Description:
When there comes a situation when you need the rugged reliability of a slugthrower for the most hellish conditions that a blaster just can't stand up to; you can turn to SFI's Victory Carbine. Built with the reliability and toughness you can expect from Sun Forged weaponry, we can guarantee this slughthrower will outperform and out-survive the competition. We've buried it in sand, snow, mud, thrown it in a river and it still fired hen we plucked it out with only a smack to the side to clean out the worst of the debris. We even drove a tank over it and the round still fired! With this gun, you can be assured Victory will carry the day!
Reliability is the key point of this weapon. No matter what so long as the gun is still in reasonable shape it will fire. You can abuse it a lot without worry but we wouldn't recommend that. A gun in tip top shape is always best. While well manufactured, the slugthrower like any is prone to a jam. It can be cleared by pulling back the action, or if necessary using a knife to break free the stuck round. Rarely should the bullet jam that a disassemble need be preformed. Overheating isn't much of an issue as the air ports allow for greater cooling of internal components. Ammunition is a limiting factor, but only by how much you carry. And it should be loaded into spare magazines for ease of reloading. It can take a bit of time to refill a 40 round magazine in the head of battle. Use your head so you won't be dead. While you'd think accuracy would suffer for the reliability, its a negligible loss of 0.001%. (If you miss, blame yourself, not the gun. But we know you will anyways, so we forgive you).
Against a Jedi or Sith opponent, having a fast shooting weapon is a big advantage. No chance they could stop all the rounds with a saber. And since bullets are invisible to the naked eye whilst in flight, a Force move is tough to pull off before impact. Most also wear little to no real armor, so the advantages are great. WARNING: Fighting a Force user is very dangerous. So with purchase you assume all liability in any possible event.
A disadvantage is fighting a heavily armored opponent such as a Mandalorian in full Beskar Armor. We recommend a larger weapon for such opponents as their armor is incredibly durable and weakspots are small and typically guarded. So remember, and as we've said. Use your head so you won't be dead.
