Updating the Songsteel Challenge

There once was a challenge for all to try
Put in place long ago, far back in time
With few rules for challengers to defy,
All they had to do was write a few rhymes.

Alas, not many could be called poets
They struggled with their wordy endeavor
'Twas not hard for onlookers to notice
Their trouble with putting words together

Of course, things are rarely simple and clean
Even with poems, things aren't what they seem.
So if they ever scoff at your attempts,
You may rightfully view them with contempt.

The rule is written as such so it's left to interpretation. You can do what you want as long as it rhymes. I can read it over to see if j can clarify it more.

The rumor that "orange" rhymes with no other word is incorrect.Orange rhymes with Blorenge (a mountain in Wales) and sporange (a sac where spores are made). "Silver" has the same rumor going for it, but it actually rhymes with Wilver (a nickname) and chilver (a ewe lamb)

Oops. Didn't see @dagora-kel. And lol I didn't learn it from Eminem. Got it from watching Kids WB in the early double thousands. They had a challenge to make it rhyme. Hinge was the word.
