He was leading through and looking around. "It is another part of the valley, few have been here in a very long time. Most sith only care for that which gives them power or allows them to advance. Which is in their natures but there is more to being strong then just being able to beat another being. If you only fight then you will lose out on a great deal of knowledge be it good or evil. Some of the old sith were terrible being but they sought to understand parts of the galaxy and how to manipulate it as opposed to just ruling over the people." He said it and he had been here a long long time ago, in some cases it was a lifetime but he could do a whole lot with it and here he could see about some of the older buildings that they could use and set up for Seimei to take over after cleansing them if need be. "There used to be labs around here that were tasked with trying to use the dark heart of the world to create life. THey had taken then ancient red engine to help themselves."

Nagate felt some sort of connection between Master [member="Syn"] and this place. As if he'd been here in its prime. Everyone had a past, some more memorable than others. Some, like Nagate, didn't remember it at all. There was plenty of memory here, although Nagate couldn't pick it apart.

This place must've been grand in its day, the search for knowledge, no matter its purpose, must be valuable.

Nagate stepped out and began to walk towards the ancient facility. He didn't know where to start, but was going to let the Force guide his feet until Master Syn said otherwise.

"I don't know if I would call it grand, they did things few really understood but it was trying to build upon the past and make something stronger for the future.... they failed for the most part. Only a handful of things that were created were a success they could do anything with and eventually they were shipped off to different worlds to be taught with the placce being raided and stopped." He was prepared to work with some of the other things when it came into view and he could feel the force energies within it and the rocks as well. The electronics of the machinery that was hooked to geothermal vents they used for power to provide it for longer then other places might get. The doors were ajar and partially opened but he couldn't feel many big things within as there were crates there cracked open with old food.

Nagate nodded, his masters words were solid, like the stone around them. A sense of disappointment could be dealt. As though he'd wished more had succeeded from this place. Then, entering the first room, the scent of rotten food permeated the area, its bitter and molded aroma hit Nagate and made him cough.

So, where should we begin? Start the power back up? Or, clear the structure of any hostile creatures that may exist?

He was there for a moment and the scent of food was there, rotten but underneath it there was a few other scents like where creatures had come from them. "Most of the creatures this place housed are dead." He was careful with his words but sticking with it while they were moving through the halls with his senses flaring out to search with the force. "Power wise though." He pointed to it and tapped the wall as the lights flickered. "Geothermal power, keeps the equipment running to a point but most of it by now has been damaged or is rusted and unable to be used. We'll clear out in case there is anything in here but the real monsters are gone so we won't have those dangers."

(Sorry for the long absence. I got a promotion at work which has taken up my time as of late.)

Nagate looked on as lights flickered on throughout the complex. A low glow illuminated the dark ruins, the first light that walls had seen in what seemed like centuries.

Well then, that should make getting this place up to par again that much easier. He said in regards to the lack of dangerous creatures.

Putting away his Lightsaber, Nagate reached out and searched that area with the Force. As the light warmed the floor, a certain life could be felt, as if the ruin itself were feeding off the lumens. It was a good start.

Whats next, Master?

A look at it and he was guessing the next step would be checking the systems but he couldn't see the screens or if they worked properly. Preparing more of it though as the whisper of the force was around. Letting him go through the facility here while there were cracked tube and she could work about it. "THe screens should display if there is anything here with the power and I can not smell a few of the experiments." The creeping sensation of the darkness was there before he stopped looking around planting his feet and reaching out with the force energies. There was a sensation moving along the edges of his senses and he could tell they were there.

Nagate awaited further instruction, but as Master Syn had mentioned, the screens should be turning on as the power was restored to the terminals. Nagate moved over to a console and began typing some commands. He was by no means a hacker, but home could figure his way around the thing to boot it up properly...

He got a few screens to illuminate, but some seemed too old to function properly anymore. They'd need to be replaced. On the few functional screens, schematics, project lists, and manifests of the facility scrolled over a few as the programming began to run. Nagate tried to decider some of the project lists, but they seemed to be labeled in some type of scientific short hand.

Master, what do you make of these?

He looked at his padawan and was looking at the screen with a look on his face. The sash over his eyes where he was blind and he spoke. "Look for base schematics and project monarch details. That was what they gave to the testing for me and the others." he stayed there looking at all of it with a small look on his face though while he was checking around to see sections of the base in the force. Expanding out with his senses to better feel and understand what was happening around them. "There used to be a lab area in the sub basement that the sith would use to ensure they were being trained and kept closer to the corrupted tommbs and heart of this world."

Nagate's fingers fluttered over the keys, searching for the Schematics and for something called Project Monarch. It wasn't easy for him, computers were not his strongest attribute. He did what he could to find schematics, he was able to gain access to a few areas, but not all. Some files appeared corrupted.

Master, I've gotten a few unlocked, but not all. I'm not a computer genius by any means, but I accessed the west end and north side. The Project Monarch is coming up now sir. What am I looking for in that Project?

"You are looking to see if there are any of the test subjects that have continued to live. I know two that survived the years but there were dozens of us made. A chance others could be out there is not a good thing and it wouldn't bode well for a number of people sith or jedi."

Nagate skimmed the files and came upon one file with an 'Active' profile. It wasn't fully loaded, the files were lost, but it was there.

"Master, I've found one file that still reads as Active. The file is corrupted, but it's there."


Nagate downloaded what he could to his datapad and stored it on his belt.

"Should we track this one down? Or should we report it to HQ?"

He was looking back at him and nodded for it. "Send it ahead, there is not likely to be much information after almost nine hundred years but we should be able to find some things around here.... Maybe." He was uncertain but there was the chance fi they were lucky or had the force here willing to help them. With a few moments thought the jedi master was walking through the metal able to sense and feel it before he reached out with his hand to move some of the debris and go lower and lower into the facility. "We'll keep looking and there might be more we can search through in the lower levels."

Nagate put the info into a report and sent it to headquarters. Grabbing the datapad and storing it on his belt, he moved towards the exit.

"Alright master, you know the layout, where to next?"

Nagate hoped there would be something exciting to discover down below, maybe an artifact or even just a trinket. Something to show for his efforts.

Yeah he knew the layout... kind of. It wasn't exactly that way but he knew how to move around and it was like it was yesterday before he was moving around nad leading the way deepering int the facility. Where they would be able to go and ove around would serve a lot more of the jedi master. he was leading the way down deeper while focusing on the force energy around them and the darkside of the world itself added a lot to what they were dealing with and discovering. he needed to make sure they would be safe but also so that they would be better able to handle anything coming their way. The tuk'ata only went so far before he was focusing and allowing the white current to come out and push forward for the pair of them.
