The first armoured fighting vehicle manufactured by Upshot is the AV-1, a hulking construction carrying up to thirty fully armed and armoured humans along with supporting heavy weapons without difficulty through heavy fire. The defences of the APC are impressive, layered composite protects against energy, kinetic, and explosive threats that manage to make it through the already tough shielding. The weapons of the stock model AV-1 are rather paltry for its size, only a single small but powerful heavy slugthrower that gives it the ability to defend itself and cover the exit of its attached infantry. The slugthrower can also use less-rounds for when the targets are civilians and not hostile military forces.
The internal space of a standard AV-1 is larger than most contemporary APCs manufactured by other companies, and with adequate conversion can be used as the basis for artillery weapons, shield generations, or medical facilities.
