DESCRIPTION
Vadel Shipping is a front for The Sith Empire's Sith Imperial Foreign Intelligence Agency, or SIFIA, to conduct transgalactic espionage missions under the guise of an Intergalactic Banking Clan (IGBC) member organisation. Vadel Shipping operations are routinely used to funnel personnel and materiel to clandestine cells of agents across major hyperlanes and through hostile territory. While not yet an IGBC member, its application into the organisation is pending as of 860 ABY, and the company has already begun engaging in shipping operations in and around the Braxant Run.
While officially an entirely civilian company operating out of neutral Arkania, Vadel Shipping is owned entirely by The Sith Empire. Its shipping operations are largely fabrications, and its supposed employees are either SIFIA agents and their handlers, or hired civilian contractors. As a small company, Vadel stays mostly off the radar of intergalactic finance institutions and uses the wealth and backing of Sith-Imperial coffers to plant personnel where they're desperately required.
RATIONALE
Madelyn Lowe took control of Vadel following her promotion to Grand Moff in 860 ABY. As part of an initiative to combat the growing threat of the New Imperial Order and the Sith Apostates, Grand Moff Lowe authorised more offensive, interventionist strikes and covert operations headed by the SIFIA. Vadel was set up as a trial and a proof, distributing personnel for small-scale missions in enemy territory to demonstrate the effectiveness of foreign agents in undermining the Empire's enemies.
