PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Vianca's only true care in life is for House Mecetti. She wishes to see them succeed, and grow powerful and prosperous. To this end she has long directed the Ministry of Inquiry, and now must delve deeply into politics and the House's economic affairs. She has a sharp mind, but a less volatile personality than her late husband. The only thing she values nearly as much as the House is competent and reliable operatives.

WEAKNESSES
Distrusting - Alliances can be key to House success, but Vianca has trouble trusting anyone outside of House Mecetti. Her distrustful nature has the potential to sink any alliances she forms.
Aged - Vianca is very fit for her age, but one can not deny that she is frailer than she once was, and can not perform the physical feats that belong to the young.
Pompous - Like many Tapani Sector nobles and people of great wealth or power, Vianca operates with a sense of superiority. This may not endear her to everyone, and may prove a disadvantage if she actually meets her match.
HISTORY
Vianca was born to parents Dienna Mecetti and Karlin Mecetti, living a life of nobility and privilege- but also a life of preparation for service within the feared and respected Ministry of Inquiry as a senior agent of the organization. She was taught Spycraft, martial arts, piloting, starship gunnery, history, economics, and galactic politics.
She was second cousin to famed Saber Rake and House scion Casteban Mecetti. from a branch of the family that tested as mildly force sensitive. In the hopes of creating a fully force-capable branch of House Mecetti nobles, she was placed into an arranged marriage with Casteban. As it turned out, the result was successful. They had a son, Maldor Mecetti, who displayed great force potential and was granted access to the family vault of Sith artifacts. He was able to open a holocron, becoming a triumph of selective breeding with a talent for saber-work that exceeded his father's.
While Casteban taught Maldor politics, Vianca taught him the darker side of galactic affairs, and practical talents such as self-defense without a foil, piloting, and gunnery. Meanwhile, she took command of the Ministry of Inquiry and used the formidable intelligence apparatus to secure his legacy by protecting and advancing House interests.
When Maldor ran afoul of the GA judiciary and was forced to flee to exile in the Empire of the Lost, Vianca and Casteban were crestfallen. But they both knew they could make an opportunity out of the affair. Using the Ministry and House Mecetti's resources, she funneled information and money to her son so that he could thrive and succeed in Imperial territory, giving the House another cadet branch where it could create influence within a new superpower. Turning disadvantage to advantage was her trademark.
But tragedy did not take long to strike again. Casteban became ill with an incurable degenerative illness. He backed up his mind to a synthetic life-form called a 'biot' and then got himself killed in combat against the Dark Empire shortly thereafter. This left Vianca to rise up and claim the reigns of power within House Mecetti, relegating the biot with her husband's memories to take over the Ministry of Inquiry. Each of them are now in an uncomfortable position, but as always, they will turn disadvantage to advantage.
