The large valley's of tombs on Korriban were massive, going deep into the planets where some fo the tombs were ornate and some barely showing a name. The jedi master had come here because it wasn't corbos where he was normally staying and battling large sithspawn. With the work threy had been doing he was prepared for some of the other ones. Wanting to get some more of the stranger things for what was quickly becoming a needed place. The Citadel on Korriban was being changed over, converted and worked on to become a part of the lightside within the dark world. They were working to get the area cleared for the larger thing being rebuilt. A smaller model they had found when exploring the world that would be rebuilt, converted and designed for many of the things they could work over it all. He had also come here to fight monsters and train a padawan who had returned to the sanctum. "Are you ready to begin?" He asked it while looking out from the citadel and it was more of a focused question as engineers and researchers were working with the droids around the area. The jedi master standing in the limited gear he needed with pants in the fitted boots that were meshed and protective, shirtless as on his arm a golden circlet was on one sie and the other had an armband amulet. The fell star around his neck and his sash with short hair.

AN unholy place in the eyes of the Jedi, Korriban was the home of the ancient Sith race, as well as the birthplace of the Darkside of the Force. Here, the Sanctum had developed plans to rewrite the centuries of evil that spawned in the red sand of this world. Nagate had found another new master to train under, he had such good luck with masters...

Yes Master Syn.

Nagate was dressed in his Black trench coat, Mask rested upon his face, and his lightsaber rested upon his hip. Never one for semantics, or small talk, he adjusted his coat and readied for their trip into the Valley of the Dark Lords. Hopefully he'd be able to make this new master proud, it was a long shot, as he'd been on his own for so long, he'd forgotten what it was like to be led.

The blind jedi master was prepared for anything they could do while news was going over comlinks. He didn't really carry one but enhanced senses let him hear it while he was going forward. Something about more work and some of the creatures they could go after while he motioned for the padawan to follow and started walking. They were going to go over all of the things to build themselves up with a small look around in the valley. "Tell me what you have learned about the force and combat as well as the world." he waited to listen and hear him before walking through the valley. With his senses going outwards so that he could feel and detect the creatures crawling around in the valley and in the tomb.

Nagate was surprised that Master [member="Syn"] had asked about his prior training, as well as what he knew about Korriban. It wasn't commonplace for anyone to ask Nagate anything. looking over the Valley, Nagate took a deep breath, calmed his nerves and described what he'd learned...

In my training with Master Harrison, I learned the basics of lightsaber combat as well as basic TK. With Master Ike, I learned Makashi, Negate and increased my knowledge of the galaxy during our exploration missions. As for Korriban, I am aware of the significance of the Temple behind us, as well as the Valley of the Dark Lords, which leads to the Tombs. Original home to the Sith Empire, as well as the Sith Order itself, Korriban is saturated in the Darkside of the Force.

Listening to him speak the jedi master was getting a better idea of what was happening with it, he continued to walk through the valley and could feel all of it. "That is good, solid masters with talent and you know the history but there is always more and that is why we are here. The jedi are working to bring up and raise some of the defensive stations for the planet. We get to handle the creatures on the ground that might prove a danger. Darkside dragons, jedi hunters, shyracks, tuk'ata any number of the things around here. That is one of the stronger and better ways to develop skills with a saber and the force. Show some skill and I am certain you will be able to pick up some of the skills that I use whcih are overlooked by others and could help you."

Nagate looked to his new master, it was good to be under a teacher again. He nodded along as [member="Syn"] explained their mission, it was straight forward and he liked that.

Understood master, shall we begin then?


Nagte pulled his lightsaber off its home on his belt and twirled it in his hand in anticipation of their moving out into the badlands of Korriban..

Ah good, he was glad to get well a student that was open and ready for the work. Functioning as a jedi shadow was a very important thing to the order and well he had found that most of the silver shadows were less then impressive. It was one thing to fight the darkside it was another to go on about codenames and secret clubhouses that made you special. He had done of that but he did have the skill and starting the mission here he was ready. "We will start in the tombs around it, keep your focus and block out the darkside influence of the planet. We have a long day ahead." He said it with a small sense fo enjoyment heading towards some fo the smaller tombs as reports over the comlinks were going on about the construction of the stations.

Nagate nodded and started along with Master [member="Syn"] towards the tombs. The tombs gave off a strong Darkside presence, even from outside, it was like looking into a fogged window. He knew he could see, but the fog tried to impart his vision anyways.

Nagate closed his eyes and focused on the Force, finding his light, and imbuing it, clearing his eyes except for the edges, as the darkside was very strong, the further in they went. He'd need to keep his focus in order not to be blinded by the darkness.

Syn was letting the force energies go outward so he could move with many of the others, rolling over and turning some of the attention to their bigger works. THe tombs here were crawling with creatures that he and the padawan could go after as he walked and the scent of a tuk'ata was there on the edge from the caves. Along with the smell of darkside, death and decay from the ruins themselves. Slowly he was moving into the tomb with his hands avoiding his saber but he was prepared to fight on many of the things until he motioned for the two of them to go in and forward to clear it out and attack what might be coming after them. His force sight leading him through the dark tombs.

Nagate trailed behind his new master by a few paces, not used to using the Force to guide him, he focused on Syn instead, as long as he could sense him, it would be easy enough to traverse the darkness.

In the back of his mind, he could feel the Darkness tugging at the edges of his thoughts, attempting to lure him away, somewhere deeper into the cave that wasn't part of the path his master was laying out. It was like being poked in the conscience, thoughts at the edge of his mind were filled will fear and betrayal, attempting to work their way into Nagate's mind, infect him and corrupt him. But the calming effect of his Adegan crystal allowed him enough strength to subdue the fringe thoughts.

I don't sense anything master, what about you?

"I do" He could work on it and going over the different things within his mind he was stalking through the tomb when the skittering sound of tuk'ata came. They had a lot to fight and handle but there was a chance of something big going on there was construction throughout the planet and he could hear it across the world. Bringing parts of it over with attention here when he gave a small snarl in preparation for the fight that would be coming. He knew some of the goals from Saotome one of the orders people making their equipment was to fortify the planet. Working with their droids and ranger's on it provided a number of new resources when he pushed through the one area stopping. "It is a tuk'ata nest, your lightsaber is recommended to defend yourself."

Nagate stutter-stepped at the sound of the name. Tuk'ata, Sith Hounds. Highly intelligent and Force Sensitive. Alchemicaly altered by the Sith to guard the Valley of the Dark Lords. Without thinking, Nagate's Pale blue blade extended and lit up the immediate area in its cooling aura.

Nagate focused on the aura and felt his resolve return. Nagate placed his mask over his face and pulled his vibroknife and held it in reverse guard opposite the saber.

The signatures of the beasts became clear to him as he calmed down and the darkness was suppressed by the Aura of his saber.

"I feel them coming master."

Yeah and that was where the excitement came from, Syn was many things and in truth... well he preferred this. That moment when you were fighting a large creature and they were going to prove a challenge maybe. Once he saw the first tuk'ata a large beast of it and charged at the thing it was certain. The gnashing of teeth and his gloved hands while he held the jaws of the creature apart getting a grip that made his muscles strain and tense up showing off more of his impressive build before flinging the creature around in a circle towards the wall smashing him into it. Then letting go as he punched another leaping for him in the head getting a small ylp from the creature.

Nagate, being of a far slighter build than [member="Syn"], utilized his dexterity and agility to combat the Tu'kata that pounced on the pair of Jedi. Nagate ducked under a leaping hound, stabbing forth his saber and evicorating the gut of the creature. Spinning out of the way of a pair of outstretched claws allowed Nagate to slice along the ribcage, slumping the east into the sand.

"I'd say these fellas are hungry, but they seem too aggressive even for hunger."

Looking at all of it and his knowledge fo the beasts he had to agree with that. There was a lot more aggression from them as he moved checking one of them. "They are protecting something else, more then just simple pups or some food. Likely on commands from some sith." He was guessing but on korriban with hyper aggressive beasts well it was a lot more possible then just they are there. He was moving and kept going through the area though as the area gave way to a large open section with destroyed droids and some bodies from people that had tried exploring the planet. Not a good reaction but he knew how to handle most of it with a small look touching the ground to feel out the cavern and the creatures. "There are shyracks asleep above us, be on guard but quiet and focused."

Nagate quickly looked up to see the hellspawn sleeping in droves above the pairs heads. They were vicious creatures. Known for their temper and appetite. Shyracks were no joke and Nagate did not want to wake any number of the flying demons.

He simply nodded back to his master and then shot his eyes downward to eye the floor. Aiming to avoid anything that could potentially make noise. Each footfall felt like a stomp and the beat of his heart was like a drum. Nagate forced himself to focus on the task at hand and to allow the Force to guide him. The Adegan crystal in his Lightsaber channeled the Force and soothed his worries. Nagate was able to clear his mind of the distractions and face the Darkness without a misstep.

He could feel his padawan as they continued forward with stealth. His movement more cat like for hunting before he looked up hearing the creatures. Wanting to remain quiet but he was trained and he knew how to handle the creatures above when he got ot the other end of the walkway. The scents were of death and rot from things they had likely found and dragged down here where there were other creatures. Plus add to that there were dangerous creatures on Korriban as the pelko were scattering away from them. THe skittering sound something he was used to with creatures like the little bugs but the pelko unless you were injured or near death usually avoided everything that could be a prolem until the light was filtering into the blackness. THe feeling of the force was all around

Nagate traveled behind Master [member="Syn"] until they're cleared the expanse of the room. On the other side he could sense a massive darkside presence beyond his visuals.

Telepathically he communicated to his master, Where do we go from here, Master?

Not sure how to proceed, Nagate awaited instruction. The darkness of the tomb made it difficult for anything to be seen without air of torch or technology. Since Nagate didn't have the ability to do so with the Force, it was going to be tough for him to continue without assistance.

He was looking at it and they could feel it while the jedi master looking out across the valley with a nod of his head indicating when they cleared the tomb and pathways to reveal the ruins of the old academy and another section of the valley that few others went into. "We'll continue forward, there are more creatures and a lot of areas that need clearing so we will be able to set up areas for advanced teams to monitor the planet itself." The jedi master was moving forward as he could feel more. The suddenly spawning massive civilian population on the planet merited them to investigate and try to figure out what the hell was happening before the jedi master moved forward sensing with the force so the two of them could continue forward.

Nagate nodded along as the Force enveloped him in its presence; Darkside presence. A lost academy under the most recent one, this place must've been where the first Sith, species, learned of and trained with the Force. This was pure speculation, of course, but it wasn't unlikely to be the case.

Understood master, where shall we start? I can see an entrance ahead, I guess that's as good a place as any?

This time, the Darkside wasn't an opposing presence as it usually was, here it felt familiar. As if by some possibility, the ancient Sith weren't the blood thirsty murderers they are today and have been for the last millennia. This feeling was of intrigue and knowledge. Power could be sensed, but it was unlike those of today's dark-walkers. The power he felt was more akin to that of the Silver Jedi, a way to bring peace and order, through the aid of the Force, not by manipulation.

The Force feels different down here master, what is this place?
