[BIOGRAPHY]
Hospital records indicate the subject, VALEN THALE, was born on Corellia 825 years After the Battle of Yavin (ABY). School records from Coronet City peg him as a secondary school drop out, though his grade reports suggest that he was a bright student. Shortly thereafter, the subject began to acquire a rap sheet. Court records from these early--and often petty--crimes indicate that the subject was raised by his mother after the family was abandoned by his father, and that his mother died around the time he dropped out of school due to a spice overdose. Valen turned to a life of crime to support himself and his younger brother in her absence.

Records are incomplete as to the whereabouts of his brother. No death certificate can be found on Corellia, suggesting that he is alive. However, sometime after his first arrests, the subject was separated from his younger brother and was forced to live alone on the streets of Coronet City. He later acquired transport--likely from selling stollen goods to a known fence operating near the spaceport--off-world and there disappears from Corellian records.

Though no conclusive evidence has ever been submitted, it is believed the subject went by a variety of aliases to hide his criminal record on Corellia as he moved about the galaxy. He eventually resurfaced, now at the young age of 27, as an upcoming smuggler working in Hutt Space--particularly Nal Hutta, Nar Shaddaa, and Makeb. His identity was confirmed using facial recognition technology, where he was also noted to be piloting a Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 light freighter tagged as the Ladybird. It is unknown if the ship was stollen.

Since then, he has acquired a large number of warrants for various crimes (see the previous data screen) and is wanted by a plethora of governments across the galaxy. As a result, the subject frequently sticks the Outer Rim Territories to avoid arrest or the numerous bounty hunters on his trail.
