BIOGRAPHY:
T3-J6 worked on a passenger liner for most of his early service, helping passengers unlock their doors when keys were forgotten or fixing broken or worn systems until a band of pirates attacked and took him for their own. There his duties were much the same but extended to weapon maintenance, loot cataloging, and aggressive slicing during boarding actions. Often resulting in oxygen being vented or power conduits overloaded. This continued until the band was captured by a Republic Customs ship, whereupon the little droid was used as evidence before being consigned to being melted down. However he was rescued by a commando unit needing to get a good droid discreetly. He was upgraded with a better combat package and several new attachments such as his mini flame thrower or light shield. He fought alongside the SIS unit throughout the Cold War, assisting them with combat slices and field repairs. His crowning moment came when after he was left behind as his unit retreated through a vertical access tube (ladders), T3 attempted to escape destruction by pretending to be a repair droid belonging to the instillation. A persuing Sith found him and bought the ruse, later using him to fix his personal ship which had been damaged in the raid. Finding himself with virtually unlimited access to the ship's computer, T3-J6 copied as much of it as he could before commandeering the craft and escaping back to Republic space. For all his heroism and stunning capture of enemy secrets, T3 was rewarded by having the best maintenance he'd ever received before being deactivated and stuck in a museum or passed from collector to collector for the next three and a half thousand years.

Seeking a possible connection to ancient sith secrets, the droid was found, restored, and reactivated by Imperial intelligence. However upon finding that the information had been deleted by SIS upon the droid's return, Darth Vader threw him from the Imperial Center after the little T3 squirted him with oil and tried to set him on fire. Free-form flying was a new and unpleasant experience for the utility bot, landing even more so. For days he limed around, stealing power and attempting to fix himself before finding a kindly mechanic who took pity on him and finished the repairs he couldn't do himself. From there he was sold into the care of a group of Bothans who looked to be in the same line of work as his SIS friends, and after a high risk mission to steal the plans for some type of battle sphere during which many of the Bothans died, he fled the unit before he could be rewarded with another stint in a museum. Resolving that it was best to be his own master from then on, he sliced into a few banks, creating a false identity for his new 'master.' Then he signed on as a ship mechanic, always jumping ship and moving on to another whenever people began to grow suspicious of never seeing his owner come check up on him.
