      • Break Boost - The break boost module delivers a powerful, sudden burst of thrust power that provides an instant burst of acceleration in a given direction. In this, the system can throw its user off-axis and shift her momentum in an instant, making it useful for evading attacks, closing the distance on an opponent, breaking a target lock, and yet more. To supplement the module, the repulsorlift engine or the ion thrusters themselves may be used to swiftly deccelerate the user after a break boost.

      • Atmospheric-Friction Shield / Polarized Navigation Shield - In the context of space travel, these shields protect against micrometeoroid impacts and atmospheric translation. In the atmosphere, they form a break against wind and debris. They are polarized to allow kinetic fire to leave. However, it should be noted that these systems are not rated to withstand kinetic fire, but are capable of drawing on separate power sources in order to retain operation even when the main combat systems are degraded or overloaded. These shields may also be shaped to enhance aerodynamics.

STRENGTHS
  • Sweet Escape - The Turbo Ultra is capable of operating in the void and within an atmosphere. It has all-weather capability. Moreover, the propulsion system is capable of independent escape from a planet-sized primary body.
  • High Jump - The enhanced jump servos allow Eden to leap to extreme heights.
  • Bounce and Fade - The Turbo Ultra is capable of executing dazzling, breakneck maneuvers at ludicrous speeds. A break boost maneuver can throw the user off-axis with such violent acceleration that they become difficult for the eye to track. Break boosts can be chained together to allow Eden to zig-zag through bullet hells and missile massacres, making her extremely difficult for any targeting computer to hold a lock on. In addition, the Turbo Ultra is not lacking in terms of raw top speed.
  • Quiet Thrust - The Turbo Ultra features a full complement of stealth systems which conceal the emissions of its thrusters, while also making it virtually soundless during operation. Accordingly, the propulsion system does not generate a heat signature which can be locked onto or registered by sensors.
WEAKNESSES
  • Overload - The Turbo Ultra’s Sleg Ultracapacitors can be dangerous when overloaded with energy, with the potential to explode or catch on fire in such an event. In addition, if supplemental antimatter reserves are stowed aboard, a penetrating shot could cause the system to erupt in a catastrophic explosion that will consume the wearer.
  • Point of Failure - In spite of the fact that Eden is a gynoid, she possesses an organic construction. As such, the acceleration compensators are easily the most critical component of the propulsion system, which serve to protect her from the extreme G-forces generated by the Turbo Ultra during hard maneuvers. In the event that they begin to operate at reduced efficiency, typically due to damage, the performance of the propulsion system will likely need to be turned down, especially pertaining to acceleration.
  • Burn Wound - The Turbo Ultra's SLAM module can only be sustained for a limited amount of time due to its intense power demands and potential to overheat the engines. At maximum, the system can be active for twenty consecutive seconds before it is automatically shut off, at which point the thrusters must undergo a mandatory heat discharge protocol.
  • Mechu-deru - If left unprotected, the Turbo Ultra will be vulnerable to the esoteric sorceries of Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. As such, a skilled practitioner of such arts could feasibly disable it, provided that they have a direct line of sight to the propulsion system and its operator.
DESCRIPTION
Seeking to expand her arsenal and develop a unique combat flair, Eden Io set out to create her own combat ensemble. The Turbo Ultra is but one component of it, but it is also the most defining. In this regard, the Turbo Ultra enables a high speed, hyper agile combat style. It does this to such an extent that only a synthetic mind (or a natural organic one that has been suitably enhanced) can truly use the system to the maximum potential, as it is capable of speeds which thoroughly break the limits of unaugmented reflexes. Fortunately, this was not a problem for Eden, due to her synthetic nature.

While the Turbo Ultra is capable of reaching top speeds in excess of 5500 km/h, the system is more potent for the sudden, violent accelerations it can generate, typically in the form of break boosts, allowing its user to dodge incoming attacks almost at will. The Turbo Ultra is also not lacking in stealth. To say the least, with its stealth systems and extreme performance, locking onto the user is an incredibly difficult task.

All in all, the Turbo Ultra is hoped to represent a vital, defining piece in Eden Io’s arsenal.
