Unimpeded Passage

Once [member="Aveira Dax"] was calm and set upon the ground, Ballen-Ist would turn to face her once more, listening to the words she spoke. He hoped she would be to live up to his expectations, fortunately everything was going as he had desired. However, as the doors opened and the security guard rushed in, the Sith would whip his head to the side, glaring holes through the officers chest as he stood there like a deer caught in the headlights. The Sith's intense gaze would avert itself from the man to the woman, who had been smiling in a disturbing way while staring at the guard.

Her fascination with the dark side was apparent, and something that the Knight did not plan on denying her. Despite this, he did not like the way that she was intimidating one of his workers, and basically foaming at the mouth with blood-lust. Stepping forward with wide strides, the Red Sith would quickly place himself between the duo, speaking to the man without even looking at him. "Leave us. Tell Torris everything is fine," he spoke, maintaining unwavering eye contact with the Zeltron before him.

"More than fine," he spoke quietly to himself, a most pleased expression upon his face. The guard would leave, most likely avoiding a bloody death by the hands of Aveira. There would be no bloodshed on his interceptor, and if there was, he would be the one to inflict it. "Striking down your defeated foes is indeed a pleasurably act, only when earned. Remember who your enemies are, Aveira." With that being said, the Sith would take a cross-legged seat on the ground, sitting in a meditative stance before waiting for the Zeltron to do the same.

"We will meditate for the remainder of journey, and focus our force energy. Even more important, our minds." Ballen-Ist instructed, closing his eyes as he began to steady his breathing. Being attuned to the force already, entering a state of meditation was a simple matter for the Red Sith. He would stay seated and wait for Aveira to achieve the same state of mind, for only then would she be able to act without the dark side clouding her judgement.

Weapon of The Dark Side.
Aveira held the stare on the guard for minutes longer as she attempted to internally fight back the desire to rip the guard apart like a predator licking its lips just before pouncing onto its victim. Finally, the shaking hand lowers the blade then looks back towards [member="Ballen-Ist"] as he took a seat crossed leg onto the ground.

“You want me to just sit?!” she scoffed then turns fully. A quick confused look was expressed outwardly, although the Pureblood may not notice it due to his eyes being shut; she seemed overall by herself. It felt good, no doubting it, but it also felt like something or someone else was controlling her actions and her desire to rip apart the guard whom now quickly left to report back to commander.

“Perhaps..yes..some control is in order..” she said shaken by the conflicted within herself now coming more and more noticeable. The Zeltron places herself before her Master and sits across from him with her legs crossed.

Hours passed one by one and with each second within them, Aveira became less and less noticeable to the advancement of time as she fell into a meditation as her breathe became slower and more at ease.

Their passage was unimpeded thus far, the Fury class interceptor soaring safely through hyperspace until it neared Nar Shaddaa. Many hours had managed to pass peacefully, [member="Aveira Dax"] having been successful in controlling her emotions. Her outbursts were ignored, for the Sith had no intention of caring. Through the force, the Pureblood could feel the Zeltrons mind enter a meditative state. This was good, for she would now be more open and aware of the natural force that existed all around them, nothing tainted by the light or dark.

Though, Ballen-Ist's own presence would be noticeable, something his species had difficulty with mastering. The ship would rattle ever so slightly as it neared Nar Shaddaa, being dragged in by it's gravitational pull as they descended to the surface. Ballen-Ist's eyes would jolt open, taking a brief look around the room to find the Zeltron before him. He wondered how her experience had been.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
In contrast to what had happen with Aveira, she seemed at peace and calm as she seemed somewhere between mediation and a peacefulness that one usually had when asleep. A small twitch of her left hand was given as [member="Ballen-Ist"] opens his eyes and looks at her; perhaps she somehow subconsciously knew to a degree that there was someone awake or nearby while in her meditating state. One more jolt was given and her eyes slowly open and look towards her Master with a peaceful smile.

Ballen-Ist couldn't help but return a brief smile, his brow arching in curiosity as he watched [member="Aveira Dax"] awake from her meditation. For a moment he remained silent, still seated on the ground in front of the Zeltron as he reached out with the force. He could sense how tranquil she felt, and so the Sith knew that she had taken another step closer to mastering the force. "Would you have ever guessed?" the Pureblood questioned quietly, leaning forward slightly as he alluded to the woman's force sensitivity. "What do you think about it?"

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
"Excites me yet it terrifies me. I felt so much around me...so many voices..yet I wanted to feel the joy of bloodshed; to be a weapon.." she whispers loud enough for [member="Ballen-Ist"] to hear yet softly nonetheless.

"What now, Master?"

"The dark side can make you want many things. I can teach you how to wield it properly, how to control it's power," Ballen-Ist spoke to [member="Aveira Dax"], remembering his own training alongside Darth Ferus. Placing his red skinned palms upon the floor, the Knight would push himself up onto his feet, stretching out his arms and back before returning to a relaxed posture.

"It will be difficult. If you cannot handle it, you will break mentally," The Sith warned, a certain technique coming to mind as he spoke. There were many things he could teach the Zeltron, he only hoped she was ready. She did have potential, that much was obvious. "We will be landing on Nar Shaddaa in a few minutes. We can resume training, or perhaps go look for some fun."

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
"Fun? I'm always up for a bit of that" The Zeltron stated then looks up towards her Master before winking. Aveira stood up and remained in front of [member="Ballen-Ist"] .

"What sort of fun do you have in mind?"

"I wanted to visit a cantina in the lower level, and follow up on a lead," the Sith replied to [member="Aveira Dax"], smirking at her more than eager reaction to his suggestion. Ballen-Ist had some connections in the underworld of Nar Shaddaa, mostly with generic crime lords and other Sith operatives. The planet was in Techno Union space, so the One Sith were usually cut some slack when in the area. Either way, he didn't intend on stirring up too much trouble for the Union. Grasping at the large shoulder pads he wore, the Knight would lift the Inquisitor armour he wore off of his torso, leaving him in in his light plated black jumpsuit.

It had a black clothe tunic flowing around it's flexible material, keeping in tune with the Sith look. The dark hood of his attire would be cast over his head, concealing his identity only slightly to those who came across him. "We'll gather information, and perhaps even tackle a few targets. Sound fun?" Ballen-Ist questioned, as he turned from the Zeltron and headed towards the Interceptor's exit.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
Aveira would nod then follow. "As you wish" she came up slightly behind him matching his pace as the neared the exit. The coldness of Nar Shaddaa was quite opposite to what she was used to on Zeltros or on board her previous Master's ship.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
Nods simply to [member="Ballen-Ist"] "As you wish, Master." She'd respond then follows behind him slightly matching his speed. Once outside upon the landing pad, Aveira felt the coldness of Nar Shaddaa.

Stopping as the boarding ramp lowered, Ballen-Ist would turn to cast a glance at [member="Aveira Dax"], realizing how under-dressed she had been the entire time. The Sith would make his way down the metallic plank, walking along the landing pad's catwalk towards the bustling centre market of the sector they had landed in.

"Not that I mind, but if you wanted to buy some clothes or armour or something, that's fine," the Knight would comment to the Zeltron as he strode along the path and eventually into the streets. There were a few ramps that led into different parts of the area, and Aveira only needed to choose where they would head. There was the market where they could grab some supplies, and the lower levels where they could hit up the cantina.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
"Does my appearance upset you?" She'd ask then continues towards the cantina. A hand rests upon the blaster pistol she had used earlier making sure it was ready, just in case.

The sounds of speeders, hover cars and pedestrians crossing by and around them blurred into a background noise that was Nar Shaddaa.

"Hah," Ballen-Ist would scoff, continuing to walk down the tunnel towards the lower levels with [member="Aveira Dax"] by his side. "Only in the sense that you are extremely vulnerable. Just stay close." the Sith said as he emerged from the tunnel, peering across the streets as he ventured forth. They were relatively empty at this time of night, most people having already gone to a cantina or the safety of their home, even if it was a dark alleyway.

There were a few street rats camped out here and there, while some others simply stood in front of establishments, mingling away without a care in the world. The speeders and starships could be heard faintly in the background, drowned out by the towering skyscrapers that enclosed the lower levels like a tomb. "Have you ever encountered a Jedi, Aveira?" Ballen-Ist asked curiously while they walked.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
A small sly smile crosses her face. "It has its advantages, you seem to enjoy distracting yourself with a peek at me every now and again.." she jested lightly although making her point. "I have never met a Jedi before. All I ever knew of Sith or Jedi is rumors and stories." she answers while still following closely. The sound of buzzing speeders grew louder while she kept part of her attention on the street rats and drifters nearby; watching for pickpockets or other forms of trouble makers.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

"Of course," Ballen-Ist admitted, figuring as much was already obvious. Though, he would retort, "You don't mind staring at me either, even when I'm clothed," The Sith teased with a slight smile, remembering how she had acted in the Interceptor. He wouldn't force her to don armour too bulky, for there were suits out there that could easily look good on the Zeltron. A few vehicles would pass by as the duo went on their way along the dimly lit streets, their presence gathering attention as those strewn along the street watched.

"There is a small group of Jedi here on the planet," Ballen-Ist spoke, his tone of voice becoming serious as he continued, "Mostly rebellious apprentices, but there are two Knights rumoured to be the leaders. They were last seen at this cantina," the Sith warned, pivoting on his heel to face a dark alleyway. At the end of it, was a bright light that shone down on a lone entrance leading into the building. "Be on your guard, and keep your senses sharp." Ballen-Ist advised the woman, before stepping into the shadows and towards the ominous entrance.

The door slid open as the duo walked in, followed by everyone in the building pausing to size them up. Aveira probably earned more stares, though that was fine. If he could keep a low profile, then this night would go a lot more smoothly. It would be boring, though. Returning the glare from beneath his hood, Ballen-Ist's eyes would scan the cantina, noticing a booth that was blocked off and laced with blaster bolt scorches. Looked like a gun fight. "Where to start..." He muttered.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
Aveira would probably not notice the stares, or at least she would but not pay much attention towards unless something stood out about it. Perhaps it was a natural talent of her people; she knew that drawing the attention at the right time could help the duo out, especially if focus on the Sith needed to be down played.

Aveira slid behind [member="Ballen-Ist"] as they both passed the bar while the Sith pondered on what to do first. "Two Corellian ales." she orders then digs into a small pouch of those few credits she had left ever since her escape from her previous owner and places them upon the counter. "..make sure they're cold.." she glared at the bald man behind the bar and he returned a glare as if upset a little that she knew he'd grab the warmest ones and sell those first. A grunt was given and he digs two out of the ice box for them.

There were many different kinds of people within the cantina, some sitting in groups while others stood along the wall. It didn't take long for the crowds gaze to subside, their attention returning to whatever drinks they had ordered. Ballen-Ist would laugh quietly as [member="Aveira Dax"] dealt with the bartender, his back leaned against the counter as he carefully surveyed those around. He could not sense any force sensitives in the immediate area other than the Zeltron beside him, who was fishing around for money in hopes of paying their bill.

Craning his neck over his shoulder to peer down at the cold Corellian ale, the Sith would sigh, wishing she had not ordered him one. Ballen-Ist then lifted his arm, taking a hold of the beverage in his gloved hands before sipping it quickly. He fought back the urge to cringe, more accustomed to expensive drinks at high-class establishments on the surface. "What happened there?" The Sith asked as he turned his head slightly, angling it in the direction of the bartender as he pointed a finger at the blocked off booth. "You blind?" The bald man replied irritatedly, obviously not willing to give information without bribery.

Though, through brief examination, Ballen-Ist could tell that some blaster bolts had been deflected, judging by the angle they had travelled on and where they had landed. There were some on the ceiling, and even the wall opposite. It was true that it could have just been sloppy aim, but there was only a few ways to find out. "What do you think?" The young man questioned curiously, as he looked to the Zeltron woman beside him.

Aveira Dax

Weapon of The Dark Side.
The Zeltron looks over towards the direction that the Sith pointed out and notices the shot up booth. "Are your customers THAT unhappy with your service." she shot out then smirks towards the bartender as her eyes shift back towards the bald man. "You'd do well in telling us what happened. We're only here to help, dear." her voice would become more soothing as her face slowly forms into a soft alluring smile.

Aveira's nearest hand runs along the outer thigh of [member="Ballen-Ist"] that was nearest to her while she sweet talked the bartender. Aveira became curious about something. She knew that her pheromones that now releases around her often aided her in swaying the emotions and opinions of others; she now reached out with what limited connection she had active with the force and attempts to use both methods together.

Truthfully, there wasn't much to be told that couldn't already be inferred. Aside from the identities of those involved in this shoot-out, there was not a lot unknown about the incident. It had taken place in front of several people, enough to get the rumours spreading around town. Continuing to sip at the drink he personally found to be disgusting, Ballen-Ist managed to return most of the sideways glances he earned from those about the cantina, a sigh of relief escaping his lips as the customers got the picture.

[member="Aveira Dax"] had begun talking to the bartender, not exactly gaining the Pureblood's attention until the woman's hand started to trail along the side of his leg, causing him to slowly look towards her from the corner of his eye. There had been a unnoticeable change in the air around them too, the Zeltron's pheromones having leaked out in an attempt to sway the grumpy bartender. Ballen-Ist knew he wasn't the target, but it didn't stop him from staring in awe at the woman as she worked her magic.

The force she called upon would also go into play, invading the bartender's mind, slowly but surely convincing him to help out. "Anything for you, dear," the man spoke, his eyes visibly dilated as he continued, "Two troublemakers with lightsabers came in, started harassing one of the local gangs. They got into a fight, and it didn't end well for those thugs," the man said with a chuckle, his mood changed quite drastically. "How about a free round on me?" He even offered. The Knight only rolled his eyes, barely listening to what was being said at that point.
