Strengths:
- Yes Blasters: The duarteel plating on the top side provides good protection again blaster fire and decent protection against slug throwers.
- Easy to fix: The simple design and plate armor makes the gloves easy to maintain or repair when damaged, putting ease on supply and demand.
- No EMP Protection: Being just a simple set or armored gloves there is no EMP protection to the user unless they self equipment some sort of Ion/EMPR.

With the increase in size of the Tythish military the need for some basic infantry equipment for more broad use was needed, the start of this small line of mass produced products was a simple set of armored gloves for all branches of the armed forces. Quickly easy and reliable the TME (Tythish Military Equipment) became the standard set of hand gloves used throughout the many guard regiments and units used by the principality.
