STRENGTHS

• Force Effects: The crystal offers Valery protection against all kinds of Force-based attacks. The necklace is something she wears off-duty, and thus replaces her more combative orientated artifacts that would normally offer her protection. Now even off-duty, she has additional protection in case threats are able to find her.
• Imbued: Aside from its inherent Force effects, Valery has also used her Force prowess to further imbue the crystal, allowing it to specifically aid her more against influences of the Dark Side. The most notable is added properties akin to Force Immunity.
• Bonded: The crystal is bonded to Valery in the Force, so anybody else wearing the necklace will not receive any beneficial effects from the crystal. To them, it's simply a beautiful necklace.

WEAKNESSES

• Fragile: While the crystal offers protection against Force-based attacks, more typical attacks can shatter it.
• Force-nullification: The crystal's benefits will not function in a Force-nullified area, such as the bubble of a Ysalamiri.
• Bonded: While the bond between Valery and the crystal will prevent enemies or thieves from benefitting from its properties, she's also not able to grant it to an ally or friend. This necklace will only ever help her.
• Force Protection: High protection can also be a disadvantage if someone wants to use a helper Force Ability on the crystal owner, as the crystal also protects against these. These must be passed through the crystal's protection by the owner in a short concentration.

DESCRIPTION
With Valery often finding herself facing off against forces of the Dark Side, the threat of it looking for her outside her duties always remained present. So as a way to offer her additional protection when she wasn't on duty, Kahlil Noble gifted her this handmade necklace in their last moments together, shortly before he left to confront his family, which ultimately led up to his fall to the Dark Side.

This necklace now remains vital in her off-duty protection both against the Dark Side, but also against the possibility of Kahlil himself becoming a danger to her.

But most of all, it reminds her of the person she loves, who is now always kept close to her.
