Rick Harrison was not having a good day.

His job working at a Commenori high security prison was by most standards horrible. Just this day alone he had to break up two fights, stop a suicide, and was almost stabbed by a rowdy inmate who wielded nothing but a rusty nail he pulled out of the wall with his hands. It was an awful job by almost any measure. Every day was the same or worse than this one, and there was no chance it could get better short of him being transferred back to low sec. He would take that chance at the drop of a hat were it given to him.

The one thing made it all worth it though, bagels. He loved bagels, they made his life worthwhile. Every day on his break he would go to the break room and make himself a bagel. It was what made his life truly worth living. So today as usual, he retrieved a bagel from the break room breadbox, and slid it into the toaster. However it seems that they had recently replaced the toasters, he did not mind, a new toaster meant higher quality toast. So he set the dial to his normal temperature, and slid down the paddle.

What happened next was not what somebody normally assumed would happened when somebody turned on their toaster. No in fact it was probably the opposite of what one normally thought of when they used a toaster, it blew up; and not in the small fire way, no, this was a massive explosion. It rocked the whole building and put a massive hole in the exterior wall.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lyra Sarn was also in the prison, however, she was nowhere near the break room, and that was very intentional. She had slipped into the prison by stashing herself in a shipment of metal plates for the prison workshop, silently slipping out when nobody was looking. She then stashed herself in the ventilation system, and was currently crawling through just above the door control room. She had a general plan, when she received the signal she would drop down, take out the two door control guards in the chaos of the explosion, and start a riot. In the riot she would take out her target, grab a tooth for proof, and leave.

Lyra wore a prototype armor suit she had been working on, the helmet looked somewhat like a gas mask, however it was significantly more obscuring. She carried a blaster pistol a nightstick and just in case, a good old fashioned butterfly knife. For other equipment she had a data jack, wrist computer, signal interceptor, two concussion grenades, and a toolkit full of various screwdrivers, leverage devices, and a cutting torch.

She was after one Grigori Izek, a bounty hunter who had fallen on the wrong side of the Hutt Cartel, and who now had a very sizable bounty on his head. The only problem was that he was locked up in prison, and the Hutts wanted him dead. Lyra intended to start a wide scale prison riot before killing the guy, taking his tooth, and hauling it out of there. She had a beacon that would call her getaway driver at a moments notice. She needed to grab the tooth and get out of there, nothing more.

The signal finally came as the entire building shook with an explosive force enough to destroy a small to medium sized building. The two door control guards started talking to each other before escalating to confused shouting. Lyra seeing her chance kicked out the vent cover and tossed a concussion grenade into the room. The two men realized too late what had happened and before they could do anything they had been completely blinded and deafened by the grenade. Lyra dropped down and blasted both of them, running over to the door control panel. They were extremely complex, however two big buttons stood out, a big blue one which opened every door, and a big red one which initiated a lockdown, not having time to pick and choose, she pressed the big blue unlock button, and blasted out the red one to ensure nobody initiated a premature lock-down.

What happened next was obvious. The only outcome when a bunch of pent up high risk prisoners are given sudden freedom. A riot.

Before the cruiser even touched down on the landing pad, Mac jumped from the cruiser and sprung into action, landing with a heavy thud. The explosion had rocked all of Chasin City and created a huge breach in the district maximum security prison. He had gotten to the prison as soon as he could, leaving a sizable garrison of the Royal Guard to protect the royal family should this explosion be some sort of diversion. Be that as it may, this situation was too dangerous to not investigate personally. Though the seven foot tall giant looked more like a mercenary than the Head of Security, Mac automatically assumed authority and started barking orders without breaking a stride to the squadron of Royal Guards he brought with him and the few Riot Police that awaited him on the platform. "Let's move boys!"

Mac motioned to the Captain of the Riot Police to follow him as he walked briskly to the prison. "Ok Captain, what's the situation here?"

"Well sir, there was a large explosion of some kind in the westward break room. There are four confirmed casualties but there may be more, the breach it created was huge. The security guards called us as soon as it happened, apparently one of the switches tripped in the explosion and opened all the cells though it might have been done manually. The guards were able to lock down some of the sectors as soon as the backup generator kicked in but the breach is still massive."

"Have half your men create a perimeter with a two block radius, I want no one coming in or out until I give the all-clear." Mac then called back to the squadron that was following him. "You hear that boys? We got a farking mess on our hands! Set your blasters to stun for now, stick tight and keep formation." And with that, Mac unholstered his axes and ran into the prison, quickly followed by the squadron of Royal Guards. The great bear was about to bring the hammer down.

"Emergency alert from the Commenor Prison - this is bad..." The comm officer of the commanding ship of two Royal-class Cruisers in the area, including itself. The helmsman walked over to the comms officer, getting his attention, "Why, what's going on down there?" "It's the prison that holds the assassin that tried to kill Lady Kay... there was a massive explosion opening it up, the alarm sounded a prison riot," the comm officer repeated to the helmsman what he read off the screen. The helmsman took control of the situation immediately, "get King Eddak on the line, priority. Meanwhile, call the other cruiser to our formation, head to Commenor. Get the Captain up here, and get a message to that prison, see what's going on." GDI was in full support of CSA and COmmenor, but they had absolutely no jurisdiction on the prison, nor to drop troops on Commenor, there would have to be an emergency confirmation by the commanders of the prison, or an executive order by Queen Lady Kay for them to touch down, but that didn't mean they would do everything they could to assist.

Message to Commenor Prison
"This is the GDI Royal-class Cruiser 'Executor,' what's going on down there? Do you require assistance?"

Communication with Eddak Manod
"King, we have an emergency situation"
"What's going on? Spill it."
"It's the Commenor High Priority Prison, the one holding Lady Kays attemptor assassin. There's a prison riot."
"What?! I'm heading back home from Coruscant, I'll be there shortly. Don't let this get out of hand before I get there!"
"Understood King Eddak, Helmsman Jericho out."

Stardust was on one of her many many runs to comment for the tea and to deliver some grains to the planet, her ship pulled into the dock and got secured as unloading begun of the crates and loading also began as well. Stardust departed as she slowly walked towards the city before her inhaling the air as she sighed out. The place always was welcoming to her at least. She stopped as her comm went off

ma'am there appears to be a situation at a maximum security prison....large breach within the prison

so? Let the security forces do their work, not like we have to worry about any-

it's the prison that is holding the man who tried to assassinate queen kay there was a long pause as stardust frowned and turned back, the man chuckled I'll have your speeder ready

quicker then I am, you sure your not force sensitive

A chuckle could be heard and that was it, Stardust arrived to a speeder bike set out for her, she didn't have any weapons except for her sabers. She got onto her freighter and into her personal room as she secured her westars and her sword nova as she started out for the bike. Jumping on she quickly took off heading for the prison

She glanced around the land as the building stopped, in the distance she could see smoke. She hoped ahe wasn't late at all to this...only reason she was going was because if that thing got free it'll be no doubt greatly upset. She slowed down as she approched a few man guarding the rode to the prison. She stood off her bike as she grabbed her helmet. She identified herself then out her helmet on as she secured it

send a message to the man in charge, tell him Stardust raxis has arrived to help deal with this...imclude that I am part of the order

With that she keot going forward ready to eliminate this issue...and should the chance arrive....kill the failed assassin

The Warden had barricaded himself along with a few lucky prison guards in his office as chaos stormed throughout the prison. Somehow, the guards in the control room were ambushed and killed, leaving the entire prison vulnerable. The door was left open and a couple white-collar criminals quickly figured out how to open up the few sectors that were initially locked down and unlocked the fortified door to the prison armory as well. Having acquired stun batons, electrostaffs, and a few blasters, the prisoners outnumbered and now outgunned the prison security force. The old Warden concluded that there was nothing left to do but to barricade the office door and sound a distress signal, hoping for something close to a miracle from whatever gods he believed in.

He didn't get an answer from any gods, but he did get one from the GDI Royal-class Cruiser 'Executor'.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Mac and his squadron ran into tougher resistance than he was expecting. He figured that after a few beatings, maybe a couple deaths, most of the prisoners would have their fill and return to their cells. But this was not the case. The hope of freedom made by the gaping breach was so large that even the most veteran and accustomed prisoner would try his luck in the riot. This was only exacerbated by the fact that the majority of the prisoners got their hands on some kind of weapon by now. It appears that the armory had been looted.

Mac had made slow progress in infiltrating the complex. It would be useless to get the prisoners back in their cells without someone in the control room to keep the cell doors closed. Instead, Mac's primary goal was to contain the breach before the prisoners could spill out and escape into the city. The mixed force of Riot Police and Royal Guards had taken position on top of the rubble of where the exterior wall had partially collapsed, standing as the only barrier between freedom and thousands of prisoners. The criminals, mostly armed with rocks or batons or pipes, charged the position that Mac's team held at the top of the rubble. With both axes in hand, the ex-gladiator gave pause to some of the prisoners as he cut down those who approached him. Mac expected that Kay would be displeased with him killing the prisoners, but this situation is dangerously close to turning from a prison riot to a full scale insurrection. The giant looked around and gauged his force of about thirty men. He needed reinforcements now.

Suddenly Mac received a call from the Warden.

~Sir, the GDI Royal-class Cruiser 'Executor' has heard my distress call and has offered assistance to quell the riot. They need your permission to land, what do I tell them?~

Mac paused for a moment, thinking over the situation as his team laid down suppressing stun fire. Would he grant this ship permission to engage Commenori citizens? Even if they were prisoners, Kay might not be happy with his decision. Mac didn't know a whole lot about what side this Royal-class Cruiser belonged to. Mac looked around again as more prisoners spewed out onto the main yard and rushed the breach in the wall. But did he have a choice? The Warden interrupted his silence.

~Sir, there is something that you should know. This prison houses someone who tried to assassinate Lady Kay.~

That was the final straw. This whole mess could've been started to spring that prisoner from his cell. Mac's main duty was to protect Lady Kay from the threat of personal harm and so he will.

~Tell the cruiser that they have permission to grant necessary assistance.~

Before Mac could reflect on if he made the right decision, there was another incoming call.

~What is it now?

~Sorry to interrupt sir, but there appears to be a Jedi on her way to the prison to assist you. She said her name is Stardust Raxis and is...part of the order?~

Great, now a force user was on her way as well. Uninvited. Though he supposed that now was not the time to pick and choose his reinforcements, and for how much he disliked and even feared force users, even he must admit that one or two would be pretty handy right now.

~Just keep a tight perimeter alright? Hold your position and make sure no one escapes. This is gonna be a bumpy ride~

Lauri never liked it when his squad was called on to deal with mundane tasks, such as patrolling sectors which were known to be safe. They made his men less ready for fighting, made them think all their assignments were going to be easy. It didn't help they were almost all recruits that had never seen combat. This was not one of those tasks.

His men hae been on patrol near the maximum security prison when an explosion left his men scrambling for cover. The prison was breached and his company was closest. He wasted no time in reorganizing his forces and began moving towards the prison. When the official order to move in came through he was already halfway there. Prison security had not yet been notified, at least to his knowledge of a company of infantry men coming in to support.

Lauri caontacted the prison command.

"Attention prison command. Hold your ground, and do not let any prisoner escape. My company is moving to support you."

Arriving at the prison, Rex very quickly assess the situation, realizing he can only help if he can get inside, he quickly approaches an officer "excuse me sir, might I speak with your commander?" The officer quickly replies "No you cannot speak to my superior", Sighing Rex manages to see [member="Stardust Raxis"] and approaches her before she enters the prison complex "excuse me, Stardust, It's me Rex, I want to help but," pointing to the officers "They won't let me in"

Two years.

Two years had Sareen inhabited this hell hole. All spent behind some of the highest security precautions within the Commenorian High Security Prison. The honor of being one of the most hated criminals on the planet wore off as the punishment for his crimes set in. Solitary imprisonment, for life, all for the crimes of flying a spaceship into the Commenori royal palace, and conspiracy to kill the queen, on many occasions. Of course only the most recent counted, but Sareen had no doubts that the jury had considered his former attempts to capture and kill [member="Lady Kay"] when deciding his fate.

When he had first been thrown into the Queen's personal prison cells, Sareen had been broken. Being captured was the highest dishonor for a Trandoshan. When you are imprisoned by an enemy, all the Jagganath points you have acquired through the hunts of your mortal life, are wiped. Your standing with the Scorekeeper, gone. But instead of devolving into madness, or giving in to his punishment, Sareen grew strong once again. His anger festered into determination, into a plan. Sareen had been too rash before, giving into his impulses, but now he would be more careful, more articulate. Sareen would exact his revenge on Queen Kay Arenais, but it would be drawn out, and he wouldn't fail, not again.

Sareen had trained to the best of his abilities in the small room he had been detained to for the last two years. Preparing himself for his escape, for his grand plan not only to kill [member="Lady Kay"], but to bring him the glory and wealth he had always sought out for. But it seemed the Scorekeeper had a different plan for him.

When doing his normal meditations, a practice he had picked up to counter the anger he had developed over the last half decade, a familiar beep and swivel sounded. He opened his eyes to reveal his prison door had unlocked and opened. Sareen had memorized the times at which he was let out, only twice a day, once for a twenty minute outdoors time, where he stood alone in a dirt patch no larger than his cell, and a therapy session behind blast proof plastiglass. Now was not one of those times. Sareen hesitated only momentarily, as he recognized the opportunity as an offer of redemption by the Scorekeeper. Sareen whispered a small prayer, and bounded out of his cell, into a hallway shared by all the worst criminals of Commenor. Before Sareen could escape, he had a hunger to satiate, one that had waited much too long. Sareen sprinted towards the more public cells and ran into a large riot occurring between prisoners, guards, and other prisoners, each having scores to settle. Sareen almost literally dove in, brandishing his claws and teeth like that of a wild animal, ready to kill.

The plan went swimmingly, just as planned the hole in the wall provided a goal for the rowdy prisoners and a distraction for authorities, most of the guards would be locking down the big breach, which left the interior relativley unguarded, giving her the perfect opportunity to track her query. This went better than she ever could have planned.

She grabbed a keycard off one of the dead guards and plugged the data jack into his datapad stripping it of its contents, it might come in useful later. Now she had to find her prey in the massive mob. The only issue with that was that she didnt exactly know what the guy looked like, that would have to be resolved soon before things got too violent. She slipped out the back door, being sure to slip by any guards as she progressed forward. She knew that there was a protocol droid somewhere in the prison, she had heard it when she was in the crate, all she had to do was find it.

She slipped from quiet hallway to quiet hallway, being sure to avoid the main riot and therefore any guards. Eventually she found her prey, a silver protocol droid haplessly bumbling around in the corridor, alone. She walked up to it like she was supposed to be there, protocol droids tended to be rather stupid when it came to deception, they assumed everyone was telling the truth unless they were told otherwise. Perfect for her.

"Why hello Sergeant Richards! What brings you to this part of the prison? More importantly, what is with the strange getup?" The droid asked.

Apparently the keycard automatically identified her to the droid, useful to know in the future.

"This is riot control gear, standard getup for my position in this situation, now I need to ask you something, this is really important, I need you to watch that door behind me, dont take your eyes off of it." She said slowly moving behind the droid.

This particular model had an exposed data port, perfect.

"Why yes I wont let you down!" The droid said rather enthusiastically.

Lyra at that moment stuck her data jack into its port, shutting the droid down and putting it into maintenance mode. A few moments later she had near complete access to the droids memory. She ran a search for her prey, and like magic she had all the information she needed. He was held in protective solitary, and she had his mug shot. More than good enough for her. She then took a moment to wipe the droids memory of their interaction, she didn't want anyone to know that there was a dead person running around. She then rigged the droid to remain offline for about 5 minutes more than enough time.

Lyra now slipped away from the droid towards the solitary block, this would take her right into the heat of things, it was for the better, she could use the chaos of the riots to hide her assassination.

Harli was kneeling behind a pile of rubble she was using as cover. The breach had turned into a hornets nest as a near endless stream of prisoners rushed her position. Blue stun bolts rang out from her carbine with deadly accuracy. The majority of her shots were meant only to slowdown and deter the rioters.

The prisoners sheer numbers weren't making things any better. In fact it seemed to encourage them even more. Harli's attention turned to more high values targets. Prisoners with blasters or make shift weapons were targeted first. Followed by anyone who got to close to her position. From where she stood, though, things were looking pretty bleak.

Deciding he has had enough waiting Rex jumps over the police line, while also using force persuasion the highest rank guard there to allow him through the rest of the building, he runs into [member="Harli Hayes"] pinned down "Here to help if you need it", deflecting some blaster bolts from a prisoner with one of the dead guards pistols back towards two other prisoners with his lightsabre, "I don't want to kill you" he says using force persuasion "Just put down your arms and surrender peacefully" I hope this works
