STRENGTHS

Light: Consisting as it does largely of a few durasteel plates over a skin-tight bodysuit and mechanical limbs, the suit does not particularly impede its wearer's mobility.

Enhancing: The suit replaces all four of the wearer's natural limbs, as well as enhances brain function, giving strength, speed, agility and reflexes far in excess of those normally granted to unaugmented humans. Often, the wearer will appear blurred when moving, capable of keeping time easily with even the most aggressive of physical attackers in close-quarters.

Stealthy: Light and relatively noiseless as it is, the suit also comes with the standard Terror Trooper implanted cloaking device that can render brief invisibility, at least to mundane means of detection.

Integrated: Deeply intertwined with the user's nervous system, the suit clings to the wearer like an extension of his body, and is easily treated as such. The various systems can be activated or deactivated with a thought, like moving an arm or leg.

Environmentally Sealed: The suit is proof against vacuum, radiation, non-weaponized heat and cold, and most other environmental effects.

WEAKNESSES

Permanent: Once reconstructed, the wearer is entombed forever inside its monstrous new form. The implants resist any attempt at removal, responding by digging into the flesh and inserting metal tendrils deeper into the central nervous system. Even removing the helmet to eat or drink is intensely painful and requires several minutes of work. The wearer is condemned to wear it until the end of his days.

Unprotective: Aside from the bare minimum of protecting the upper body somewhat from conventional weapons, the suit is rather lightly armored, and relies more on the superhuman agility it bestows to protect the wearer.

Extreme Ion Vulnerability: Interwoven as it is with the wearer's vital functions, strong static discharges are devastating both to the armor and the wearer. Sufficiently strong EMPs can render the wearer comatose or dead.

DESCRIPTION

Blurring the line between a body-wide cybernetic implant and personal protection, Vall's False Face is, if anything, more extreme even than the base model. Given the extensive severity of his injuries, it is equipped with sophisticated life support systems that run far more than skin deep.

The suit pumps his half-metal heart, allows something like normal human breathing, and keeps every other part of the body ticking along in a cruel mockery of life. Virtually every vital organ is dependent on its continued function, as most of them are synthetic too. The suit is wired directly into the brain, allowing full automatic control of its weapons and systems. In a technical sense, Vall's entire continued existence is artificial.

Outwardly, the suit is sleek, form-fitting, and extremely lightweight, with plates being situated at the torso to protect vital organs, on the arms to harden against blades and render the wearer's unarmed blows more effective, and on the knees to make his occasional crawling posture more bearable. A powerful sensor package on the back feeds data to an artificial third "eye" mounted to the left of the helmet, allowing vision into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums when desired, as well as feeding vital data on whatever the wearer is currently viewing. The helmet's lenses are usually opaque from the outside, but can be depolarized to become transparent with the same automatic ease as utilizing any other system.

The arms are armored, and fitted with integrated stun blasters. The back of the hands possess a curious branching structure from which several razor-sharp durasteel claws extend, which when swung by the considerable strength of the wearer, are capable of shearing off unarmored limbs. When not in use, these can fold back up against the forearm.

The legs are barely protected at all, save for some plating around the knees, and the feet are fitted with sharp, magnetized metal talons that are as often used as weapons as they are to scale sheer surfaces.

Overall, this suit is monstrous, an assault on all pretension of human decency, and most of the luckless individuals entombed inside them are long gone. As far as its wearer knows, he alone remains.
