Sylas was exceptionally grateful he had brought clothes fitting for a trip to Jakku. The heat beat down upon him even wearing a simple tan tunic, so he could hardly imagine what it would feel like to brave the sands wearing his usual dark garb. Despite the nearly unbearable temperatures, Sylas was rather interested in this planet. Word had reached him of a Jedi Enclave based in Jakku, though he was unsure how to access it. The true purpose of his trip, though, was to visit Jedha, which no doubt housed secrets of the Force aplenty. Jakku was merely a stop on the way.
Sylas had landed his Star Courier on the edge of the first village he saw. He had not brought his space yacht, wanting to travel discreetly, but even still the nearby villagers gathered around the ship as he landed. He kept his identity as a noble a secret, merely informing them that he was a traveler from a nearby world. After a bit of socializing, the villagers left him alone, and he leaned against the back of his ship, doing his best to meditate despite the blistering heat. After such attempts failed, he would roam around the village, seeking a local to better inform him on the world.
