel rockets, gas capsule rockets, or a combination of the two.) / Mini-flamethrower (Produces a cone of fire five meters in length and one meter in diameter. A single backpack canister held enough fuel for three minutes of operation.) [Left Gauntlet]
