How Ulani's Sephi parents ended up on the remote Wild Space world of Yanibar and why the highly isolationist inhabitants accepted them is a secret she has never shared, if she knows at all. Ulani was raised on Yanibar, with only obscure scraps of memories of a life before arrival on the harsh planet.OVERVIEW
Her father had the Sephi knack for engineering, and helped design and improve technology, while Ulani's mother was an artist, creating from the planets meager materials. While they still clung closely to the mindset of their homeworld, slightly arrogant with a bit of a superiority complex when it came to their neighbors, their daughter assimilated much more of the local culture.
A local Zeison Sha adept identified an untapped sensitivity to the Force in Ulani, and campaigned for her to be taken in to learn the ways of their discipline. It took quite a bit convincing, both of Ulani's parents and the Zeison Sha leadership, to allow her to train, but in the end, the adept succeeded.
Highly intelligent, adaptable and trainable, the young Ulani became skilled in telekinesis and the use of the discblade. But, being raised mostly on Yanibar, Ulani shared the locals sentiment for protecting family, though not to the zealous extent of her Zeison Sha brothers and sisters. Her Sephi blood desired to see more, experience more than the rock that was Yanibar provided.
Taking the skills she had mastered, Ulani left to find a new life in the galaxy. Little did she know how much of both her parents and her upbringing on Yanibar had truly become a part of her. Ulani is a versatile operative, capable of pulling off anything from a wilderness transport raid to a high-society heist.

APPEARANCE
Ulani's has a lean form wrapped in whipcord muscle. Hazel eyes are framed by long black hair that is typically bound into a ponytail or braids, especially on a job. Her deep mocha-colored skin is nearly flawless, even given her trade, without scar or tattoo. Her long-lived Sephi blood makes her appear a bit younger than she is.
Ulani prefers to wear earth-tone leather, or reinforced fiberweave armor. While armament worn may vary, she will always have her discblade hanging from her belt.

PERSONALITY
Ulani's unusual combination of rugged Zeison Sha upbringing and Sephi heritage left her with something like a 'noble criminal' persona. She has focused on honing specific skills and carefully chosen 'nefarious activities" with higher end targets.
Ulani has a natural aversion to authority, and like most Zeison Sha, has a dislike for jedi.
She possesses a Sephi arrogance that is more unconscious than deliberate. However, she is fiercely loyal to any person or group that she connects with, and will even place them before herself when it comes to the rewards or loot from her activities.

Discblade Mastery: Ulani is highly adept at the unique Zeison Sha weapon. With the use of telekenetics, she can wield the discblade with savage accuracy against a number of opponents.
Rugged While Sophisticated: With skills that help her excel in both rugged conditions and high-social affairs, Ulani can conduct a wide variety of jobs.

Ulani's only Force training is from the Zeison Sha, and is focused entirely in the area of telekinesis. She is highly skilled in a variety of aspects of telekenisis, and employs it with exceptional skill to wield her discblade. The only other Force ability Ulani has learned is imbues her discblades with the Force.
