Lord of Refuge
"I miss how things used to be..."
Jasper was a bit taken aback by the sudden emotion. Admittedly, he thought he had been a bit awkward. Maybe just the strangeness of his boy setting off to be his own man, leaving him to his own devices. Braze had always been independent, obviously, but sometimes Jasper wasn't really sure what was too much or too little now that he so regularly did his own thing. Of course, the natural end all of it was a hug, one that Jasper was careful to do with only his organic arm.
"You can come back any time you need to," Jasper stated to his son. "Maybe things are different these days, but I'll always have an open door wherever I am. Just... don't get too wound up in what you're doing out there. Visit from time to time... It'll help stave off burnout."
Jasper would then draw away and allow Braze to use Psychometric. There wasn't a lot to glean, only little instances.
A grin made up of exclusively sharp incisors, the teeth specialized for consuming meat. They were stained with the green blood indicative of a Duros. Just as soon as they would appear to Braze, they slipped away.
