Underground Shadow Arsenal

OutlawTech
Ostensibly nothing more than another in a long line of shady Terminus based conglomerates, OutlawTech is in fact a public arm of the Outer Rim Intelligence Operations Network. Doing brisk enough business off its consumer level products to maintain a semi-legitimate cover, OutlawTech's true purpose is research and development for Underground agents as well as reverse engineering and intel acquisition of anything recovered from hostile agencies. While its representatives espouse the same meaningless platitudes as their competitors, the true mission statement of the company is to help make impossible missions possible by placing the right tools in the right hands.

Horizon is a small tech company literally run out the garage beneath Yula’s flat on Terminus. Always having an interest in electronics, Yula began tinkering with old droid parts and scrap metal that she’d either salvaged or haggled for in the Outer Rim. While the tinkering lead to plenty of mishaps and a few explosions, eventually the budding technopath managed to construct a working version of a miniature spider droid. This droid lead to other droids, which lead to Yula taking on small projects from her family and friends in the Outer Rim. Recently, she managed to score a contract building droids for the Outer Rim Coalition, which may or may not have had a touch of her mother’s influence.

Tricks of the Trade
MARKETPLACE

Tricks of the Trade was established as an independent side project of Dashiell Kessler, aimed primarily to help fund his chosen lifestyle and facilitate his love of tinkering. The business itself began as a fairly modest, private endeavor that catered almost exclusively to clients gained by word of mouth, filling perhaps no more than half a dozen orders at any one point in time. It has since expanded rapidly within the Terminus underworld, gaining some notable recognition and a burgeoning client base that now extends throughout the sector.

Silk Holdings
Silk’s mandate, as laid down by its founders, is to bring freedom of transportation to the galaxy. Silk has been instrumental in re-connecting far-flung worlds, pulling them out of the isolation of the Dark Age. Its proprietary routes and transportation networks have been the foundation of major governments. Silk charges reasonable tariffs, and pioneered the ‘ugly freighter principle’ espoused by Jorus Merrill: make ships as cheap as possible, and sell them everywhere.

Heartbeat House has expanded steadily over the years and has successfully penetrated the entertainment industry, purchasing and building clubs, brothels, spas and resorts. The company is also heavily involved in providing humanitarian aid to the galaxy, focusing on the enslaved and civilians on war-ravaged worlds. This is marked by the production of numerous clinics, medical ships and aid teams sent to hot zones in order to extract and treat innocents caught in the crossfire of war and other deadly events.
