• Description: Based in Veradune, the Wilders are a force tradition that focuses on the natural aspects of the force, using it to a variety of skills. While capable of normal skills such as healing and mind tricks, the Wilder traditions have the most notable effect on their more physical manifestations. Rarely using telekinesis, the wilders will instead bend the winds or the earth to move an object that they wish to be in another location. Should they wish to choke someone, they rob the area around them of oxygen. Notable force abilities of the Wilders include the forms of force lightning, weather manipulation, elemental manipulation, metamorphosis, and altering one’s own body via the force.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
• Hierarchy:
The Council of Archwilders
• Archwilders
• Master Wilder
• Wilder
• Wildling
• Initiate

Made up of various sects, no group of wilders is officially higher than the others, and many do not share the same goals or beliefs. They are unified in their belief in the power of the wilds, but this is about as far as it goes. Despite their differences, every sect does have a representative to lead them and join in the council of Arch Wilders. In this council, every voice is equal as they speak to serve the interests of the wilds.
There are instances of sects that do not join the council of Archs, known as dark Blight Sects. These sects are often hunted down as they use their powers to harm rather than aid others. While blight sects occasionally band together to create their own council, such groups are usually stomped out as soon as possible as to avoid a spreading of ‘the blight.’
• Membership: Initiation into each sect is done differently. Some do so by vote, others by rite of passage. The only concrete rule is that an Arch Wilder must be voted onto the council to ensure that he represents the interests of his sect, and not his own desires.
• Dogma/Doctrines:
All wilders believe in the inherent nature of nature, and how its power is mighty enough to destroy or heal as it sees fit. For this reason, a common saying among the wilders is: “What man makes in generations, the wilds take in moments.” This respect for the wilds prevents Wilders from doing anything that they believe would disturb the balance of nature, lest they anger the spirit of the wilds(also known as the force), and face its wrath. Wilders often work and live among civilized Verans to ensure that their lives on the planet do not interfere with nature around them.
• As each sect is different, the only true laws that can be applied to all of them, are the laws of the Council of Arch Wilders, which must be passed by a 70% vote. These laws include:
All Arch Wilders must be voted into their seat by their sect.
• All sects must be represented on the council, or be known as a blight.
• All sects must work to preserve the wilds.
• All Meetings of the Council are to be peaceful, with no intent to harm other members.
• In the case of Veran war which might endanger the wilds, an Arch Wilder may be selected to lead the sects as a force to protect the wilds. After war, this Arch Wilder is to be absolved of his position and returned to normalcy.
• Wars among Sects cannot extend to the point of complete destruction unless one side is declared a blight.
• No matter your rank in civilization, your rank in the Wilders is dependent on your work as a wilder.
• Independent Wilders are neither blight, nor worthy of being on the council.

[*]Curios: Many wilders carry a token or tattoo of some sort to denote the sect they belong to. This denotes their membership to the group, though this marking may come in various forms. All Arch Wilders carry with them a pendant bearing the mark of the council.
[*]Goals: All wilder’s exist to protect the nature of Veradune. Most believe this is done by achieving balance between civilization and the wilds, although some so desire the downfall of civilization to return it to its roots. Most but not all of the latter become blight sects which are to be wiped out. Without any ambitions of power outside of their organization, the sects simply work to learn and grow more powerful so that they may use the power that the wilds have gifted them.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Older than Veradune’s civilization, the Veran Wilders are an integral part of the planet’s history, having used their powers to help their brothers and sisters survive the lethal environment of their home. Before Veradune became a full civilization, the Wilders often played the roles of wise men within the various clans, using their abilities to help their people navigate through the dangerous wilds of Veradune without being eaten or killed. When Veradune started to modernize, the Wilders held to their forested ways, still respecting nature and ensuring that as cities and communities were built, nature was not unduly tarnished or destroyed. Now, the Wilders form a sort of secret defense force within Veradune, standing guard should anyone attempt to destroy their home. While cities may be burned and sacked, an attack on this powerful group would likely end with all manner of gruesome death as they turn Veradune's lethal flora and fauna against anyone that should stand against it.

Before we get to business, I would just like to apologize for keeping you waiting on this one longer than is usual for codex. Your submission was flagged for review accidentally when it was moved from pre-codex, and it took me an extra day to find the time to give this a close read once I picked it up.

Cool Force druids! There have been a few writers who have developed Force sects with similar inspirations over the years, between their efforts and the plethora of canon elemental magicks/fringe philosophies, I have no issue with your Wilders conceptually. The submission itself looks solid, all I would ask of you before I stamp this and pass it along is if you could give me just a few more sentences on their historical background. What you have is a little light, maybe bring up some specific examples of how they have been so integral to Veradune, or describe what dangers there are on the planet that requires their unique form of protection. Just enough to flesh out that section into at least a full paragraph.
