SPECIAL FEATURES

Construction:

  • Phrik Construction offers incredible protection for the weapon, allowing it to even block a lightsaber or other weapons.
Chainsaw:
  • Cortosis weaved with phrik on the chain blades gives it the chance to block and temporarily short out lightsabers.
  • Vibration generator on the chain blades allows for excellent cutting of standard substances
  • Toggle-able Plasma Sheath to cover the chain blades for added protection and cutting of heavier materials.
Particle Beam Blaster:
  • The blaster does both Plasma and Ion damage.
  • The bolts cannot be bounced back, as their unstable nature makes them explode upon contact with lightsabers/shields/physical objects etc.
  • Two modes of fire for changing situations
  • Mode 1 allows heavy attacks of extreme damage that cause a two-meter explosion with each shot.
  • Mode 2 allows for higher fire rates, at the expense of a bit less damage. However, there is also no explosive range.
STRENGTHS

Chainsaw:

  • The chainsaw portion is designed to cut through lightsabers. It accomplishes this by forcing high grade cortosis against a lightsaber hundreds of times a second, this can cause heavy amounts of disruption in the blade, even those that lack dimetris circuits and have redundant circuitry.
  • By utilizing its plasma emitter, it can also cut through most standard materials. It makes it good for cutting through armor, as well as through bulkheads.
Blaster:
  • Extreme Damage: Due to the use of naboo plasma, it does enormous amounts of ion and plasma damage, melting through, and shorting out, all but the most protected of armors and systems.
  • Extreme amounts of ammo: Due to its unique energy system, it can fire five thousand rounds of ammunition before its supplies need to be replaced.
  • It has two modes. Mode 1 causes extreme amounts of damage, with a two meter wide splash damage zone caused by the bolt exploding upon hitting anything. Mode 2 is designed to be used in closer quarters, it has a higher rate of fire, but less damage and no splash damage caused.
WEAKNESSES

Chainsaw:

  • The cortosis weave greatly softens the phrik, which means the chain and its blades wear out over time in battle. This is true, even when fighting lightsabers.
  • If the plasma emitters are activated the blade cannot cut through a lightsaber as it blocks the direct cortosis contact, but if they are deactivated then the weapon cannot cut through heavier materials like durasteel without the chain breaking.
  • It cannot cut through lightsabers that use a Mestare Crystal.
  • The mechanisms can get gummed up.
Blaster:
  • It is indiscriminate. When its in mode one, it will hit user, allies, and the like as much as it will the targets.
  • While it has a massive number of shots before it needs to change its power supplies, when it does run out, it needs a fresh plasma pack, power cell, and tibana gas cartridge. This takes time, and a good amount of space for even one change.
  • Limited range: Due to the unstable nature of the particle beams, it has an effective range of thirty meters, and a maximum range of fifty meters.

DESCRIPTION

Designed as a weapon to combat lightsaber users, droids, cyborgs, and others who use advanced armors, it was built with its uses in mind. The weapon was painstakingly made from Phrik, allowing it to be able to withstand lightsaber blows, block blaster bolts and so much more.

The blaster portion was built utilizing a particle beam weapon schematic. Each bolt is less dense, but more energized, making it more unstable. The moment it hits an object, physical or otherwise, it explodes. However, they utilized naboo plasma in the mechanisms, which gives the plasma a heavy ionization factor. When it explodes, the hot plasma and ionic energy expand rapidly, and envelop a two-meter field. It burns and disables with extreme prejudice.

However, to avoid friendly fire, or self-fire, in confined spaces, a second mode was added, doing a bit less damage, and giving it a higher rate of fire, without a noticeable explosive area. The yield is simply too small to do any real damage.

To add more versatility into the weapon, a vibro-chain saw was added to the front. The chain is special, made of a high purity phrik and cortosis alloy. The blade moves quickly, causing the cortosis to come into contact with the lightsaber hundreds of times a second. This can cause the blade to short out, even without dimetris circuits and with redundant circuitry. In the worst-case scenario, it can even cause a lightsaber to explode due to the interference of its energy pathway.

It was also given a toggle-able plasma emitter sheath. This allowed the more fragile cortosis blade to also cut through heavier materials like durasteel and the like. It makes it good for cutting through armor, or ship bulkheads. All in all, it was a powerful weapon, with some limitations. However, what it did, it did well.

Very inventive and imaginative. While I like it, there are a few issues that will need to be addressed:

Special Features:
  • Construction: Please include the word ‘temporarily’ with regard to the weapon’s ability to short out lightsabers. Also, please include verbiage that states there is a ‘chance’ for this to happen, rather than it 'will' happen. I.E - “Cortosis weaved with phrik on the chain blades allows it to block, and grants it an increased chance to temporarily short out lightsabers.”
  • Chainsaw: Rapid Movement - Please remove this line entirely. At best, this is redundant to the ‘cortosis weaved with phrik’ line. At worst, this is beginning to pre-emptively say ‘My weapon is better than a lightsaber’. This applies also to the Chainsaw Strength.

Strength:
  • Blaster: Extreme Damage - How is your weapon able to deal both ion and plasma damage at the same time? Please elaborate.
