HISTORICAL INFO

Home to one of the oldest species in the Galaxy, Utangard has evaded galactic records simply due to the S'kiss' strong isolationism. The native species has rarely ventured from their home planet of Skism, opting rather to invest in the development and protection of their home with minimal effort going to System Colonisation.

One of the earliest Solar Systems in the Galaxy, Utangard formed like any other. An unknown Supernova from millennia past gave the region the necessary materials that spent billions of years collecting until eventually one such pocket ignited into the K-Class Host Utangard is currently mothered by. Soon (In astronomical terms) after, the 7 planets of the system formed, Skism being the first.

Once the S'kiss became complex, intelligent beings, they slowly developed over the course of millions of years, far longer than most. They grew to hate and once undergoing the transition into Civilisation, they became a feudal species, warring with eachother for dominion over Skism. This however, did not last. Growing tensions regarding the survival of their species saw the S'kiss unify and become a single unit bent on their preservation.

Utangard was now populated by a species of Galactic Standard. They developed the means for Hyperspace travel, but instead chose to use this only for the short trips to their other planets. Utangard held only one bustling Planet while its 6 others became colonial outposts for research and potential Planet B candidates.

Over 4000 years ago, Utangard was briefly visited by a Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Nihilus. This was during his scourge of the Outer Rim and saw him delve into his Hunger for the first time. Skism was victim to his infinite hunger when Nihilus attempted to consume the life-energy of all inhabitants. His attempt failed, scarring the planet with its distinctive Fracture that travels over half its circumference and creating a Nether Gate.

After this, Utangard remained relatively unvisited. The only real evidence of its existence was S'kiss who had decided to venture into the greater Galaxy, although this lifestyle was extremely rare and so to see one anywhere else was highly unlikely.

Utangard is now under the control of The Emergence Empire. As a new Capital System it has been heavily militarised with defences set up all throughout, its planets becoming training grounds, factories and resource mines. Its dense Asteroid Belt, once only lightly touched by the S'kiss is now heavily exploited by The Emergence's military growth.
