Veradune, why does it have to be Veradune?

Dunames Lopez

Megalomaniac CEO of Star Tours
In her bid to take out as many refugees from One Sith space as possible, while at the same time doing so under the veneer of a business in interstellar shipping and travel, Dunames begins looking for worlds that would be willing to host One Sith refugees in exchange for opening up a route for Star Tours to fly there from the closest hub. In Veradune's case, this meant Tomorrowland Starport on Eriadu.

It has come to my attention that Veradune is willing to host We do not currently fly there, but Coruscant is one of the major collection points for taking refugees out of One Sith space, and Tomorrowland Starport on Eriadu is the closest, let's put it this way, sortition point for those refugees to Veradune. And this is just the beginning of our operations on Veradune: we need to discuss the possibility of opening a route to Veradune, while taking into account Veradune's ability to accept refugees. There is a queue of millions of possible refugees on Coruscant alone, willing to take any transport they can to reach Outer Rim space or to otherwise get out of One Sith space. All outbound flights from One Sith space, whether to Nar Shaddaa, JanFathal, Ringo Vinda or Eriadu, are booked solid for the next two months, so this is not without implications for our business.

Clearly running one Bowser, laden with 525 passengers apiece on each Coruscant-Eriadu flight in that direction, is far from enough because some of the refugees have also brought their possessions in a bid to move offworld, and 166 passengers are on each flight from less high-profile One Sith planets, onboard services on Pullman-class freighters.

This is a great time to be operating services outbound from One Sith space; Star Tours has even considered taking part in Operation Noah's Ark, provided their cashflow allowed for it.
