- Swivel Turret

- Advanced targeting system allows for the expeditious acquisition and tracking of targets.
- High rate of fire with average stopping power allows the PDLS to put a lot of rounds on target is short span of time
- Can be used to target either small starships or inbound ordinance

- This weapon system is highly ineffective against large targets
- Weapon system can be overheated if constantly fired.
- Automated targeting system can be hacked if networked to an unprotected defense matrix

New to the ever expanding Valnora Enterprise catalog in the “Valkyrie Point Defense System.” Developed with the intent of updating the commonly dispersed Point Defense Laser System that runs along most capital vessels in the galaxy, the Valkyrie aims to use shere volume of rounds on target at an average stopping power to quickly subdue and enemy starfighter presence of inbound enemy ordinance.
The implementation of the advanced targeting system, works by tracking a ship’s power signature and then verifying against the ship’s transponder system to determine whether target is friend or foe. This system, however, is not foolproof and if it were to be hacked, the weapon system could be turned on friendly targets. It is highly recommended that you use an advanced network security system to deter and/or prevent this from happening.
This aim of this weapon system was to be an upgrade to aging and/or outdated technology.
