Biography: Ven Balterius was raised on Coruscant by his mother, an engineer, and his father, a security guard working at the Senate. His mother often taught him tricks on fixing parts to ships and speeders while he'd tried to visit his father sometimes in order to learn things about the senate. He found it both intimidating and awe inspiring to see the Senate in political debate, despite him not fully knowing what they talked about. But it was also just to visit with his father from time-to-time. On one such visit Ven bumped into a member of the Jedi order, a human named Master Padok. Sensing the force in him, Padok took Ven to the Jedi temple and tested his abilities and seeing he had potential. Accepting the role, Ven said goodbye to his parents and began his training. Over the years he developed well in the jed arts, in both the force and the use of a double-blade saber. When he was old enough Master Padok took him on missions across the glaxay. On one recent mission, however, Ven and Padok had been trying to deal with bandits on one one the moons near Katanamoria. In the ensuing battle Padok sacrificed his life to save Ven's. Since then Ven has felt a great shame in himself for letting his master die because of him, but, thanks to the support of the Jedi, continues to train.
