Unable to open notifications

like the heading suggests, I am unable to open my notifications. This is an ongoing problem I have had for a while, before however it was tolerable but now I can't view them at all.

This mainly happens on my writers account, my alts did not experience this issue at all, but now they are as well. I can't really give you a screen shot cause there is nothing to show other than the loading rotating arrows.

The site is lagging on me as well, which probably is a part of the issue. Not sure if this is happening to anyone else. I don't believe it is my net, as the net is working just fine on other sites etc.

I am on Chrome: Version 64.0.3282.186 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Are you on Discord?

If you right click and go into your notifications you can see all of the notifications. See if there are any with special characters or emoticons there.

I can see them if I open link in new tab, they come up. At least that is something, but there is no special characters or emoticons.

Can you clear out the notifications you have saved and retry?

I have never done that since I joined the site. Gawddd...

In my experience it's one dodgy one which causes this, and often you can't tell easily which it is.
