• Not Optimized for Acier: Kastan designed the hilt for himself, it doesn't balance or sync as naturally in Ace's hands.
• Exposed Design: The skeletal structure makes the inner components more vulnerable to dirt, water, or shrapnel in harsh environments.
• Attunement Misalignment: The Kyber crystal remains strongly attuned to Kastan's presence in the Force. For Ace, this means a subtle disharmony when wielding the blade, it responds, but not with the same fluidity or connection.

DESCRIPTION
This weapon belonged to Jedi Knight Vinorl Kastan, who in his later years withdrew from the Order under the Barash Vow. His exile led him deep into the mists of Dathomir, where he sought clarity in meditation, apart from conflict.

It was there that Kastan met a strange and quiet child who first watched him from the treeline before daring to sit by his side. Over the years, their paths intertwined. She grew into a woman, carrying her burdens in silence, while Kastan grew older, his beard grayed and his lightsaber carried only as a memory of what he once was.

When she returned one final time, cloaked and guarded, she carried a child in her arms - a boy with white hair and freckles, marked by two legacies that would make him hunted. She entrusted her fears to Kastan, and in return the Jedi entrusted her with his last possession of consequence.

She carried the weapon with her until the day she was forced to leave her son, behind on Bonadan. She left the lightsaber with him, hidden away, as the only piece of protection and heritage she could give.

Years later, Acier would grow to discover it not only as a weapon, but as a symbol - a relic of compassion, of exile, and of choice. Though it was not constructed by him, the blue-bladed weapon remains tied to him as an heirloom from both his mother and the Jedi who showed her trust.
