Description: This ship was designed to take down other fighters, and as such was given no anti capital ship weapons. The ion torpedoes were not designed to hit, for this reason. They were however designed to exploded near the enemy fighter, and knock out the fighter by frying there electronics. This was a not a new concept in fighter combat, this was however new to fighters doing is. This was meant to argument it's primary role as bomber escort, as they would fire these at enemy formation and slow them down before they interpreted them.
It also had a fuel boost so it get to the enemy fighters soon after, to prevent them from recovering form that attack. This did mean however against capital ships, this ship ahd nothing to offer, except to make sure they did not stop bombing runs.
