Private Two and a Half Jedi

Theed Royal Courtyard
Naboo
Image-1.jpg
Shortly after handling a border dispute on Milagro, Cas and his Padawan Yenna were contacted by the Jedi Council and assigned on another mission. Due to their relatively close proximity to Naboo and being the only Jedi near the Chommell sector, they were requested to assist Jedi Master Adrian Valerius on an assignment involving some kind of cult presence on Naboo. Eager to get his Padawan more field experience, he accepted without hesitation.

Following their arrival at Theed, Cas and Adrian would agree to meet at the Royal Courtyard. The Jedi Knight himself was excited to explore Naboo due to never having been to the beautiful planet before. As the Kiffar and little green life form passed a fountain, Cas turned his head to look down at Yenna beside him - "Look, Yen. I know me and you have fun and our relationship is a little informal, I want you to show respect to Master Valerius and be on your best behaviour, 'kay?" he commanded in a half-stern half-lighthearted manner.

Finally approaching the Jedi Master, Cas would bow respectfully at Adrian before extending his gloved hand out "Master Valerius, I'm Cas Tynen and this is my Padawan Yenna. We've been assigned to assist you on your mission, but you already knew that." Cas greeted with a slight chuckle and a relaxed smirk.

Yenna hadn't been to Naboo in a while, so when she heard they would be going there she was quite happy. It was a beautiful planet...not to mention very easy pickings. This was also a great chance to spend time with Cas which she appreciated. Despite being her master, their relationship wasn't very developed.

She matched Cas' speed as they walked through the courtyard. It was a rather peaceful day and were it not for them having to meet someone, she would rather have the two of them just chill around, have a drink and do stuff together. She was already having all kinds of theories as to what these 'missions' was that Cas had been running off for. Compelling theories, if she looked at the evidence. She had more than her fair share of questions with no time to actually ask them with how things have been going as of late. She looked up at him as he spoke to her. She gave a nod, fighting back the smug grin she wanted to show. "Of course master. To behave around him, I know how." she reassured him casually. This was going to be a fun meeting...

They finally reached Master Valerius and Cas gave a deep bow. Her mischievous golden eyes looked at Cas then at Adrian before she chuckled. "Look fat, that coat makes you, Master Valerius." she commented casually as she looked at his outfit. "Perhaps, around the lower chest area, a tighter fit next time?" she commented further as she looked up at him. While Adrian might not take much offense of her criticism, it might sound rather bad for Cas who was still well out of the loop. She took a sip of her flask and flashed a happy grin. "Good to see you again." she finally said with a bow before looking up at Cas.

As the two Jedi approached Adrian, the Jedi master had a casual conversation with a bunch of local Naboo politicians. Adrian stopped mid-sentence when he heard both his title and last name, could only be Jedi business. Yet, Adrian just continued his conversation, "I can't believe he embarrassed himself like that, oh the scandal that must have caused!" Joked Adrian with a cheeky smirk, not reacting any further to Cas's introduction.

Even Yenna's greeting got ignored and the two Jedi could basically just have been two status in a garden for the rich. The conversation continued for about twenty or so minutes more, before the other politicians said farewell to Adrian, bowed or curtsied, before leaving. "Politicians never ceases to amaze me in how backstabbing and cutthroat they truly are. The moment you offer them just a little bit of power and they'll all prancing around like well-trained pups. It almost makes me miss home. Almost" commented the Jedi Master, who, as he turned around didn't look like a typical Jedi Master.

Wearing a stylish tailored suit with an open v-shape cut in the front, revealing a bit of his fair smooth caramel skin. Over his right arm, he held the bottom of his cape, who was connected in a way, so that it covered only the right side, if not held over an arm. The stylish black clothes had pure-gold weaved into the shoulder pads and edges, delivering a very specific theme of nobility. Covering his throat and neck, was a lavish collar made out of gold, along with a piece of golden ear jewellery in the left ear and a bunch of gold rings. Along with faint black eyeliner, making his eyes stand out and black nails, Adrian did not in a million years match that of a Jedi Master of the Silver Order.

Looking first at Cas, his eyes started to scan the poor boy, giving him a thorough look over, "hmmm, yes pretty on the eyes," started Adrian as he started to circle Cas, "cute butt, strong shoulders. Yes, I think you will do just fine" concluded Adrian as if Cas had been judged by a fashion judge. Then he turned his gaze to Yenna and a smirked formed, "you wound me, Padawan Yen, I have you know, I eat exactly the right amount of calories! With the exception of pudding. That stuff is heaven" Said Adrian with another smirk of his. "And to you, my little friend" greeted Adrian finally.

Cas' brow furrowed as he slowly and awkwardly retracted his hand and placed it back on his side when Adrian ignored his introduction. To make matters worse, Yen's comments about Adrian's weight caused the Knight to slap his palm on his face before dragging it down to his mouth. Then she greeted him as if they knew each other, prompting Cas to whip his head in her direction. He'd have to find out more when Adrian finished his conversation.

Unsurprisingly, Adrian ignored her as well, continuing his conversation with the Naboo politicians. When eight minutes had passed, Cas grew impatient, throwing his head back and groaning, facing his Padawan he looked down at her and glanced at an ice cream hover stand not far off. Tilting his head in the direction of it, he winked at Yen and motioned for her to follow him.

In the time it took for the Master and Padawan to leave, get their ice cream, and come back - Adrian was still in deep discussion with the politicians. Licking his ice cream, he watched the exchange but addressed Yenna "So, how long do you think this'll last?" he asked. A few minutes would go by before he was finally finished with his conversation - "Finally." he mouthed to his Padawan, licking his ice cream still, he got a better look at Adrian and was surprised by his... stylistic choices, not the traditional robed Jedi Master he'd find, but he kinda dug it.

However, his analysing over Cas made him slightly uncomfortable, particularly the comment on his butt which prompted the Knight to quickly cover it with his free hand. The familiarity between Adrian and Yen reminded him of the question he was going to ask before they got ice cream - pointing his gloved finger at the two he asked "So, what's the story with you two then?" Cas then glared at Yenna "And why wasn't I told sooner?" he said, addressing Yenna in an accusatory manner.

Cas might have been getting annoyed with Adrian's lack of acknowledgement, but Yenna simply folded her arms and glanced up at him. He gestured to an ice cream parlor nearby and Yenna gave him a mischievous look before following after him. She jumped onto his shoulder and hitched a ride towards the parlor where they got themselves some tasty stuff. Yenna was quite relaxed with the whole ordeal, not letting herself get worked up by Adrian's antics.

By the time they got back, he was still busy. Cas asked about how long he'd still be busy and Yenna glanced at Adrian. "They're finishing, sounds like." she commented, nodding to the Jedi and the politicians. She kept quiet and snickered away at Adrian's comments of his diet and kept an eye on him as he inspected Cas. Watching them interact was going to be hilarious. Cas didn't seem amused though, as he asked about their relations. Yenna was still pretty relaxed until Cas dropped his last comment. The padawan turned to Cas, finished her cone and rested her hands on her hips as she eyed Cas right back. "Want to interrupt you on your "secret mission" I did not." she fired right back with a tone matching his, raising an eyebrow as she glared at him with skeptical golden eyes. "Though, to talk about these 'missions', not the time this is." she said, dismissing the situation. "While you were gone, assigned to aid Master Valerius in his studies, I was." she continued, pulling out her flask and taking a sip.

She looked back to Adrian and then to Cas once more. "Shall we move on? she asked him with a casual tone, wanting to get back to the mission at hand. She had a feeling she and Cas were going to have a little chat at the end of this mission.

Placing his index finger on his closed lips, while resting the elbow on the other arm, giving him a look of a judge at a talent show. "Don't be shy of your body sweetheart" commented Adrian with a chuckle, when Cas tried to cover his ass. It really didn't matter that Cas tried to hide his butt, Adrian had already seen it and knew exactly what would bring out his features. Hearing Cas's question, "ah yes, quite the exciting mission your Padawan and I went on. Ancient tomb, dangerous tomb monsters, all in good fun" said Adrian casually, walking back to face both Jedi.

The mention of Cas going on a secret mission did catch Adrian's ear and he also caught the fact that it made Yenna annoyed. He would have to remember to ask her for the good parts if she knew more. But that could wait, they had shopping to get to, before the party! "Yes, let's. Since both of you don't even wear fashionable clothing for the ball, is a crime of itself!" expressed the Jedi Master as he guided them towards a street in the very, very rich area. Only the elite and royal members could afford things at the shops, as Adrian led them past many stylish and fancy shops. All manners of items were sold at the different shops in the street.

When they finally stopped, they entered a tailor's shop, called The Peacock's Flower. "Ah, Master Valerius! So happy to see you again. And I see you brought friends with you, greetings!" Greeted a man in a sharp beautifully and very stylish suit. The man looked to be around mid-forties. "What can I do for you today?" Asked the tailor has he placed his hands behind his back.

"Yes, for you see, we're invited to The Ruby Ball, but sadly my darling companions here seem to have forgotten their fashion at home, and we simply cannot go without freshening them up in a new look" explained Adrian, as if Cas and Yenna had caused great harm to fashion itself.

"Ah, I see. No no no, we can't have that" agreed the tailor and went to work and started with Cas. Cas would soon be lightly pushed over to three body-tall mirrors, standing on a pedestal and measured from top to bottom. Meanwhile, another one, working at the table did the exact same for Yenna, guiding her over to her own pedestal with three windows and was measured for a dress.

Meanwhile, Adrian sat down in a comfortable sofa chair, placing one leg over the other and started to read in some holo-Magasin, while waiting for the tailors to finish.

Adrian was... quite the character, he'd heard things about him back at Silver Rest but no amount of rumours and gossip could have prepared the young Knight for Adrian's eccentric personality.

Yenna's snide comment about his 'secret missions' earned her a glare - ready to scold her, she quickly switched topics and explained that while he was gone she was assigned to help Adrian which was also confirmed by Valerius himself, that was how they knew each other. Acknowledging her answer, Cas gave his Padawan a light nod. Cas couldn't lie, ancient tombs and tomb monsters sounded fun.

Finishing his ice cream cone, Cas glanced at Adrian in bewilderment "Wait what? A ball?" he asked following behind Adrian "And what's wrong with my--?!" Cas rolled his eyes and shook his head, stopping himself halfway through his sentence, right now he'd just see what Adrian was planning. Adrian led them to a tailor shop, which looked insanely fancy... and pricey - could he even afford anything in here with his non-existent Jedi salary? Cas stood slightly off to the side, behind Adrian as he engaged in conversation with one of the tailors, scowling at the Jedi Master for dissing his clothing choices.

Without any say, Cas was pushed off onto a pedestal in front of some mirrors - "Watch it!" he snapped at the tailor as he whipped his head around to look at him with a frown. As he was being measured and fitted for formal attire, Cas called out to Yenna "Ruby Ball, huh? I... didn't see my day going this way." he confessed, the Knight smirked to himself "At least we get some new outfits." Cas added, trying to look on the bright side of things "You're paying, right?" he asked, addressing Adrian.

Yenna Yenna Adrian Valerius

At this point the tension between Yenna and her master was becoming thicker and thicker. As Cas glared at her she returned the look, her golden eyes filled with annoyance. She was practically challenging him to try and scold her. Thankfully he dropped the subject and they moved on to go get some proper attire for a supposed ball. Yenna's eyes went wide in shock. "Ball? Joking, you are, right? Go to a ball, I can't!" she cried out with distress as she looked at Adrian. But nobody was stopping to listen to her now, so she tagged along.

By the tailors she kept trying to figure out how to convince the two masters on how to skip out. "Go to a ball, I can't! Look at me!" she tried to protest again with them. "Look better than me, even a bantha with lipstick will!" she explained with concern. "Besides, the drinks at those balls, you've seen? Walking out of that with a thousand credits and a hangover, I will be!" she continued with them. She pried away from the tailor and walked over to her master where she grabbed onto his pant leg with both hands and looked up to him. "Please, sit this one out, can I?" she asked him with worried eyes. She knew full well that having her go to a luxurious ball will not bode well for her or the Jedi order's reputation.

She looked to Adrian and then to Cas. "Come on! Agree with me you have to! Too bad for a ball, I look!" she kept trying to weasel out. Her recent trip with Adrian might have given her a bit of a boost in confidence, but she was still way too nervous and self-conscious to go to something as lavish as this.

The tailor just gave Cas a million credits smile, but didn't comment on his snap and continued with measuring and fitting the Jedi Knight. While Cas was much easier to work with, Yenna on the other hand, took quite long as she kept moving her arms when explaining or pleaded with Cas or Adrian. "My lady, please stand still as I measuring you" commented the tailor a bit frustrated by the small girl's stature.

Suffice to say, both tailors got their measurements on both Jedi and left to start the process. Adrian looked up from his holo-Magasin and saw the small girl hyping herself up and not in a healthy way. Placing the holo-Magasin down on the small table beside the sofa chair, he rose from his seat and walked over to Yenna. Kneeling down, so he was at her level, a heartwarming smile formed, "my friend, you will look absolutely breathtaking in your dress. I promise you, you will look like a star, bring out your beautiful golden eyes and smooth exotic dark green skin" reassured Adrian, placing his index finger under her chin and thumb on it.

Both tailors returned with some examples for both Jedi, all examples would be hand-fitted for them, but it would give Cas and Yenna some idea on what type of dress or suit they liked. Looking at the tailors for a second, before looking back at the small green Padawan. "will you at least do it for me, my friend? I need your amazing personality by my side. Will you do me the honour?" Asked Adrian gently, caressing Yenna's cheek with his hand, he moved up to her left cheek.

If she agreed to go to the Ruby Ball, Adrian would plant a small, but a sweet kiss on her forehead as a gesture of thanks. If not, he would change tactic, telling her if she agreed to go, he would personally send her a batch of fine liquor her way and that he and Cas needed up help to do the mission.

Whichever option Yenna took, Adrian would just continue to try and convince the little padawan to go. He would not show any kind of frustration and always gave her a smile or showed a very understanding view of her thoughts and worries.

Nevertheless, the first type of suit was presented for Cas, "this is for those who would like a bit of wilderness with them, without going overboard in it. It shows that you're laid back, without sacrificing style" explained the tailor to Cas, holding a holo-catalogue for him to see. "This is particularly favourable to those of royalty" explained the tailor, showing the next suggestion. The third suggestion was shown, "and then we have this masterwork of art, for those who like to set a statement. and lastly, I think you might find this particularly fashionable if you like the attention" added the tailor, showing the last style.

For Yenna, the other tailor came over to her with a holo-catalogue, to show her styles in dresses. The first one was in all manners of mixed colours, and the wear would have a stylish dark green cape to match with the dress. The second dress was much different in its look with a dark red, almost red wine colour to it, with one side ending just below the knee in one side, where the other side of the dress would go just above the foot. "This one though is if you like to look your best, but aren't one for showing off. A very tasteful choice of class" explained the Tailor, swiping to the last dress for Yenna to look at. "Called the Diamond of the Dark Night, a bit of a special dress as there has only ever been made a few thousand. However, this will really compliment your golden eyes miss and your dark green skin" complimented the tailor.

As Cas continued being fitted for a suit or tux or whatever, he heard Yenna freaking out about this stupid Ball. Then he felt a tugging on the fabric of his pants' leg, looking down he saw it was his Padawan pleading to 'sit this one out' and the Knight shook his head fiercely "Yeah, right." he snorted "If I gotta go, so do you." he added with a chuckle, finding her displeasure amusing to watch.

Once that was over with and Cas could relieve himself of his T-pose, he rendezvoused with Yenna and Adrian but stopped a few feet away from them when he saw the Jedi Master kneeling down and attempting to negotiate with her. Folding his arms, he observed the two and the gestures Adrian made - raising an eyebrow, it seemed very intimate and... slightly inappropriate. But nonetheless, she seemed very comfortable with Adrian... more comfortable than she ever seemed with Cas - if the Jedi Master managed to calm her down, Cas would re-evaluate his effectiveness as a Master and debate whether to step down as her Master and let Adrian take over. Adrian was a more experienced Jedi and the two already seemed to have a stronger bond than he and Yenna ever did.

For now though, he'd have to put these thoughts aside - they had a mission to complete. When that was over with, the Jedi Knight was presented with suit options by the tailor that fitted him and he met all of the options with a sour face, showing his displeasure with the choices "Seems a little excessive." he commented, hooking his thumb and index finger to his chin. Cas momentarily glanced at the tailor holding the catalogue before glancing back at said-catalogue and a mischievous smirk formed on his face, the young Knight wrapped an arm around the tailor's shoulder, buddying up against them "Say, pal. Lemme have a looks-y myself and I'll get back to you." he stated, patting the tailor's back heartily before nonchalantly taking the catalogue from their grip.

Swiping through the holo-catalogue, he went through a series of suits in hopes of finding one that perfectly suited his style. Finally, a large crept on his face when he found the suit that was perfect for him "Oh yeah, this'll do." he muttered to himself. Chirpily flipping the catalogue in the air before catching it in one hand, he approached the tailor and rested an arm on their shoulder while showing them the suit he wanted "How's about this? I'm sure the Master Jedi can afford it." he winked before glancing in Adrian's direction, giving him a thumbs up.

Yenna Yenna Adrian Valerius

The usual happy and optimistic glimmer in Yenna's eyes faded somewhat as her pleas were shot down without remorse by her master. She stared at him with dread and worry in her eyes until she was taken aside by Adrian, who was miles better at this situation than Cas. He begged her to do it for him and while it was almost enough, she still shook her head. Her tone changed, though, when he offered her some good liquor. That seemed to change her mind at the drop of a hat. "Holding you to this, I am." she said as she pointed a finger at him. His affection towards her helped a great deal to calm her down. Certainly tons more than Cas' approach to her dilemma.

Once Adrian left her she glanced at Cas, a glimmer of resentment in her eyes before she looked away at the tailor approaching her with the catalogue. She went through her options, but ultimately the first and last option was what caught her attention. Ultimately she came back to the first one. For a good few moments she stared at it before giving a nod. "This one I like." she muttered before giving the tailor a nod. "Let's go with that." she said with a big smile. Not only would it give plenty of room for her to store a lightsaber in, but she also felt that it would help her confidence. Something she needed immensely now thanks to her master's cold answer.

She glanced at Cas as he took a rather brash approach to the situation. Originally she might have sympathised with him over his choices. Now she felt rather annoyed over him taking advantage of Adrian like this. She felt it was quite unfair of him to throw Adrian's hospitality away like this and push his helping gesture away.

So she took the situation into her own hands. As the tailors walked away she anxiously followed after them and disappeared into the back room with them. It might look like she wanted to sort something out with her own outfit. But the reality was far more nefarious. "Hey. Sorry about that. A pain, he can be. Take advantage of my friend, I don't want to. Could you, perhaps, for the ball set up his second option?" she asked the tailors with a sympathetic smile. Hopefully they would agree to her plea and she could get back at him. She was tempted to ask for the third option, but that just seemed too cruel even for her standards now.

She appeared from the back room with a cheerful smile and dusted off her hands of this proverbial labour. "There we go! All set! Next, where to?" she asked happily, looking at the two masters with a smile on her face.

"Excus~ hey will you please return that sir?" begged the tailor, trying to take back the holo-catalogue with no luck. After Cas so rudely, choose his own suit and finally giving back the holo-catalogue, the tailor looked first to Adrian who nodded and then back at Cas. "Very well" with a bit of distaste in his tone, walking away. When Yenna appeared and explained and apologized as well, suggesting the other suit for her master, the tailor smiled and thanked her, before getting to work.

Adrian would remember Cas's rude, yet sassy nature, however, he would keep it close, until later, where it would best be used to repay his "honesty". Nevertheless, Adrian gave a charming smirk to Cas when he did the thumb-up, and walked over to the dark-skinned Jedi, taking Cas's hand in his. Adrian raised the Jedi's hand, a mischievous look in his eye, "only if I may have the first dance on the evening" said Adrian as he spun the Knight around himself with his own hand raised above his head, held by Adrian.

It looked straight out of a romantic finishing dancing move, the way Adrian effortlessly spun Cas around himself and catching the poor sod in his arms from tipping. Holding Cas's back in his arm, Adrian gave him a wink, before spinning Cas out of his hold. Everything happened within a couple of seconds and Cas would then again stand in front of Adrian, maybe a little dizzy from all the spinning.

Turning to Yenna, before kneeling down, giving her the permission to jump up on his back, before Adrian would head for the door. "I had the pleasure of securing a place for us to get a bit of eating," said the Jedi Master and lead the way out of the store and into the street. Cas and Yenna were being lead deeper into the area, passing multiple senators and politicians pass them, many being locals on the different planets in the galaxy, but a few would stand out from being interviewed on holo news.

If Yenna was tagging along on Adrian's back or shoulder, she would soon stand face to face with a very fancy liquor store's sign, named La Maison de l'alcool. If she wasn't tagging along on Adrian, she would see the store window filled with all manners of staged bottles, before seeing the sign. Without further notice to the other two, Adrian entered, expecting at least Yenna to follow him.

"Welcome, welcome. How may I help you?" Asked the shop owner with a presenting smile. "Why yes you can, my dearest friend here would like to taste some of the finest wine you have!" Explained Adrian with a charming smile, referring to Yenna with his hand. The shop other looked down at Yenna and was taken back a bit by her size and young look. "I apologize sir, but children, Jedi or not, is not allowed to be sold alcohol. Sorry, management's rules" explained the shop owner.

Yenna's glare earned her a confused glance back but after some deliberation, he could see why she'd be aggravated with him. Glancing away, Cas let out a defeated sigh - being a Master wasn't as easy as he'd thought it'd be, he kept making mistakes and Yenna kept paying for it. It further drove his consideration of passing her training over to someone more capable.

After picking a different formal attire, one that was more his style, Adrian approached him and took his hand "What're you--" was all he could get out before the Jedi Master asked him about 'having the first dance' unable to respond due to the complicated manoeuvres Adrian was doing, he waited until he was finished. Once that was over, Cas backed away slightly shaking his head from the dizziness "Sure." he answered casually "That's it though. I'm saving myself for marriage." he added, establishing any boundaries he may need to.

Following Adrian and Yenna, Cas deduced that the establishment they'd be taken to next would no doubt be as fancy, if not more so, than the tailor shop. Cas wouldn't deny that this area and Theed itself made him feel particularly out of place, despite coming from a prominent Clan on Kiffu he'd feel the same way during family gatherings - all of this was stirring up feelings of contempt and bad memories.

Inside the liquor store, Cas entered with Adrian and stood back slightly scanning the room around him. Ridiculously fancy. In fact, unnecessarily fancy - it was only liquor. The Jedi Knight was beginning to grow impatient now and it was visible on his irritated face and skittish body language, what did any of this have to do with their mission the Council had assigned to them. The clerk's comment on Yenna's age caught his ear, however, and pushing his aggravation aside he put on a fake smile and called out to the employee.

"Don't let her small stature and baby face fool you, she's older than all three of us combined. I think." beginning to subtly count his fingers, he didn't actually do the math on his statement. Regardless he now distracted himself.

Yenna Yenna Adrian Valerius

Yenna watched with amusement as Adrian spun Cas around with elegance. His comment on saving himself brought a snicker from Yenna but she kept her mouth shut. She was angry at him but their relationship was fragile enough as it was. She didn't need to voice her suspicions any more right now.

Adrian knelt down to let her get on but she didn't immediately hop up. She looked at him and then at Ca who was becoming visibly annoyed. She was torn in her feelings towards him. His arrogance and cockiness was not at all how a Jedi was supposed to behave. But at the same time she could tell there was something else bothering him. Perhaps that was the root of his lacking attitude...

she looked back to Adrian and gave a small smile as she patted his arm, letting him know she was fine. She then turned to Cas and gently landed on his shoulders again as usual. "Lunch sounds amazing. A bit thin, I think all of us are. A pick-me-up, we can all do with." she agreed with Adrian, though she was looking down at Cas with a reassuring smile. As annoyed as she was with him, It wasn't their way as Jedi to harbour a grudge...which now made her regret her choice from earlier. But she knew it was now too late to ask otherwise of the tailors. She was going to need something stronger than whiskey for this evening...

While following Adrian towards wherever he was leading them, she could tell Cas was getting more and more worked up. She lightly tugged a dreadlock to get him to look up at her and gave him a gentle smile. That smile faltered almost immediately when she looked up and saw where they were going. Her eyes went wide. Her mouth hung open and her body shuddered at the sight of the shop.

Adrian was going to regret this deal...

She hopped onto the counter and was about to protest when Cas spoke up. A smirk spread along her face as she proceeded to confirm his words through her ID holocard. "Not joking, he is." she stated smugly and enjoyed the utter shock on the man's face. She never got tired of pulling that card on people...literally. "Now. For me, what you can do, here is." she started looking around. She proceeded to name him a list of drinks which ultimately wrapped up as a dozen bottles of brandy, whiskey and Mandalorian Tihaar...all of which would cost a ludicrous amount.

Stepping away and hopping back onto Cas' shoulder, she looked like she just ran a marathon. She took a deep breath, sipped at her flask, then gave them a nod. "Let's go...before, more bad choices I make." she commented, waiting for them to leave the building.

Lunch sounded pretty good right about now...

The store clerk blinked a couple of times from Cas's comment and was about to ask for proof, when the small-statured Yenna produced her ID holo card. Looking at the card's information and the man's eyes went wide, "my apologies Master Yenna" said the shop owner and bowed before the girl. Adrian's lips cracked into a humourous smirk at the shop owner's reaction as he stuttered a bit when he realized Yenna's age.

Reading through the list, the store clerk nodded and started to procure flask from the back behind a locked door. "That will be... twenty-five thousand credits," said the shop owner as he started to pack the bottles into boxes specifically designed to hold bottles and liquor flasks. After Yenna explained to where all the bottles would be sent to, paid the Jedi Master for his little favourite green friend and lead them out of the store.

It didn't take them long before they would arrive at their destination, which was anything but beyond stupidly fancy. "Come along, I took the liberty in ordering us a table," explained the Jedi Master leading inside. The inside of the restaurant had a beautiful design to it, giving the feel of experiencing the forest during a star-filled night sky. With a dim-lighted room, slick dark floor and comfortable designer chairs along with dark wooded tables with a thick marble on top, smooth to the touch.

"Master Valerius! Welcome to Dimm D'loc" greeted the actual chef of the restaurant along with a waiter. With his trademark charming smile, Adrian took the chef's hand, "well, I just had to stop by, now that I have to two with me that haven't had the pleasure of live cooking by you" commented Adrian, as the chef and waiter led the trio to a spot by the long table.

Being seated with Yenna in the middle, Adrian to the left of her and Cas to the right. Standing on the other side, the chef clasped his hands together, "so, tell me! What fancy each of you today?" Asked the chef, while the waiter would write down drinks that they would like. A card was being rolled in from the kitchen and placed by the chef. However, it wasn't just any type of card, but a card that contained the capability of cooking food.

It was reassuring to know that Yenna wasn't totally mad at him, or at the very least, she was forgiving him as she subtly showed him throughout their journey to the fancy schmancy overpriced liquor store. He appreciated it, but it only further reinforced the guilt he felt for upsetting her in the first place.

While they were in the store and after Cas had vouched for Yenna, his arms were folded as she proved she was older than all of them and watched with a smug grin while she did it. Proving people wrong, especially rich type was so, so satisfying. Despite that though, he was worried that by bringing them here, Adrian was enabling her drinking habits and unfortunately, even though he was her Master, she was an adult who was entitled to make her own decisions and so, he had no say.

Once she returned to his shoulder, he lightly turned his head in her direction and addressed her in a low tone "You sure about this" he asked, concerned, and referring to the amount of drinks she listed and that Adrian was about to buy.

Cas' jaw practically dropped to the floor when the store clerk revealed the price of it all - "25,000?! I--" he stuttered before raising his hands in defeat "Y'know what, it's your money." he said, shrugging. With that out of the way, Cas, with Yenna in tow, followed the eccentric Jedi Master to this restaurant he had mentioned earlier: Dimm D'loc (sounded sexual) and, of course, it probably cost more than he'd ever make in his life to even book a table there.

Finally at their table, Cas sat to the right of Yenna and placed his elbow on the table while resting his cheek on his palm. His frustration had returned once more and it showed, angling his body in the direction of the waiter, Cas glared at him "I'm not hungry. Sir." he declared, emphasising on the last word before turning to look passed Yenna and at Adrian. The Jedi Master would see the fire and impatience in his brown eyes as Cas spoke "Look, Master Valerius, with all due respect, I've been patient but in case you'd forgotten, we were given a mission to do. Why the kriff are we taking excessive amounts of detours--" growing increasingly frustrated Cas stood up from his seat and balled up his fists, whitening the knuckles of his organic hand "--instead of actually doing what we're supposed to?! If you wanna screw around, fine. I'm not." as his impatience and emotions got the better of him, Cas growled in frustration before turning to leave this snobbish restaurant, ready to complete this assignment himself - whether Yenna wanted to accompany him or not was up to her.

Yenna waved off Cas' question and pointed at the door for them to leave. She didn't even want to hear the price of the liquor she ordered. Thankfully they were on the move in short order, allowing Yenna to process the choice she made. In no time at all they arrived at the restaurant and Yenna was amazed by the beauty of the building. Sitting on Cas' shoulders like a kid, she looked around the place and admired the architecture.

They took their seats and Yenna waited anxiously to see what the hype was about. From the look of it, it was going to be fun to see what Adrian was going on about. The chef approached and asked for their orders. Yenna sat in thought for a few moments before looking up at Cas. Her heart sank as he ranted away, chewing Adrian out and storming off. Yenna glanced at Adrian, then the chef, then at Cas. "Cas, wait!" she called out, hopping out of the seat and running after him. She jumped up and landed on his shoulders, spinning around to hold onto his shirt collar as she looked him in the eye. "Hold up, please!" she spoke with worry, holding onto his shirt with both her hands and feet to keep his gaze centered on her. "Eccentric, Master Valerius is. But, nonetheless, a good person." she spoke sincerely, trying to find a middle ground for both her friends. "Now, have time, we still. Like him, you don't have to. But, stick with it. Please. Only tonight, the party is. Grab some food, then cool off, we can." she flashed him a smile.

"Come on. Some lunch, let's eat." she quipped gently as she dropped her feet and wrapped her arms around his neck to give him a hug. She dropped to the ground and grabbed his pant leg, pulling him along back to the table. "Two bantha burgers, with two colas." she ordered the chef as she led Cas back to their seat and scooted back in. She shot Adrian a wink to assure him it was all fine.

Despite Cas' rumbling frustration, Adrian didn't react, though he did hear the Knight speak. However, the Knight, all too brash, got up and ran out like there was no tomorrow. The chef looked from all three Jedi and then glanced to the Jedi Master who was reading the drink menu, "yea, I'll take A bottle of red... and a bottle of white, we're going to be here for a bit" chipped Adrian with a charming smile, enough to make anyone soft in their legs.

Upon return of the Knight and Padawan, Adrian turned with a smile, "wonderful, I'm starved" commented Adrian and faced the chef. "I think I'll try the Goulash, been ages since I've tried that" announced Adrian and started to look for something in his very fine clothes. he pulled out a small holoprojector and with the forced, levitated the small object in front of Cas until he took it.

"We are attending The Ruby Ball, Knight Cas. I know you aren't exactly the type to do the finer things in life, But when it comes to balls they only open at a certain time for guest" started Adrian to explain. If Cas activated the holoprojector, a small hologram of an invitation to The Ruby Ball. What Cas also would notice, was 7:30 pm for when the ball would open its doors.

"Mmm, my my, what an exquisite red" expressed the Jedi Master, after sipping to his wine. Which by now, the drinks for Cas and Yenna had also arrived, while the chef was fully active in preparing their meals. After sipping once again from his red, Adrian turned to look at Cas, "so even if we matched up all huff and puff as you so finely displayed earlier my friend, you wouldn't be allowed inside. So enjoy your meal" explained Adrian with a relaxed tone. "Besides, our target hasn't even arrived yet" added the Jedi Master, right as all three meals were presented on a beautifully designed plate.

"Bon appetite," said the chef with a bow and rolled away from their table.

Hearing Yenna's voice, telling him to wait - he was planning on leaving her with Adrian since the two were so clearly buddy buddy but was forced to stop when he felt the green alien's weight on his shoulder. Before he could even react, she was already at his robe's collar earning her an annoyed sigh from him "You're stretching out my robes, Yen." he protested, averting his gaze.

She attempted to defuse the situation and calm him down, which was working. More so because he was impressed with her negotiating skills, that and she had sound reasoning. Letting out another sigh, he glanced back at her "Alright. I am hungry..." he relented, returning her hug with one arm although it was difficult due to the angle. With that, he returned to the table with Yenna, sitting in his allocated seating from before "Those are all for me right?" he asked rhetorically, quipping at Yen's order.

After Adrian finished explaining the situation, Cas frowned and sighed hanging his head low slightly. After a few seconds, his head rose up and he turned to face Adrian "Alright, I'm sorry. I'd blame it on me being hangry but no, I'm just an ass." he apologised, extending his arm out in hopes of putting his little outburst behind them. He was disappointed in himself for setting a bad example for his Padawan, furthering his belief he wasn't ready for one yet.

Once the food arrived, Cas face lit up like a star, he was starving and not even seconds after his plate was placed on the table he began digging in. The Jedi Knight could care less he was in a fancy restaurant, and probably embarrassing himself in front of the upper class Naboo. After chewing and swallowing his first few bites, Cas threw his head back and let out a satisfied noise he only made when he was with Tess before lowering his head and letting out a pleasant sigh. Holding the burger with his flesh hand, he pointed at it with his gloved one "Oh my stars, this is hands down the best bantha burger I've ever had." he stated, after letting the first few bites settle he addressed the two "What else do you know about the target?" he asked, getting back to business.

To Yenna's relief, Cas relented and returned to the table with her. She gave him a smile as he apologized to Adrian. She really didn't want a fight between the two. Yenna sat quietly as Adrian provided more details over the ball and mission. She used the force to pull her glass closer and took a long sip of her cola. There was a desire to add a bit more to it but she tried to push it aside. This was a nice lunch with her friends in a very nice place. She could try to keep her urges at bay for a bit.

After a while their food was ready and placed in front of them. Yenna's pupils went wide as she gave a maniacal grin. The burger was huge! Cas wasted no time in digging in but Yenna was much more meticulous. She studied it and figured out how to grab it without spilling anything out. Once she figured it out, she grabbed hold of the burger and placed it right on the edge of the plate and squashed it down to keep everything in place. With that, she started biting away at it. She held onto the plate, shifting it as necessary to reach a spot on the burger with her tiny mouth. Once it was getting a bit shallow, she adjusted forward once more.

She stopped with her precision burger eating to look up at Cas when he asked about the target. She glanced at Adrian, using a chip to wipe off the sauce on her cheeks before eating it. Her tempo slowed miraculously as she waited to hear the important stuff, only eating a chip here and there. Out of habit she reached for her flask but quickly caught herself, slipping it back into her pocket. Instead she reached over and took a long sip of her cola.
