- Backup (While the emergency systems can in fact save the person or creature kept within, emergency is in the name. Thus, it will only last for 24 hours before being unable to support the pod any further.)

during a lesson thanks to the hunger of the Sangnir, that she needed to make something to help feed her picky assistant. At first it was a simple idea, just needed a machine that did all the work for you, drain the blood. However, thanks to the request of
Valaine Valentine
for it to be painless and Vakhari's own desire to make more than a simple and crude tool, she had expanded the uses. Thus, VEM was born. Painless, puts them to sleep. Efficient in terms of materials and power cost, it can gather blood from many different species. Useful in ways ranging from downright evil to actually helpful for medical facilities that need specific blood types to save lives... No one said you have to keep them inside, if anything someone could be paid to enjoy a good sleep over several days up until they are taken out and compensated.Out Of Character Info
