STRENGTHS

• Damage: The two pistols are in possession of extreme stopping power; powerful enough to penetrate most armor types, metals, and alloys. Very few blaster pistols can match the damage output these two pistols can exhibit.
• Firing Rate: These two beauties have a high rate of fire, allowing for more shots to be rifled off quickly; though with an average ammo capacity with only 17 shots per magazine, there runs the chance of having to "reload" quickly and more often.

WEAKNESSES

• Ammo Capacity: The two pistols utilize blaster gas, stored in magazine form rather than cannisters, and each magazine can hold only up to 17 shots, whereas the more traditional cannisters can hold up to 5,000 shots.
• Recoiled: The recoil on the twin pistols is very high, taking a steady arm to hold them properly after firing to keep the shots from straying uncontrollably upon firing the weapons.

DESCRIPTION

The pistols were created by Ghostronics Corporation at the request of Cassie Callahan. Each pistol is manufactured from songsteel and dallorian alloy. The songsteel was chosen for its extraordinary lightness, whilst allowing it to have the benefit of handling lightsaber strikes. Dallorian alloy was chosen as the second material for its ability to prevent overheating of the barrel and weapon when being continuously fired. Six special features were also included for each pistol.

Hair triggers were incorporated over the standard firing triggers, allowing the pistols to fire more rapidly and quickly. Trandoshan triplers were including onto the two pistols, adding more firepower to the pistols, whilst the "Deadeye" sights aiding Cassie in aiming at her targets. The autosteady gyro-gimbal allows for the pistols to possess more balance, aiming, and recoil recovery when the pistols are fired.

To prevent her weapons being used against her, or anyone outside of her using them, each pistol grip has a dermatoglyphic identification scanner that reads the fingerprints of her hands; making the pistols work only specifically for her. It takes less than a fraction of a second for the scanner to read her prints. Opting to use blaster gas instead of power cells for her pistols, the pistols utilize a magazine system over a cannister system; which lowers the ammo capacity for the magazines drastically, dropping the magazine count to only 17 shots per; compared to the normal capacity of a gas cannister that can hold up to 5,000 shots before reloading.
