Private Two and a Half Jedi

Yenna didn't even have time to close her tiny hand before the gem flew out of her grasp and into Adrian's. Her heart sank and as she looked up to him, a guilty look spread across her features. She looked down at the ground in embarrassment as she processed what happened. "Sorry, I am, master." she muttered as she followed after him. He was right. She was supposed to be better than this. But it still wasn't easy to shove down those old habits. But she quickly focused on the task at hand as Adrian gave a rundown on how to dance. Before she had any objections, he was leading her onto the dance floor and throwing her into the deep end.

She stumbled around and trotted over his toes -thankfully not an issue- as she tried to find her rhythm and move with Adrian. Eventually she got the hang of it and soon she danced along with a grin. She ignored the looks and smirks from other patrons, focusing only on his eyes as she held his hands and danced to the rhythm of the song. A bubbly giggle escaped her even as she gave a twirl and continued with the dance.

But the moment of peace didn't last as Cas fell into the mix, sounding a bit shaken up. Her earpiece came to life as he warned them of Kargon's presence. Immediately she glanced around and fell out of the rhythm as she prepared herself for a fight. "Master? What now?" she asked in a bit of a panic as she looked at Adrian.

As Adrian and Yenna danced, the Jedi Master noticed Cas making his way through the crowd, and just out of instinct, he stopped dancing and turned towards something. He didn't know what it was, but he reached out with the force and actually grabbed something invisible.

Yenna would watch as a grenade dropped its invisibility and Adrian actually stood, holding an armed thermal detonator with the force, right in front of them. Cas would have immediately seen a woman throw the invisible grenade, before looking the Jedi Knight's way, giving him a wink and rushed out of the room. The knowledge of a grenade spread like a wildfire, giving Cas quite the trouble when everyone gunning for the exit.

As the Thermal Detonator went off, nothing happened, because Adrian was actually holding the explosion within a stasis. However, he had to concentrate that he couldn't move. With a strained voice, "Yenna, darling. Go assist Cas!".

If Cas managed to get through the panic chaos, rushing for the exit, he would just manage to see Kargon shift into a blond-haired servent, who dashed into the kitchen and most likely knew of the service entrance.

"Excuse me, sorry, coming through!" Cas continued as he pushed his way through - a particular woman caught his eyes and as she did so, threw an invisible detonator into the air before turning to mock him. He bared his teeth and his eyebrows furrowed in frustration, Cas begun to become more aggressive as he made his way through the crowd but felt its flow shift as the partygoers spotted the grenade that Adrian had miraculously slowed from exploding.

Beginning to get actually pushed back due to the crowd's force and the direction they were headed, he was finding it difficult to progress but once again caught the eye of Kargon who was shape-shifting into a blonde servant "Dammit! Move!" he exclaimed before calling out to Yenna whom he had managed to spot in the crowd "Yen, he's the blonde haired servant! He's gone into the kitchens - find him!" he instructed still trying to make his way through.

At this rate, he'd had enough now. Letting out a growl of frustration, the ends would justify the means for what he was about to do. Performing a Force enhanced leap, Cas transitioned into a somersault before landing on the shoulders of a party guest and swiftly traversed his way across the top of the crowd and made his way to the kitchens "Sorry, sorry! This is an emergency! And I don't weigh that much!" he apologised, reassuring the guests that had the misfortune of being used as a means of travel for the Jedi Knight.

He hoped Adrian could hold off the detonator for long enough as there was still many guests that needed to escape. Finally exiting the main hall and into the kitchens he hoped Yenna was there - seeing no sign of her, he telepathically linked their minds through the Force. He would be able to hear her thoughts but she would also be able to hear what he would project to her as well "Yenna, where are you? You found him yet?" Cas conveyed to his Padawan, wherever she was.

The ball turned into a mess. Adrian reached out and Yenna's eyes went wide at the sight of a thermal detonator hanging only a few feet from her. It went off and she covered her eyes in a vain attempt to protect herself... but nothing happened. Adrian was holding the blast with the Force in a neatly compact ball. Before she could get a word in or process what the kark was actually happening, he gave his orders. "Yes master!" she spoke up before hopping away.

All the guests were scramming for the exits, but she didn't let that stop her. She jumped up and hopped from one head or shoulder to the other. From her view she could see the blonde servant Cas mentioned. "On it, master!" she shouted over the ruckus at Cas as she followed Kargon into the kitchens. She burst through the swivel doors and landed on a table nearby, her lightsaber ignited in an instant. If this guy was packing any more weaponry, she needed to be ready.... but she didn't see him. She glanced around and kept her wits about her for any surprises, but there was simply no sign of the man. She hopped onto another counter and ventured deeper into the kitchen. The only sound she could hear was the humming of her lightsaber and the muffled screams from the guests in the ballroom.

She heard Cas' voice in her head and knew what he was doing. Though now she was in an issue where she couldn't communicate back. She still needed to learn this power. She only hoped that her lack of training wasn't going to cost the mission. "No, master. Still looking, I am." she whispered in hopes that he could hear her through his earpiece over the noise outside. She used the force to yank open the walk-in fridge, but there was nothing there. So she dashed deeper into the kitchen, going through the backdoor that led towards the outside of the building. This wasn't good. She needed to find him. The only reassurance was that he couldn't have gotten far. Though why she couldn't see him in a straight hallway was unnerving. She used the force to boost her speed as she ran through the hallway towards the only doorway she could see in the place.

While Cas and Yenna were playing superheroes, Adrian was still concentrating heavily, holding back the explosion from shredding everything around it. "Ah yes, no need to hurry people, not like there's a bomb being held back here!" expressed the Jedi Master in a great deal of sass as people actually started to calm down and walk out when they saw Adrian caught the bomb.

Meanwhile, Yenna and Cas would hear at the same time a door being pulled open, slamming against a wall in the back end of the kitchen, through a darkened hallway. If they rushed after the sound, they would indeed see a door open, leading to the outside. While many guests were outside, one particularly servant, ran towards the large group of people, who all was heading for their vehicles.

Back inside of the mansion, Adrian was finally alone and with clever use of the force, he opened up the side of the stasis away from himself. Like opening a shaken soda bottle, just ten times worse, it managed to push the Jedi Master a good few steps back as everything in front of him got shredded to pieces. Breathing a sigh of relief, Adrian turned his nose towards the entrance and dashed out, placing his finger to the earpiece. "Bomb is secure, but I think the owner is gonna have a tiny fit when he sees what our target's farewell gift has done to his home" joked the Jedi Master and looked for Cas and Yenna.

Knowing the only other exit in the kitchen is outside, Adrian also looked for a servant, that Cas had described earlier, but so far was unable to see any looking suspicions due to so many people around him. "Cas, Yenna, any update?" Asked Adrian as he started to move through the sea of people.

Cas searched the kitchen area, both for Kargon and Yenna while feeling slight relief that she hadn't found him yet. A loud slamming sound reverberated through the back end of the kitchen, immediately catching Cas' attention as he whipped his head around to the direction of the sound. With no hesitation, Cas darted toward the origin of the slamming sound to find a door leading outside wide open.

This was both good and bad, they were all split up, although they could cover more ground apart they were at risk of facing Kargon alone. Outside, Cas scanned the area and looked upon the crowd of people getting ready to leave, they were running out of time. The only lead he had was a servant who was running toward the crowd, it had to be Kargon, the servant was now dark skinned with dark plaited pigtails "I think I have a lead." the Knight stated, answering Adrian's question as his eyes were laser focused on the servant that was potentiall Kargon.

Surfing through the crowd Cas' gaze remained locked onto the plaited haired girl before he finally got close enough to reach out and grab her by the shoulder, spinning her around Cas couldn't even get a word out before she clocked him in the face with an inhuman right hook. The Kiffar was sent a few feet backward, crashing through the crowd before finally hitting the ground with a tumble. Getting up onto one knee, Cas tapped his earpiece "Found him." he grunted, spitting out some blood before wiping his mouth.

Unclipping his lightsaber and igniting it, he stood up completely "Everyone clear out!" he yelled out - fortunately, when Kargon punched him through the crowd, it created a clear path to him which the Jedi Knight took advantage of - rushing toward the changeling before he could shapeshift into someone else.

Yenna was after him out of the door without a moment's hesitation. Cas was close after her as well which she used to her advantage, jumping up to land on his shoulder. Outside it was a mess of people trying to get away, but Cas luckily spotted their target through the carnage, calling him out to her. Yenna jumped off his shoulders as he darted forward, following after him to back him up. To her surprise he got decked into the ground which would have been amusing under better circumstances. However things took a problematic turn when Cas ignited his lightsaber. "Cas, wait!" she called out, but the ruckus around them cut her out completely. Plus she doubted he'd listen even if he heard her.

So instead she decided to intervene. She closed her eyes and focused the force, wrapping it around their target's legs to force him into the ground. Immediately afterward, she focused on Cas to yank back on his sword arm to stop him from doing something stupid or injuring the crowd around them. She focused on Kargon once more and held him down with the Force. It was hard work and it showed with the grimace on her little face, but she held the grip on Kargon long enough for Cas to arrest him.

"Master... got him, I think we have." she grunted into the microphone of the earpiece to let Adrian know. Once Kargon was apprehended, Yenna would let go and sit down with a heavy sigh. She took the moment to catch her breath, watching the people around them with a small smile on her lips.

Adrian had picked up speed and was now running towards Cas and Yenna, who seemed to be in close contact to Kargon. Meanwhile, as Cas tried to close in the shapeshifter, the man dropped his current form and apparently stealth technology, because he had a jetpack equipped and blasted into the air, to get away from Cas' attack.

However, Yenna's quick thinking, using the force the wrap around Kargon's legs, kept the shapeshifter stationary just above everyone else. With that said, Yenna would quickly feel how the Jetpack fought very heavily against her pull as Kargon increased its output of power, to overwhelm the little green Padawan.

Adrian had finally arrived and like Yenna, reached out with the force and instead of closing it around Kargon, Adrian used the force to short circuit the internal parts of the jetpack. The idea was great and it shut down the jetpack, however, that also meant that, if Yenna still tried to pull Kargon down, he would be slammed down harshly into the floor of the outdoor area.

Screaming in pain, a bone had protruded from his shin, rendering him unable to walk. Private guards, as well as Nabooian police, had arrived at the place as well.

Screaming in pain, Kargon was apprehended and taken away, while other officers took statements from the Jedi, owner and many of the guests that were nearest the action. The owner, however, invited Adrian, Cas and Yenna to his ball, giving them an official invitation, which Adrian accepted for them all three and no matter how much Cas or Yenna tried to escape it, the Jedi Master would get at least one single dance with both Jedi.
