DESCRIPTION
A particularly nasty weapon from Mercenary arms, the Typhon Rotary Cannon pairs a laser and ion cannon into a single mounting, giving each triple barrels for cooling during rapid fire and combining the lasers with ion shots. This allows the operator to fire either, or both types of fire at will. Like most ship and vehicle weapons, the Typhon ties directly into the power supply of the platform It's mounted to.

The Typhon is a versatile weapon, able to be mounted to fighters, vehicles, defense installations, and capital ships. Each barrel and chamber is lined with ostrine to assist with cooling, while the rest of the weapon is made of duramentium for its toughness and ability to take counter fire without immediately being disabled.
