Most commonly seen on Upshot manufactured armoured vehicles and atmospheric craft, the 998 Series Heavy Slugthrower consists of a primary mount carrying the weapon itself connected to a large ammunition box which feeds the weapon its large slugs. The slugthrower is designed to use a variety of solid shot ammunition, including AP, incendiary, and less-lethal rounds for both military and civilian applications. It boasts enough firepower to slam rounds through a fully armoured Baedurin phenotype Draelvasier while maintaining a rate and volume of fire enough to suppress large numbers of hostiles.
